We were very satisfied with the whole process of buying our new car from First4Car. The whole process was hassle free from start to finish, and we greatly appreciated not been hassled on the forecourt from when we arrived. The fact we arrived and were left alone and that we had to come and ask for help is what made the process easy for us as this is what we prefer. We visited numerous local dealerships and within ten minutes or so of been on the forecourt at these other locations we were been followed around by salesmen. Dealing with Ben from First4Car is one of the best customer service experiences we have had, his knowledge and how he conducted himself throughout was professional and friendly. At no point did we feel we were being forced into buying the vehicle, at no point did we feel like we were been misled or misinformed just to secure the sale. Thank you for your patience with us and we made numerous phone calls which can be annoying but Ben and other staff members who answered assisted us right from the outset and were brilliant, Ben is an asset to the company. We’ve recommended you guys to family and friends based on our experience and we’ll be returning whenever the time comes to get a new car, but we’re happy with our purchase 👍🏻! The dealership has a nice look and feel to it too, it just seems the right place to go to for a car!

Bought a car 3 weeks ago. Knocking noise coming from car and put car on the ramp to check out noise. To my shock I found a lot of damage under the car and behind the bumper. Car had obviously been in a bad smash but the repair job was disgraceful. Company said they know nothing about any damage even though when you check under car it sticks out a mile. Phoned up and asked for Ben the salesman and got passes on to customer service who are not interested. Basically tough no warranty . Keep clear from this company as they must be buying damaged cars and repairing them to sell on to the public

All our vehicles are checked using the industry standard of HPI and Motorcheck. Your vehicle is clear on both counts. Your car had a PDI with our technicians as well as an MOT (with no advisories) at an independent MOT station. You viewed and test drove the car yourself, so the malaligned door as is shown on your video would have been obvious to you prior to purchase. Unfortunately as you are using the car as a taxi, whilst you have only had the car for 3 weeks you have travelled over 3100 miles in that time. From your correspondence and video, despite you denying this is a taxi the car is displaying taxi badges, therefore it must have been through the Scottish local council taxi test which will have been very thorough. If the car had damage at that point this damage would have been picked up on. Whilst we don't like to hear of any customer upset we don't feel there is any garage that would be able to cover the cost of repair when damage has occurred following purchase. I am sorry we are not able to help any further.

I have driven past First4Car many times over the years but have never before called in to their premises. They had a car for sale that I was looking for and so I called in without an appointment. I was greeted by Ben who was friendly and helpful. He explained that the car I was enquiring about had only just arrived with them and was in their workshop being prepared, he invited me to have a look at it although it clearly wasn't showroom ready. The car was exactly what I was looking for so I arranged to visit again in a couple of days for a test drive. On my next visit Ben took a copy of my driving licence and then handed me the key to the car. Being local I knew the area and took the car on a drive so I could see how it performed over a variety of road types. At the end of the test drive I was happy with the car, went through a number of questions with Ben and then agreed to buy, I paid the £500 deposit by Debit Card and we agreed a collection date. The car was prepared to a very high standard, had a full 12 month MOT and I was completely happy with the way it had been made to look when I picked it up. Over the weekend as I was learning all about the car I noticed in the service record that the rear brakes should be inspected within the next 100 miles. I contacted Ben and we agreed a day the following week when I could bring in the car to be looked at. I spoke with the mechanic who was extremely helpful and informative, he advised that the rear pads were indeed very worn and so he had ordered and fitted replacements immediately, without charge to myself. Each time I visited First4Car they were very busy, they have lots of staff for a small outfit but everyone I met was helpful and engaging. They obviously turnover lots of cars and they have 5* ratings on Google which inspires confidence. I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending them or indeed buying another car from them.
