A car was purchased and promised was a good run around for a first time car and was looked after by their own mechanic. The car come with only two month MOT which failed miserably and came with many problems and also broke down with misfiring problems. We was not given the option for repair nor was he interested in taking the back back and refunding in full. Absolutely terrible
Don't Sell cars that have odd front brake calipers fitted, Kinghams in Croydon have established that whilst carrying out a health check of the car which I had bought from Tom, someone has fitted an off side brake caliper to the near side, surely Toms Trained Mechanic may have noticed this? it was only noticed when the brake line which was rubbing the steering suspension arm was replaced as it was close to wearing completely through due to incorrect routing. Oh! the lateral acceleration sensor which failed within a week of buying the car, which in turn kills the car puts the 4 ways on and operates the door controls gives a suspension fault 'lean when cornering' alarm. This too will need replacing. BUT if you don't take an RAC policy at a big cost with Tom, and a fault occurs Tom will happily advise you that you didn't take out RAC cover. He doesn't accept liability otherwise. There is however a small claims court close to you that would listen and if paid by Credit card they can also help. Trading standards have also been exceptionally helpful.

In relation to my review on Fairview autos I do sincerely apologize and retract my previous comments. Kinghams of Croydon had incorrectly informed me and took me right up the garden path! at an additional cost after buying the car from Tom... the brake caliper is, was and has never been fitted incorrectly and in fact Kinghams of Croydon had got it wrong, then re routed the brake line on the Range Rover incorrectly after their diagnosis. I have apologized profusely to Tom of Fairview's and have since received a full refund on the work carried out by Kinghams of Croydon due to their error and incorrect information including them fitting a new lower lateral accelerometer as an appeasement. Albeit, currently I'm like an expectant father waiting for the fault to re materialize after the 10+ faults previously experienced flashing on the dash stating SUSPESION FAULT LEAN WHEN CORNERING!! Don't get me wrong Tom is a really nice, helpful and approachable guy trying to earn a living, but my advise would be to buy a push bike as cars bring nothing but grief especially when they've got more fault sensors than a dogs nose. LOL. Thanks Tom for putting up with me. 5months and 29 day and counting!!
I recently brought a car from Fairview Autos, and I can’t recommend the garage enough! Maria was friendly, and helpful, with no sales chat at all. She was, just happy to help me view the car I was interested in! I took it for a test drive, loved it, and got agreed a good price! Totally stress free. When I found the seat had a fault, and called regarding it, I was told to bring it straight in for the mechanic to sort out, which he did. (He was lovely too) very relieved and happy to of finally found a good, trustworthy, friendly car dealer! Will use again for sure!!

I have bought and sold cars through Fairview Autos , good honest and not pushy. Would highly recommend.
I have had a few Volvos but this one from Fairview Autos is definitely the best. I bought it in May and I have had no issues up to now! The car was a really good price and I am really happy with it. The woman who was dealing with me was amazing, she came to the garage out of hours on a Friday night so that I could come and collect it. I am so pleased. I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone.
