We have bought 2 vehicles from this hero over the last 6 months, 1st car had a few niddles with it and put them right at our own cost because it wasn’t worth the hassle content. Car 2 only done 104 miles car wouldn’t start so rang Stuart said he wouldn’t come out to get it started, as we only live 2 miles from the garage we thought it was a bit harse it turned out that the battery was u/s after we had to call the AA out rang Stuart again regarding the battery and was told.. we will supply you one at trade price and was’nt really bothered about my protests about customer care... end product there’s no customer care at Forton motors whatsoever!! So not bothered about trading standards..?we only live 2 miles away so word of mouth to all the locals will do enough damage to them and there useless reputation. Have fun guys!!

I've just bought a VW Tiguan R Line from Forton Motors and I love it. I can't praise them enough for their customer service as they helped me pick the perfect car based on what I was looking for. I cannot stop smiling after my purchase/choice. Lovely showroom with a great range of cars to choose from with really helpful staff. I highly recommend.

Well from the moment I stepped onto the forecourt looking to part exchange my Hyundai I was met by the owner Steve who said have a look around I’m in that office just there should you have any questions (not pestered at all). We did a deal on a 4WD but after a couple of days I realised it wasn’t for me and to my surprise Steve was up for doing a deal which worked well for me. I requested a tow bar be fitted and Steve said shop around and get a few prices as he knew a tow bar fitter who in the end I used as price was competitive with quotes I had got myself. Steve allowed me the use of the 4WD for a week at no extra cost. I can say with honesty I found the experience great and wonderful to get attention when I wanted it good old fashioned customer service. When Steve wasn’t available his back up Stewart was knowledgeable and obviously kept informed by Steve as to what was going on on a day to day basis. 10 out of 10 guys I’m really pleased with the Jaguar and even more pleased to have received a call 4 days after my purchase asking if all was ok and I was happy, WHICH I AM. Highly recommend Forton Motors

MOT no advisories. So many faults after purchase, Took for re-mot, needed new front discs and pads, Rear brakes binding owing to holding pins being inserted incorectly. Passenger link harm lose, rubbers perished no grease. part roof rail missing, rear wiper cap missing, wheel badge missing, Told to source he would pay. still waiting. said it is not is problem, if people go on forecourt when closed and take things of his cars, my problem not his, aircon needed regassing waiting to see if it leaks. cost £80.00 still waiting for payment again not his fault,what did i expect for a 10 year old car. stated in ebay advert car had heated seats when i explained it hadn't again my fault i should have checked. good with words Bull s... comes to mind, very arrogant and rude when confronted with anything wrong, it is always the purchases fault. I do not understand why when you purchase faulty goods you can get a replacement or a refund, although the trading standards and consumer wrights state you have rights to a full refund or repairs./ Yet he gets away with it. do not be misled by all the good reviews, take a long look at all of them as they tend to be worded similar. Please please take note of the bad ones. if i could give a minus star i would. MOT IS NOW IN THE HANDS OF VOSA. ALSO TRADING STANDARDS ARE GETTING A FULL REPORT TODAY. I HAVE PHOTOS TO PROVE ALL FAULTS. BEWARE BEWARE STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER DECENT GARAGES OUT THERE.

The same for myself. They told me new front disks had been fitted, they hadn't. They were unsafe and I paid to have them replaced, the gearbox/clutch is faulty, the stop start doesn't work. I've sent multiple emails which they say they never received (I have proof they did). I sent a recorded delivery letter of complaint which they signed for with an "X". They have constantly lied in their response to my complaint on here. My case is now with trading standards and I shall publish the outcome nationwide. Seriously, avoid this place at all costs.
I was unfortunate enough to buy a car from here. The morning after I purchased the car it would'nt go into gear until fully warmed up and even then it struggled to go into reverse. The stop/start function did'nt work either. Despite repeatedly contacting Forton Motors they completely ignored my complaints including emails and a recorded delivery letter giving them 14 days notice to contact me. Still nothing! The case is now with Trading Standards. Don't be deceived by the 'recent' good reviews that have suddenly appeared. Take a look down the list to see what this company is all about.

In response to Forton Motors reply. You know who I am. The car I bought was a fiat 500 twinair plus. You are lying about me not contacting yourselves (I have the proof). I'm not the only person who has had terrible trouble with this garage. Scroll down past the good reviews that all appear to have similar wording and many havent even confirmed their email addresses, and you will then see the 'real' reviews from unhappy customers. Trading Standards are on to them.
Bought a car from here. The next morning I noticed it was difficult getting it into reverse gear and the problem has worsened. The 'stop/start' function on the engine is broken too. Despite being assured the front brake disks had been replaced, they haven't. The three month warranty only covers repairs up to £250 which is laughable and is managed by an external insurance company. The reason reverse gear is problematic is because the clutch is at fault but isnt covered by the useless warranty. The broken stop/start function is either due to a weak battery or a faulty module which costs £200 to replace and isnt covered by the warranty. The car was advertised as being in "excellent condition" which it obviously isn't. The company haven't responded to my emails I sent via their website. Trading standards have been informed and legal advice is being sought.

I have almost exactly the same problem with them. Bought a car in "excellent condition", fault developed, they direct me to warranty, warranty covers next to nothing. Really fishy salesmen... Be aware the warranty they provide does not remove your right as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where the vehicle should be fit for purpose when you buy it. Opening a court case against them now followed by some legal advice. Do not let it go! Fight for your rights.

After leaving school in 1980 serving an apprenticeship as a BMW mechanic , this giving a very good knowledge of our vehicles that we sell to our customers. Starting at our first premises in 1987 building a good reputation, as our business expanded we had to relocate. In 2003 we moved to our present larger premises.
