I recently took my vehicle to this garage for a full service and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and professional. They thoroughly checked my vehicle and identified any issues that needed attention. The service was completed in a timely manner and at a fair price. I also appreciated the detailed explanation of the work that was done. I will definitely be returning to this garage for all of my vehicle needs and would highly recommend them to others.

I took my car for its mot repairs at the Family Car Centre after giving me a quote before leaving my car with them i double checked the price quoted and was told dont worry it wont be any more if you pay cash they took my number incase of any problems. 4 hours later i collected my car to be told i have to pay more than the quote because they had to buy an extra part . After asking them why they didnt phone me first to proceed i just got a shrug of shoulders. i was then surrounded by 3 workers to feel intimidated one worker became rude and told me if i dont pay up they will put the old part back on and not give me the mot certificate knowing i can not drive my car out of there. After telling them i only drew out enough cash to cover the quote so i would have to pay by card they still had the cheek to ask for the cash and the extra to be paid by card . Needless to say they have lost a valued customer and recommendations from myself

The Family Car Centre are absolutely appalling. Took my car in for a MOT and it come out with a broken clutch. First of all said it was already like it, then story changed to ‘it could have been done when I put it on the runners’ then back to ‘it was already like it’ didn’t want to help at all just wanted to give me a price for a new clutch! Rude as hell, sarcastic and BROKE my car seat tilt handles id taken in to be changed. Walked off when confronted. STAY AWAY!!!

I had work done at the Family Car Centre after mot fail .had problem months later only to be told work had never been done. was told that the garage was still trading under the same name but under new ownership..had to pay for work again to make car safe..if you choose to use this company be very careful...next step going to seek legal advise.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE FAMILY CAR CENTRE, THEY DO NOT HONOUR WARRANTIES, THEY PRETEND THEY ARE MEMBERS OF THE GOOD GARAGE SCHEME, WHICH THEY ARE NOT AND HAVEN'T BEEN SINCE 2012. THEY ARE GOOD LIARS, TERRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. HENCE I AM HAVING TO TAKE THEM TO COURT.
