Boyd Craig from Formula One Car Centre Limited in response to shocking service
We have plenty of small Automatics in stock, maybe if you had explained to peter on the telephone that you were looking for a small engine size due to insurance for your daughter and had a small budget in place he would have been able to tell you exactly what we had available. I apologise that you feel you had a wasted trip. All the best.
First of all the car I wanted and that I asked for wasn’t available and didn’t find this out until the paper work for finance was sent through, failed mot on brakes, got car with a passed mot and the brakes were still not done properly, got a courtesy car while this was fixed along with another few things that weren’t right and the only thing that came back fixed was the brakes, I left a bank card in the courtesy car and called for it to be sent out to me and it still hasn’t been, from start to finish the place is a shambles, passing a car with faulty brakes and selling it to someone is the lowest of the low, I have young children that have to be in the car! Shocking

Boyd Craig from Formula One Car Centre Limited in response to Service was poor from start to finish!
I apologise you experienced issues with your vehicle. I'm glad we were able to resolve them in a timely manner under your warranty. I believe you left your bank card in the courtesy car and that we posted it out to you. All the best.
Made a pleasant trip north on the train to view a Jimny, having just missed out on a newer model of theirs I'd seen online, which they'd sold the day previous. The salesman George was accommodating and offered a good trade-in, though having done my research I knew rather more about older Jimnys than he. I thus declined the vehicle pending a later model, which left the issue of the holding deposit (or reserve... the distinction is worth clarifying). As this was not refunded on the card on the day this was a concern, but a cheque arrived the week after George's assurance... so a question of meeting people halfway I guess.

Thanks for your feedback
Bought a car from the Falkirk branch excellent service Grant the guy that took us through the process step by step great guy would defo recommend so happy with all from start to actually getting my new car within days Thanks Grant 👍
you get a warm welcome from the sales team ,,(BUT) if the dealer tells you that your deposit is refundable,,, it is not dont believe them,,,if you change your mind ,and dont take the finance, on offer ,at an interest rate of 19% because you think its to high ,and dont go through with the deal they keep your deposit, dont believe the dealer that your deposit is refundable, unless the are prepared to put that in writing on your deposit receipt,, it was not a holding deposit on the car... ,it was a deposit toward the finace to see what the finance company figures came back at ,,,,finace figure came back highier diffrent price, than the car was priced at ,the dealers ,and beware , ,if you deal with this company ,

Absolutely the worst garage I’ve ever dealt with . Was about to spend £20000 on a second hand jeep . I spoke to Boyd on the phone who when I asked if there were any visible marks on the body work was told no it’s absolutely spotless. I then put down a £500 deposit for the jeep and was told that it would be going into the workshop to be checked over . Boyd then emailed to say the car was ready to which I replied I wanted to have it checked over by the AA . Was told this would be fine but on arrival the AA inspector was not allowed on site to check the car . I was then told I could have it checked over by anyone but the AA . So I sent the rac at a cost of £300 to me to check the car . In there report showed multiple large scratches on the vehicle signs of bad paint repair with overspray on inside of car . And 3 of the tyres were showing uneven wear . So not exactly as described to me on the phone . When I asked for my deposit back was only given back half and the other half would be kept on hold if I wanted another vehicle.. no chance I’d trust these guys again .beware and definitely have it checked over if your stupid enough to buy a motor from these guys . Read the reviews you’ll do well to find a good one .

PLEASE READ ⛔⛔⛔🚫🚫🚫❌❌❌ Where to start! Bought a Mercedes c63 from these crooks, had the car checked after 6 days, was told is needed a timing chain and mileage wasn't genuine. Tried to return the car to the dealer, they refused to give me my money back! Asked them to fix the car as it came with a 30 day warranty, was told the timing chain was wear and tear and their warranty didn't cover the repair. Dealt with a guy called Paul, the general manager. If you are reading this Paul, everything that goes wrong with any used car is wear and tear pal 👍🏿it was just a way for them to get out of paying for the repair. Do not use these guys, they do not check their cars before they sell them, they buy them in and just sell them on with no checks, so it's a total hit or miss buying a car from here. Obviously some happy customers but they were just lucky. Ended up owning the car for 4 weeks and selling it to we buy any car, lost £3000 on the car by doing this. I'm sure Paul and his team will reply to this review with some sort of reply to try and soften the impact of this review so anyone reading this please be wise. Paul - general manager, takes your money and doesn't give you it back and tries to lie his way out of it, saying it's wear and tear! George - sales man, actually a nice guy but sells faulty cars nonetheless. Lee - owner, just as bad as Paul, but let's Paul do his dirty work so he doesn't have to get involved. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE!!

