The worst company I have ever dealt with. Paid 200 to move a car closer, Then a sales person from Walsall branch MEGAN Said the car could not be moved due to the mileage being 100k. I stayed the listing showed 89k and could be moved closer, She the tried to sell me a warranty and asked if I was taking out finance. She quickly tried to change by saying she needed to speak to her manager to find if they could move the vehicle. I still have not received my 200 refund WHAT A JOKE. BE CAREFUL MIS SELLING.
Bought a car from these guys 5 months ago, it broke down 6 times returning to my nearest workshop vauxhall Nottingham chillwell Evans halshaw who was brilliant. Unfortunately cannot say the same about ford walsall Evans halshaw the people who sold me the car!. They are unprofessional, arrogant and very rude to their customers. Rather help resolve my situation by replacing my car for a like for like simply because it's been breaking down so frequently, the dealer principal (Ben) decided to remind me that I would not be given in value what the car was worth when I purchased it... or a like for like unless I come up with the difference. Absolutely discusting service and I do not recommend anyone to buy from them. They are rookies and do not care what they sell to a customer as long as they make a sale. Avoid!!!
I bought a Mercedes c class from Evans Halshaw Walsall, very happy with the service . Dale Harrison is a very good salesman, very happy with his service and very happy with the car.
Booked an appointment the day before we were going to view three cars, with the intention of buying two. Had a confirmatory call the day of the appointment saying the cars would be ready. After waiting 45 minutes from the time of the appointment for the cars to be viewed two were covered in snow and couldn't be test driven and they couldn't find the third. If the test drives had been good, and I have no reason to think they wouldn't have been, we would have purchased two vehicles that day. At that point we decided we did not want to deal with Walsall branch. If they can't be bothered at the initial sale stage, what will they be like if I have a query or problem in the future after the purchase. So, despite them having two vehicles I wanted I would not buy them from there.

Wife and I went to Evans Halshaw Walsall having seen a used car we liked the look of on the web. Our only possible gripe was that we couldn't test drive it that day but it was the day before New Year. Otherwise, we enjoyed the whole buying process. The car was immaculately presented, the sales guy Jon and his manager Sean were very helpful and efficient. They matched a good offer we had already had on our part ex elsewhere and made sure the car was fully valeted and ready to go on the day we wanted. Having seen some of the bad reviews, we were a little hesitant before going but I speak as I find. All I can say is that our experience at Evans Halshaw was a very good one from start to finish.
Terrible customer service. Currently 12 people waiting too be seen or shown cars and all staff are sat around talking or on mobile phones completely disinterested. Wouldn't recommend even if it was a last resort for a car.
Waited there for 3 hours while they identified fault ordered part waited 3 weeks taken car back in ordered or sent wrong part, now have to wait for correct part.
I have bought 2 new cars from this company without problems so when my so wanted to buy a decent second hand fiesta titanium x model, he found the car he wanted and arranged for their move it scheme to bring it closer. He paid £200 to do this in advance. It was supposed to take 5-10 days but over a month later the car had not appeared. Then he had a message saying the car was probably there but ' it's a big site and we can't find it'. Finally he was told yesterday that the car ' has a fault and we can't sell it'. Really?? How stupid do they think we are? They have either sold it accidentally ( which given the effectiveness of their systems is probably possible) or sold it on purpose to a staff member or relative- it was a low mileage high spec car. Either way I am disgusted - not only have they lost a sale from my son but when I change in my car at the end of the year- I certainly will not use this inept unprofessional dealership again. Very very poor.
Sold my car to Evans Halshaw/ sell your car / pendragon. The 3 names they go by. 3 1/2 weeks later they still haven’t settled the finance after taking my car and over 5k. I’ve have more payments taken from my account and they won’t give me a straight answer. I’ll be contacting the financial ombudsman.
I bought used vauxhall insignia from Evans Halshaw in August 2016 and they repaired and repainted the rear bumper because there was a small bump. After 10 months the paint started to crack from the same spot and now the paint is scraping off itself. I called them this week and they said they won't do it again for free so there is no point going to them again just to waste money. I would not recommend Evans Halshaw for any kind of paint job.
