recently bought a ford fiesta ST from formula prestige motors, was very pleased with the level of service shown by the garage, with them opening late for me and picking me up from the train station. when I had an issue with the car they took it back to remedy the problem with no issues. will be recommending FPM to my friends and will return for my next car

Sold me a car without power to the 12V cigarette lighter unit. Also had badly corroded suspension which has now been replaced. They forgot to take the £150 deposit from me on the day of sale but with all the issues i had with the car and hassle they had no right to ask me for a back payment but they hassled me for weeks for the money then take it out anyway randomly . it comes up as a transaction on my account. out of the blue. Avoid. They keep your card details obviously so I will now change my bank card as i dont trust Formula Prestige Motors.
Earlier this week, I purchased a BMW 420D Convertible from Formula Prestige Motors. They could not have been more helpful and friendly. No pressure to buy whatsoever, and they spent time explaining various things to me. The price of both the car they were selling and the car that I was part exchanging seemed absolutely fair to me. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this dealership to friends and family and I honestly don't understand why there are several poor reviews here as that was most certainly not my experience.

Purchasing experience at Formula Prestige Motors was a bit mixed. Bought a fantastic VW part converted campervan. Beautifully sprayed and great quality rock and roll bed with matching chairs. Interaction with the garage was great during the exchange. They were more than accommodating and flexible with me. They also received praise via social media when I put a recommendation question out asking if they were legit and fair. Received positive recommendations. However, a few things went wrong pretty soon....only received one key (was told this on the day of purchase. My fault for being naive and assuming their would be two and not confirming this beforehand), the front headlight was out (it was summer so didn’t notice it straight away) the EGR valve needed to be replaced (quite soon after it was purchased and had an MOT in June 2018 and clearly showed up in a diagnostics report which was run by an RAC rescue vehicle while I had sadly broken down on the M6 in August 2018) and today my battery has gone flat which is the second time it’s needed a jump start (October 2018). I am not suggesting this was sold to me intentionally with these faults but it would appear I am one unlucky VW van owner. With all of this, I am still happy I bought it and no doubt would have had to repair/replace the things I’ve mentioned in time. Just a bit of a shock that it’s happened within 6 months of purchase. My own fault for not getting a mechanic to inspect it thoroughly before purchasing it. Think I was blindsided by style over substance. I will be honest I didn’t report any of these issues to the garage as I wasn’t given any warranty and after texting Joe to report the front headlight was out (not to claim for it but just to let him know) and being told it was working when it left, it put me off making contact again. With all it’s ailments, it’s still become a member of the family and it hasn’t put me off buying a similar vehicle in the future.

The dealer seemed really nice before purchasing the car. Been mislead with regards to the mileage of the car and several other aspects. Wish I read reviews before purchasing the car. Had no response after the sale. Car was obviously used whilst it on hold until I could collect it. Very disappointed with the service! The finance provider Close Brothers premium are the same as the dealer. Very poor!

We are complaining about this dealer as we believe we have been totally misled when buying a car, what’s bizarre is his feed back generally wasn’t the best, within a week his feedback has shot up in a positive manner because he has had loads of feedback being added and dated from 2017, onwards a little fishy to me, This dealer also told me he’s the manager of this company (recorded), he is in fact the director but was trying to make it out it wasn’t his company so not to get a claim against him,

We have had really bad service from Formula Prestige Motors, the car we bought was inferior to what we believed, we we misled on several aspects of the sale, sadly the dealer is trying to twist the truth to stop him losing sales, all I can say is please make sure you do your homework on where you purchase your next car
Really poor after sales service at Formula Prestige Motors, in fact horrendous after service. promised a refund then moved the goal posts. formula said the car had a service, I checked back home in Manchster with a garage as the car was sluggish coming home, the state of the filters and oil were appalling, then they said it didnt need one thats why it wasnt done. Wheels were a mess as lacquer coming off, couldnt tell at garage as they were wet and dirty, they agreed to pay towards the job to refurbish them, however they have now renagued on the deal although they agreed on an email that they would pay towards having them refurbished.ha ha they said on an email they would look great as black wheels painted, I had them painted black away from the original finish, now they say they are not paying because they are painted black ! Be very careful these people seem nice up but our experience has been really bad . Warranty, really poor, only would give verbally, then changed what they said.

Hi Phil, Thanks for the review - I totally agree that we moved the goal posts when you called us a few days later to complain about the 'perfect wheels' on your car which you accepted when you viewed the vehicle at our indoor premises. We moved the goal posts because you complained as you were trying to get compensation to have your wheels changed to a total different colour! We soon realised that the car you part exchanged had gloss black wheels and you were just trying to get us to cover the cost of the colour change on your new vehicle's wheels. Regarding the service - it stated on the BMW idrive system that it was not due for another 5,000 miles or 11 months and it was last serviced at BMW so this was not due. We try our best to please everyone and have many happy customers, obviously it's impossible to please everyone and some people are just so deceiving, if you are a future customer and are looking to purchase from us just give me a call and I would be happy to explain and have a good chat about the cars we have in stock and what we can do for you. As soon as Formula Prestige Motors mistakenly thought I may have had a ‘vehicle inspection’ carried out, owners did not want to sell the car to me – told me it was sold; weeks later it was still on sale without the sold tag in view on website? Still on sale now - “things that make you go hmmm”!!!!!
