As previously said before the after sales service at FG Cars Loughborough is an absolute joke! We have chased these people as log book hasn't arrived. Told to wait 6 weeks. Phoned again after taking advice from the DVLA who advised that the vehicle was still registered to the garage. Again told we must wait for 6 weeks - even though we are now in week 8! We were told they would look into it and would ring back. No phone call back - no surprise there! When we called back yet again we were still told we needed to wait! Absolute joke when another log book took 3 days to arrive.

DO NOT USE FG CARS LOUGHBOROUGH! On 22nd May we purchased a Peugeot 308, we part exchanged our car for the same value as the Peugeot and paid a refundable £200 deposit. On 18th June we broke down on a dual carriageway, with our 2 year old boy in the car, on the hottest day of the year. We called FG Cars to explain the problem, and express our concerns as we had only had the car 27 days. We were hoping that as it hadn't even been one month, our car would be under warranty. We were quickly told that this is not always the case and somebody would have to call us back the following day to discuss it further. At this point, we were only asking for our car, which had a mechanical fault (cylinder 1 injector was faulty) to be fixed under warranty, and out of courtesy of having the car less than 1 month and the trauma of being stranded for over 7 hours. The next day, the after care sales manager called us, and told us we were not covered under any warranty and we would have to pay for our car to be recovered back to FG Cars. I decided to do some research and find out my rights, after speaking with citizens advice, I was informed under the consumer rights act 2015, I was entitled to 3 options, to allow them to do the work free of charge and repair the car, to ask for our old car back if it had not yet been sold, or finally a full refund. Having Kieran (the supposed aftercare manager) speak to me in such a rude, intimidating and dismissive manor, I felt I was left with no choice but to ask for a refund. I had lost all trust in this company and felt like they were avoiding all responsibility at all costs! I called Kieran back to explain that I would like a full refund and he said he would call trading standards as he does not agree that I am entitled to it. He called me back shortly after and said unfortunately on this occasion, I was not entitled to a refund. He was reluctant to tell me why and how this was possible, but in the end said it was due to having not paid any cash towards the car. I reminded him of the £200 deposit we paid, and asked him if he shared this information with trading standards, to which he replied "No I didn't!", he had omitted vital information when speaking with them. After 2 more calls to citizens advice who were quite concerned with the information FG cars were giving me, they decided to ring trading standards themselves to share what was going on. Eventually, FG Cars arranged for the car to be collected and taken back to them for further investigation. This was not without an email claiming that if they find the car to have no fault or it is due to driver fault we will be liable to pay for the recovery and the work needed on the car! Due to the lack of trust I now had, I felt I could not allow them to see the car in THEIR OWN garage (which to this day they still claim is independent to them, however the owner of FG cars also owns the garage) without an independent garage seeing it first and confirming that the fault was mechanical and they could not accuse me of being at fault. I had asked Kieran on several occasions, if the car was found to have a mechanical fault as I already knew, would FG Cars be happy to refund the money that I am legally entitled to? He refused point blank to answer this question. Once the car had arrived at FG Cars, they told me I would have to wait until the next day to hear the outcome. The next day came and I tried for over 2 hours to call FG Cars with no success, I eventually got through to Tim who just like Kieran would not answer any questions as to whether they would give us our refund or not. We were asked to go into the garage and told the car was fixed now. Upon arrival, Tim tried to encourage us to take the car back. This was not an option when a mechanic had advised us that 'faulty wiring' had been used on the car to shortcut the job! We continued to tell them that they are not allowed to restrict our rights and eventually got a refund! They then deducted £20 for a valet on the car, which was not only unfair, it was just a true reflection of there desperate need for money. This has been a stressful 3 days and I urge you to use any other garage than this one, unless you are after a faulty and unsafe vehicle which they will bully you in to keeping! I am so glad I no longer have to deal with these bullies again!!

No major issues with my Suzuki Swift from FG Cars. I have had it for a while now. It was in good condition when I received it and the dealers have been quite helpful. They have a good choice of cars and I would recommend them.