Paul Cowan from Formula One Car Centre Limited in response to DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE
Dear Steven As with any member of the public you are entitled to review the service you received. However I am disappointed that you chose to do so in the manner that you did. As such I must clarify some of your points so that other potential customers can have some balance and factual information, so I will happily address your points. You claim that the mileage wasn't genuine and part of your reasoning was that the car had no service history. This statement is false as the car actually had full Mercedes history stored in the cars computer which I printed out for you. The mileage was in fact proven to be accurate. Had you provided factual proof then we would have had cause for concern however you backed this allegation down when presented with the printed evidence. You told me in a conversation that a main "Mercedes dealership in Edinburgh" had carried out a "Full inspection report" and that they advised that the timing chain was noisy. It turned out during my investigation that it was in fact your mate with a laptop that was advising you and that no such dealer inspection had taken place. I must strongly disagree with your statement that "everything that goes wrong with any used car is wear and tear pal". Things can break or fail, this is why we give and stand by our warranty. Its just that the information that you supplied was either false, fabricated or came from your mate and could not be backed up after we inspected the car. All of our cars, including yours, are sold with a fresh independent MOT and a full 87 point PDi inspection. This is a fact that we provide on every purchase. Your statement that we do not check our cars is obviously another false claim to make your review as negative as possible. When we are faced with any complaint we must establish the facts. When we presented with main dealer reports and then find them to be false we have a right to reject the complaint. I am sure that when people read this they will apply common sense. If we sold you faulty goods then we would be obliged to take the car back. We even offered you the opportunity to exchange he car for another however you chose not to. The choice to sell the car, if that is true, was your own. I stand by my decisions as they are based on facts, obligation and experienced judgement however when someone is found to be giving false and misleading information we will reject their complaint. You and I discussed all of the above in detail and I presented you with the facts before you withdrew your complaint and collected the car. I am proud of the service that we provide and the high standards that we set for our products and services. Customers are free to have inspections before they buy our cars and sensible enough to make up their own minds without relying on fabricated negative statements. If any potential or existing customer wishes to contact me to discuss any concerns either before or after a purchase I am happy to offer my time. Kind Regards Paul Cowan General Manager

Nothing I've said is untrue Paul. Timing chain needed replaced, you didn't replace it. Take your lies somewhere else. I just hope people see sense and don't buy from your dealerships.
Paul Cowan from Formula One Car Centre Limited in response to DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE
Just a question I forgot to address in my previous response. When you sold the car to WE BY ANY CAR, Did you guarantee the mileage ?
Steven Russell in response to DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE
Had to take one of the services you provide me with and rip it up. The one that was 107,000kilomitres. Which is 67,000 miles. The mileage on the car was 62,000 so you can see the discrepancy. If they seen that last service they wouldn't have taken the car as they would have known it was clocked. Tried to sell it to "cash for car" they cane and seen the service and didn't buy it because of that. I've got photo evidence of the service in question and photo evidence of the mileage so can post them if you like? THE CAR WAS CLOCKED AND TIMIMG CHAIN WAS KNACKERED! GET IT IN TO YOUR HEAD AND STOP THE DENIAL! Why would I waste my time writing this review if it wasn't the case Paul? You think I like wasting my time writing reviews? You were out of order and you know it. Please check your records about the services and you will see.
Niall Clark in response to DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE
Hey Steven, I'd a very similar experience with these shower of crooks many years ago. I only wish I had a site like this to research before purchasing a car from them. I had a myriad of issues I had raised within weeks, yet they had maintained that a service and MOT was carried out, an independent inspection would prove otherwise. Their warranties are not worth the paper you wipe your butt with, and looking at other reviews you are not alone. Reading through the positive reviews I would suspect most of them will have been made up by staff and friends of the company. As for myself out of a stroke of good fortune and good luck the POS Audi I purchased from them was wrote off after a car bumped into it so recouped most of my money.
Daughter (19) bought an Audi A3. On her way driving home she had to book a hotel as the car was not safe to drive. In the 85 point check they fitted 2 bulbs along with some other bits and pieces. When she got home I took the car to our local garage and was told the bulbs were just sitting in headlights?? I phoned the salesman (John) and he excused it as “they must of popped out” unbelievable ..they were not easy to fit, but dont believe they were fitted correctly in the first place. That was Formula 1 cars Falkirk leave a 19 year old girl to drive a car that was totally unsafe.
