I purchased a Mercedes E53 AMG from Exclusive Autos Watford in June 2025. After only around 3 months, the paint started peeling from the bumper. After only around 8 months of ownership, at approximately 48,781 miles, the engine catastrophically failed and seized. The Mercedes service had been carried out only around 3,000 miles before the engine failure. Despite this, the engine was stripped down and found to have severe internal damage. The No.3 big-end/conrod had welded itself to the crankshaft due to extreme heat, the crankshaft was badly damaged, bearings throughout the engine were worn through, and the cylinder bores were scored. The conclusion was a major lack of lubrication/oil pressure/oil flow and the engine was beyond repair. When I first raised the engine issue, Exclusive Autos said they had “strong reason to believe the engine may indeed not be at fault” and recommended another Mercedes specialist. I followed their advice, and further investigation confirmed the catastrophic engine damage. There was also a Ghost immobiliser already fitted to the car when I purchased it, which I was not told about. The garage found it was in valet mode. When I raised this with Exclusive Autos, they said they had told us verbally. I asked how we could have driven the car for 8 months without ever being given or needing a code, and asked when/how this was supposedly explained. My questions were ignored. I made a formal complaint and gave them 5 days to respond. That deadline has now passed and I have received no response. Cars can go wrong, but what matters is how a dealer treats customers when something serious happens. Unfortunately, my experience has been a lack of care, communication and support. Based on my experience, I would not buy from Exclusive Autos again and would strongly advise potential customers to carry out thorough independent checks before purchasing.

Before buying a car from them PLEASE READ THIS.. Some evidence pics attached Bought a fully loaded black and red a class 13 days ago which has had nothing but issues the glass is cracked in 4 places, the internal plastic in some places has fell off looks like they stuck it down with cheap silicone, there's been a safety restraint malfunction(warning light), two tyres were illegal-(£350) wiper blades worn-(£50) dent/scratched next to door panel and the underneath panels were missing all of this suggests these guys buy broken cars put them together with cheap parts and labour clear all the faults and try sell them for as much as possible. On the advert no faults were suggested and they were selling as a luxury car. Please if u want a decent long lasting car do not make the mistake of trusting these scammers. I wrote this review a month ago and they said they’d sort it out so I took off in good faith, but they have made no effort and since then the battery has had to be replaced (£300) also had a quote to repair some of the cars issues such as windscreen, dents and plug it in to look at malfunction for-(£1250). the brake pads also need to be replaced which is worrying as they said they were replaced on the day I bought it..

I recently purchased an AMG GTR from Exclusive Autos and have to say my overall experience was nothing short of brilliant. The car was prepped to a high standard, communication was great, the whole process from arranging finance to collection was seamless. I purchased a set of c63s alloy wheels for the sum off £2,200 pounds, called them up to have them collected, they then told me that they hadn't received payment from ebay, I then contacted ebay who told me that the received the payment from them, called them back after a few attempts I got hold of Sam Hussain still denied he received payment (joke) I am now waiting for my refund. This company is a joke would never deal with them again.