I purchased a BMW Z4 from this garage - this was sold with an MOT they performed on-site on the morning of the purchase. Within a few months a number of problems presented themselves - I took the car to 2 independent garages who said there was no way this vehicle could have passed an MOT 3 months prior. This was the list of items that were so damaged and dangerous they needed replacing immediately : BRAKE REACTION BUSHES N/S/R SPRING REAR BRAKE DISCS, PADS & SENSOR REAR BRAKE PIPES ROCKER COVER GASKET Not only should it not have passed, none of these serious faults were mentioned or flagged on the MOT certificate. Both deemed the certificate fraudulent. The manager was never available or returned calls, the staff both myself and my partner spoke to were incredibly rude, off hand and arrogant. FG Cars denied the garage that undertook the work was linked to them (it shares the same site and they got my car in immediately when I turned up) and any wrongdoing. They said they'd only look at the car, which was too dangerous for me to drive, if I paid for a tow truck to return the car to them approx 70 miles away. FG Cars refused my suggestion of a neutral local garage giving an independent review of the state of the car (i.e. not their garage who had already been fraudulent they wanted it to go to). Looking at reviews for Loughborough Cars , now renamed FG cars , they have lots of examples of shocking reviews, citing appalling and negligent service. Most recently 5 star reviews seemed to have appeared without any commentary - don't be fooled. The reviews made it clear that the garage would not remedy this if I returned the car for them to check and I would incur further expense. I thought going to a garage with a physical presence was safer than Joe Bloggs from the internet but I was left with a £1000 bill in order to drive the car. This garage is run by scam artists and I implore you to look elsewhere for your car, or risk being sold an car that's unroadworthy or dangerous.

My stepson recently purchased a vehicle from FG Cars and initially was pleased with his purchase. However it soon became apparent something was not right with the front of the car. The bonnet to bumper panel fit on the nearside was such that the bonnet seemed to be too high, we also noticed that both front wings and front bumper were a different colour shade to the rest of the car. A few days later he decided to visit a local reputable bodyshop to find out how much it would cost to put things right. He was in for quite a shock when the inspector told him the vehicle had suffered a heavy frontal impact which had been poorly repaired using non genuine parts. To make matters worse the chassis member was cracked and front vertical panel severely distorted. In the event of a head on collision or collision on the driver's side of the car there would be little or no protection for the driver and front passenger. Upon contacting FG Cars, and after several attempts to speak to someone in authority, eventually it was agreed he could return the car for a refund. However he would have to pay £400 for the time he had used the car together with an "admin fee" of another £120. This he reluctantly agreed to as he wanted to be rid of a dangerous car. The car was returned and after some verbal ping pong over mileage and missing car jack, tools and service books which had not been supplied at hand over, despite the garage insisting they had, a refund was issued and has been received at his bank. The car was put back on the sales pitch and website in the same condition within 24 hours! These people obviously have few morals and have no regard for the safety of vehicles they sell.

Purchased a car costing over £4000 from this dodgy garage. Surprised made it back to my home without a blowout on motorway with the tyres on the car. Al can be very rude if he doesn't like you calling out his salesman patter. Have a feeling that this is going to be a costly mistake. Don't be fooled by shiny cars and a shiny showroom at FG Cars Loughborough.

Very happy with the car I bought. Excellent professionalism and services from the team at F G Cars. Very clean showroom, great selection of cars and a coffee/kids play area to sit whilst pondering over the sale. Would highly recommended F G Cars to friends and family. I will personally use them again in the future when making another car purchase.
Such an amazing service and the whole team at FG Cars Loughborough is lovely and welcoming.
We phoned FG Cars today to ask if a car we had seen online was still for sale. We phoned twice once an hour before...on both occasions we were assured that the said car was still for sale. We traveled 50 miles to their showroom...on arrival we were informed that the said car had been sold the day before !! I suspect they just tried to get us to view their other cars. I would never go there again..they inspired as dealers no confidence whatsoever.
Viewed car online and phoned dealer to confirm condition of vehicle, I was assured the car was 100%, with no issues and a full years MOT. Arrived and car looked ok and indeed had a years MOT. Took if for a test drive with the salesman Mat Bosworth. Anyway car seemed ok... I paid the £17,500 for the vehicle. However on my way home (200 Miles), The vehicle started to make a noise from the front and there was a vibration from the steering. I managed to get off the motorway but the front suspension collapsed as I went off the slip road and veered into the barrier. I have spoken to the owner of the garage and he was very abusive. FG Cars won’t answer my emails or phone calls, I have now had the car assessed and it has been in an accident previously and sub standard repairs carried out by FG Cars. Having investigated further it appears that FG Cars are regularly purchasing non declared accident damaged vehicles , doing quick repairs and selling the cars on at what appears to be a good price. They also use their own garage to MOT these vehicles. I have informed trading standards and my insurance company are going to pursue them, A legal case will also be raised.
