Visited and test drove 2 DS7's yesterday 28th June. Loved the car but pulled out of the sale due to the increadibly poor approach to selling. Salesman tried to sell the add ons before the price of the car had even been discussed. Poor information regarding the car and slightly aggressive in approach to agreeing a deal. If you want to experience how NOT to sell a car go to this dealership for a great example. Sorry but you lost my custom. be careful what you sign up to, terrible warrently offer.

We found a nearly new C4 at EH York and found the on line purchase and delivery process quite strange and unusual. But much better than driving 200 miles, staying over at a hotel + food and return journey. Our contacts with Shaun were excellent with plenty of assistance to complete the tasks remotely, Car arrived yesterday, quicker than expected and we’re pleased with it (on day 2 at least)
1 review just nowNEW CONMAN CARS! I bought a car from this joke of a dealership in May this year for just shy of £10k, in the first 13weeks of owning the car it has spent 9weeks off the road! I was dealt with by Shaun Belt who told lies upon lies, I explained the car was being bought to be a driving school car from the day one, with this in mind the liar knew both Asset Protection Insurance (API) and extended mechanical warranty we’re not worth the paper they we’re written on. This did not stop him pushing ahead with trying to sell them, I flatly refused API as I quoted clauses in the product and not only that my business insurance broker includes this product anyway, he assured me I was wrong! He hard pressed me to buy the mechanical warranty despite me having serious concerns it was fit for purpose, his words were “I assure you it’s fully viable to a driving instructor I’ve sold the same product to my father who’s a driving instructor”. Yet with all the problems I’ve had with the car and the dealer principal Jonathan Whitehead ignoring my calls I tried to return the vehicle within the first 14days which Whitehead flatly refused. All Whitehead did was get Belt to telephone my wife whilst the car was sat in their car park “asking for bank details to arrange a refund” he never confirmed what the refund was for just that he’d been asked to call! The refund was a cover up and returned £599 the warranty money realising he had lied and miss sold the product. Since that day nobody from conman cars has returned any call or emails. My advice is stay well clear these liars both Whitehead and Belt are not fit to sell newspapers let alone cars! Oh by the way liar the car is now running fine after spending a month at another “reputable Peugeot dealership” diagnosing and fixing problems that you sold the car with.

Phoned dealership to enquire about a none citroen car advertised on their website. As soon as I got thru, the website updated and the car price went up £3k. After a little haggling, they said they would honour the original price as long as I agreed to buy today - I did and bear in mind this is a 20k cash sale. An appointment for a video call was made for later that day but it didn't happen. I return called and was told the salesman was busy and would call back before end of play that day. NOTHING. I phoned them first thing the following day x2 and when I eventually got the salesman, he informed me the car had been sold........... Staggered and appalled at their customer service and will avoid at all costs in the future.

Having lost the keys to our elderly citroen courtesy car(we are in the trade)we asked for the security pass so we could program a new key.despite having a vat number, passport, log book,driving, licence,trade insurance,household bills all pertaining to address of said vehicle,was told the only way they could deal with this was for the car to be on their premises.No one would recover it for less than 400 pound as it was very complex position and locked in gear on full lock etc. unhelpful service manager and parts manager didnt return calls.Local key company produced 2 keys cut to order and codes on proof of ownership..Our new citroen will not becoming from any evans group companies nor will our new vehicles ever.I know this review will make no difference but if you wish to discuss it our number is 01405862526
