I purchased a car from here and the next day the engine light came on. I had a month warranty but because I bought car outright they weren’t interested. I managed to get them to have a look at it and next day the light came back on. After that it was a nightmare trying to contact them!! Do you’re self a favour and avoid …especially the guy at high station road!

Excellent customer service from Peter not only in sourcing me the best finance option for me but his people skills were excellent. Kept me right with everything well worth the journey to Falkirk to collect my car. Would recommend Formula One to people looking for new / used car

Shambles of a business, dont know how they actual get away with there approach to selling used cars, we bought a car from here few months back and engine went on it. Contacted these guys to see if they would help with it as it was engine failure and like expected the aftercare was none-existant. Swept it off as "sorry its not under warranty" Clearly already knew that like was stated over the phone but a car bought within 4 months shouldnt have died on us like that. The good reviews on here are the ones that dodged the bullet on there game of russian roulette: used car edition. Wont ever be back :)

couldn't push the car onto us quick enough discovered faults within days, was back umpteen times, cut through part of the engine rather than strip it down properly now refusing to fix car going for an independent report next week will publish for all to see along with their emails and messages. seriously never met more incompetence all in the one place at the one time!!! also my car which I was getting rid of because of the amount of issues was on their forecourt within a week at a ridiculous price George actually told my husband that we were being picky about the damage they caused to the engine considering the car we traded in ......here's the difference George we didn't lie about the state of our car

I had to make over an hour drive to Falkirk to get this looked at so while me and my daughter where there, the sales guy was trying to put us away from the work shop, as they were taking a part of another car to put onto my car and did not want us to see him doing it although we new what he was up too. So the USB port was not working and i had asked him to fix that too, but instead of fixing it they also broke the heated seat switch too so i left with broken heated seat and USB still not working. Then the car had to go for a recall so they came collected it and dropped a car off i could not drive for the week, very unsuitable car must i add. So car went away to get fixed on the recall for the starter motor, i was advised very bog job could take days then found out it takes a few hours so i chased my car up and was advised they were collecting it now, i have it on good accord the car was ready on Monday night and i should have had it back before now, so i had a puncture the car has had this puncture since they dropped it off as i have to keep blowing it up, so go car back tonight and the USB still not working, The heated seat still not working and the tyre still deflating which i had been advised has been fixed, so i call him while my daughter is sat there listening and the sales guy is saying no our guys have fixed it i am advising im actually in the car and it has not, so he starts getting ratty with me tells me i need to take it back up regardless if i want this fixed mind this is over an hour drive each way, and he was not very polite about this, at all as my witness was there listening in dismay, If you want stress or a car thats falling apart go to this place, if you dont please avoid all the stress i have had to endure, i have given up now and i will have to go to an external garage to get this fixed as i have had enough, they nice enough taking your money but please stay away, i have bout many cars with a problem at all this has been summit different

i bought what i thought was a clean navara, only to find rust coming through the the paint , the car had been sprayed for sale. DONT deal with these people

I visited the Falkirk High branch to look at a Honda CRV which was for sale. To be truthful I was initially put off by the negative reviews online but decided to speak to Peter about this. He reassured me that the car would be perfect when I got it and anything that needed to be sorted would be. Give him his due, he kept to his word and I am a very happy customer. Peter was friendly, professional and patient and I am glad I didn't walk away. I addressed the concerns I had about the car before buying, and was realistic and knew it was a second hand car. My advice to any customer is to give this garage a chance, and you might be surprised.

