I purchased a Audi A1 from Forton services. Excellent service, any faults noticed was repaired before collection no problems. As I work throughout the week they even took the time to meet me at the garage on a Sunday for me to test drive it. Smooth handover. Definately recommend.

I wanted to buy a Honda CRV 2006, petrol executive in manual or automatic. I narrowed the search down to two dealers. I worked in Ford used sales at one point and had been on their Auction course and other courses. I looked at their site after finding the car on Ebay. It gives a history of the garage and states they are flexible and straight with you. I knew used cars were going up 6.5% due to Covid 19 and the shortages created. I rang Stuart in sales to state I had been at Ford, I was interested in the car and I was over in Huddersfield. He stated it was still there but customers had viewed it, that they closed earlier that day and the problem was he had to have a Covid 19 vaccination, but would stay as long as 4.15. So I got a lift to the garage and since it was getting close to 4.15pm rang Stuart and was even prepared to leave a deposit and collect another day. He efficiently asked Steve to cover so we could view it properly. Steve explained the history of the car, showed us all round the car. Explained the shown price was the price they had to take due to all the people wanting it. This was not sales talk, it was two people being straight with each other. I bought the car and Steve even gave advice about my friends car who gave me the lift. Fornton Motors also keep checking back with the customer and listen. You will find that dealership staff will lose interest after the documents have been signed. Here you have a garage that sells a wide selection of quality cars, with warranty , with no pushy sales staff and honest customer care. Just say what you can pay, say what you require and you will get the car you need. I found the same when I was in used car sales. The worst way to be is to lie, If you need help choosing a car or finding a deal, The sales staff will help you. Treat them with respect and you will be treated the same. I had a better feeling with Fornton motors. A phone call is a serious sale and how a sales man speaks and reacts to your questions is vital. I went with a good feeling, which was justified. I had also read Parkers guide, only for the model faults. So I knew the car inside out before I stepped in it. Go prepared, know that its a used car and you will find a great car.

Excellent Car shopping experience..... I highly recommend buying a used car from Forton Motors.... I bought a very nice 54 plate Rover 75 CDTI Tourer (Estate) with Full service history from Stuart (& Steve). Being a Rover enthusiast I had been searching for a "good one" for sometime which would last, and I could keep going/enjoy for several years to come. Stuart was even able to accomodate a part ex!!! A full years MOT (no Advisories) was put on the car, and one of the rear tailgate strut was also replaced which had served the car for nearly 17 years.... for me this is above & beyond what seems to be the norm from experience with dealers I've had dealings with in the past. Purchased a car from these scammers Forton motors sun shine for four weeks so didn’t really need to use the wipers then when we came to use them they would work then stop midriff they then fail to work you have to pull over stop the car wait then restart sometimes they would work took the car back said they’re working fine they probably just parked it up in the back waiting for me to collect picked car up today wipers faulty straight away they weren’t interested just said see how you go we purchased for my partner as she’s a key worker it’s not fit for purpose can’t drive any sign of rain I’ve reported to trading standards and card company clause 75 . Stay clear be warned everybody.

Dear Richard Thank you for your review however we wish to correct several facts that you have either omitted or recorded inaccurately. Firstly, you had owned the vehicle for 6 weeks before you reported the fault with the wipers not parking correctly and we asked you to return the vehicle to enable us to investigate your concerns. Whilst you were on our premises you tried for some time to replicate the fault and you became increasingly frustrated when they were working correctly. Eventually the wipers did stop half way across the screen so we agreed to have an auto electrician look into the matter. He was unable to replicate the fault but stated that the reported issue was indicative of the wiper motor beginning to fail. When we reported this to you, you dismissed this idea straight away saying that it was not the motor, rather you wanted the wiper stalk replacing to see if this would cure the fault. We asked you why you thought this and you responded by saying that you had already changed the wiper motor with a second hand unit from Ebay and that you had already changed the relay as well - neither of which you informed us about prior to you returning the vehicle to us! Whilst we have no wish to avoid any obligations we may have towards you following the sale of your vehicle, we can only do this when a fault can be identified and where the customer has been open and upfront with regards to the work that they have already completed on the car.

As to the above Steve firstly when we arrived to drop the car off the wipers were actually at the fault position which Stuart saw they only returned back to the park position when car was turned off and on again. The rear wiper was also doing whatever it wanted we came to pick the car up from you after supposedly being looked at by an auto Electrition for an hour an half we arrived and turned the car on and straight away the fault was there so I filmed this and Stuart was also present at the time when the fault was there and he went on to say it’s not done that all week and it’s intermittent which is a bare face lie . The fault was there when I purchased the car I’ve now repaired both wipers myself and the finding proves it didn’t happen overnight. Shame on you and your garage mechanic for not even repairing the car for a key worker at the time of need your customer service is sham along with the warranty and I’m still waiting for the full purchase price invoice from you which I’ve asked for now the seventh time.
We had previously bought two vehicles from Forton motors. Both times we received outstanding customer service, it was reliable as they helped with crossing the T's and dotting the I's as well as down to earth service. We have just bought a Vauxhall Astra from this establishment and their service hasn't changed. We are thankful for their help and for selling us a very reliable set of four wheels.
Would recommend Forton Motors, just purchased a first car for my daughter, Stuart made it very easy, not at all pushy, will definitely return next time I am looking for a vehicle.

After leaving school in 1980 serving an apprenticeship as a BMW mechanic , this giving a very good knowledge of our vehicles that we sell to our customers.
