Having bought a car from Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Plymouth and had all the sweet talk at the beginning because the staff obviously want their commission, you are quickly left to deal with any problems that occur with your car. My car started to go wrong within 6 weeks and although covered by a warranty no one from their workshop could find out what the problem was although after the warranty things needed doing that now cost me money. The car I bought has been in and out of garages nearly every month for the whole time I have had this car The only thing that put the car right was having a new engine put in by a reputable garage. I even tried to give the car back but no, I was told the car left their forecourt in good condition and no, the finance company Alphera (who are as useless as Evans Halshaw) won't let you do that because you're passed a certain point and will have to pay the penalty. Let me tell you NO ONE at EH or Alphera take responsibility for any thing that goes wrong with your car. I've paid the monthly payments for years coming to a cost of £16,000 (yes you read that right) and then Alphera had the cheek to ask me for more money because of marks on the car, in their opinion these fell outside the fair wear and tear guide when in fact the car had scratches on it when I bought it and EH did a shoddy repair at dealing with them. Its the biggest joke of a partnership that I've even come across and no one listens to you. Something needs to be done!!!

Absolutely disgraceful service from Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Plymouth. I called about a vehicle was told the car was in great condition so paid the 200£ deposit to have it moved closer to me. Turned up to the viewing to find the car filthy, paint work poor, wheels kerbed, Ariel missing , leak coming in under the boot which is situated in the front, rusty head lights, bolts missing that hold the side panel onto the car .. a car which is supposedly worth 4 thousand pounds! And just to top the whole thing off the salesman had absolutely no interest at all in selling the car.. no sales pitch, couldn't answer simple questions like what is the engine size or where has the car come from, didnt want to look or comment on the things we politely pointed out instead got very stroppy and told us to go as the car wasnt right for us!! Never in all my years have I ever experienced anything like it before at a car dealership. If only I had checked out all the reviews before hand I would never have bothered.. what I find sad is the fact that management are obviously not interested in the slightest in ensuring their customers are happy.

I paid 9k for a car from Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Plymouth 18 months ago and have so far spent over 5k on it whenever you speak to them they ain’t interested I have only done 12 thousand miles in this car.

Never again will i buy a car let alone leave it with them as on every occasion when given back, its always either damaged or the interior covered with oil. The management don't care when made aware. BEWARE!

Perfect service no pressure to buy the car sells themselves the prices are best in the area the guys are very friendly with a great sense of humor. We bought a Citroen c 3 and would definitely buy from them again . They really look at what car you need not what you fancy and the car you need was alot cheaper than the one you fancied lol