I am not one for making complaints I normally just take it as a lesson learned and never deal with whatever business has done me wrong. Formula 1 Car Supermarket Falkirk I feel they deserve that I no longer take it on the chin and just go away with my tail between my legs. Purchased Audi Q5 for my wife once in a lifetime gift George the salesman as expected very pleasant cash purchase quick commission easy cash cow. Now I did actually leave negative feedback due to non existent aftercare due to just one issue with the car I only complained about just one of a few issues with the car, as it was a second hand car and I never expected it to be pristine. All the pre-delivery boxes were ticked a tick fest. Only thing I asked from them was to supply an owner’s manual, service manual Audio Manual just the basics so my wife would have some idea about the controls etc, waited weeks and never heard a thing so purchased a set on eBay. Then left negative feedback and within an hour of it being posted George was on the phone at the behest of Mr Boyd. George talked me into retracting it and I did after he assured me if I have any issues don’t hesitate to call him yeh whatever. Anyway however things I did not complain about were low oil level, had to purchase Oil, Add Blue complete set of wiper blades and 4 days after the purchase add blue warning light came on and today 22nd Dec after speaking with George and once again deja vu high pressure fuel pump leaking looking at £1000 bill engineer said been leaking for some time and my wife has only done 1100 miles with the car, Said he would see what he could do to help us and would call me on Friday 24th and yes as expected no call. High probability leaking when we purchased the car but unable to prove and obviously Formula 1 will stand by the tick fest on the pre delivery sheet. Moral of this story, Is this is a second hand dealership you get what you pay for also the warranty they will sell you is not worth the paper it is printed on. Called Momentum Warranties they would not cover the fuel pump loophole they used pre existing fault prior to purchase date ironic is it not. Mechanic flabbergasted as to how they came to that conclusion how can they possibly tell when it started to leak. Like most second hand dealers as soon as they have your cash they cant see the back of you quickly enough. Anything you want to buy suggest you get it inspected by the AA or RAC be money well spent if they refuse an Inspection walk away don’t take the pre delivery sheet Formula 1 supply as gospel like I did and let your heart rule the mind. Salesmen are not cowboys but just left with a feeling of not a human being just feel you are commission and nothing more just another punter and get the commission. As a client you are very quickly forgotten about. The amount of negative reports on this site gives me the impression they don’t seem to try and improve as they know clients will just keep coming thru the door… This is when you see the gap between a Car Dealership and a second hand dealer made to feel important and aftercare is way far better than a second hand dealer Maybe hear from George again now… But be wasting his time won’t be retracting this time… So Car Dealership for my next car ok be more expensive but probably include a 2 or 3 year warranty that they wont try and find a loophole to get out of any repairs unlike Momentum have and I am pretty sure the salesman will follow up on my purchase to ask how things are….

Done T-Belt after purchase at own workshop. Now car needs component & its been faulty since purchase.... F1 are this and that....*"
After looking online found a few cars I liked the look of and popped round, after being let in by a guy delivering goods, after over 45 minutes of looking around and still nobody even said hello, went looking for a salesman who had just finished with someone else to be told go to office and if someone there they might help you as I am busy... well I did go but straight out the door. Thought it was maybe just the branch and went up to the other site. Guy just on his own, tells me that they had just sold a jag yesterday and all smug about it, when asked about what I was looking for, waved his hand about saying 1 over there and another a cross the road but never left his seat. If they can't be bothered with common courtesy, I would not like to think what would happen if I had bought a car and had any issues. Took my business elsewhere and looking at other reviews looks like I dodged a bull
Please avoid!! Really wish I’d read reviews before I dealt with these people. Drove 25mi to Falkirk. All seemed well at first spotted a car I really liked and talked it through with salesman who said the car was not long in etc but car looked as if it had been sitting a while, car definitely needed new tyres other scratches etc which he said would be sorted. Told him repeatedly that I’d need to ask a favour from family to get money towards the car. We continued to talk and he took £1000 payment WITHOUT telling me I’d loose my money if I didn’t manage to get the money knowing fine well that I may of not been able to get it or I would of NEVER put money on the car if I knew this. Before phoning to explain I didn’t manage to get the money I was told it had passed it’s MOT (with no advisories I may add even though the tyres were a definite fail and there’s been no MOT since dec 2020) After this I phoned and tried to explain to him I couldn’t get the money to complete the sale (like he already knew may of been a possibility) he told me I’d loose all my money and told me to get finance. Trying to explain the fact I’m on maternity leave and will have no income didn’t even faze him. I’ve been in tears all day and I’m now £1000 down and are no further forward in getting a car. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS BACKSTREET GARAGE!!!!
