Purchased a car from these scammers Forton motors sun shine for four weeks so didn’t really need to use the wipers then when we came to use them they would work then stop midriff they then fail to work you have to pull over stop the car wait then restart sometimes they would work took the car back said they’re working fine they probably just parked it up in the back waiting for me to collect picked car up today wipers faulty straight away they weren’t interested just said see how you go we purchased for my partner as she’s a key worker it’s not fit for purpose can’t drive any sign of rain I’ve reported to trading standards and card company clause 75 . Stay clear be warned everybody.

Thank you for your review however we wish to correct several facts that you have either omitted or recorded inaccurately. Firstly, you had owned the vehicle for 6 weeks before you reported the fault with the wipers not parking correctly and we asked you to return the vehicle to enable us to investigate your concerns. Whilst you were on our premises you tried for some time to replicate the fault and you became increasingly frustrated when they were working correctly. Eventually the wipers did stop half way across the screen so we agreed to have an auto electrician look into the matter. He was unable to replicate the fault but stated that the reported issue was indicative of the wiper motor beginning to fail. When we reported this to you, you dismissed this idea straight away saying that it was not the motor, rather you wanted the wiper stalk replacing to see if this would cure the fault. We asked you why you thought this and you responded by saying that you had already changed the wiper motor with a second hand unit from Ebay and that you had already changed the relay as well - neither of which you informed us about prior to you returning the vehicle to us!
Whilst we have no wish to avoid any obligations we may have towards you following the sale of your vehicle, we can only do this when a fault can be identified and where the customer has been open and upfront with regards to the work that they have already completed on the car.

As to the above Steve firstly when we arrived to drop the car off the wipers were actually at the fault position which Stuart saw they only returned back to the park position when car was turned off and on again. The rear wiper was also doing whatever it wanted we came to pick the car up from you after supposedly being looked at by an auto Electrition for an hour an half we arrived and turned the car on and straight away the fault was there so I filmed this and Stuart was also present at the time when the fault was there and he went on to say it’s not done that all week and it’s intermittent which is a bare face lie . The fault was there when I purchased the car I’ve now repaired both wipers myself and the finding proves it didn’t happen overnight. Shame on you and your garage mechanic for not even repairing the car for a key worker at the time of need your customer service is sham along with the warranty and I’m still waiting for the full purchase price invoice from you which I’ve asked for now the seventh time.

We had previously bought two vehicles from Forton motors. Both times we received outstanding customer service, it was reliable as they helped with crossing the T's and dotting the I's as well as down to earth service. We have just bought a Vauxhall Astra from this establishment and their service hasn't changed. We are thankful for their help and for selling us a very reliable set of four wheels.

We have bought 2 vehicles from this hero over the last 6 months, 1st car had a few niddles with it and put them right at our own cost because it wasn’t worth the hassle content. Car 2 only done 104 miles car wouldn’t start so rang Stuart said he wouldn’t come out to get it started, as we only live 2 miles from the garage we thought it was a bit harse it turned out that the battery was u/s after we had to call the AA out rang Stuart again regarding the battery and was told.. we will supply you one at trade price and was’nt really bothered about my protests about customer care... end product there’s no customer care at Forton motors whatsoever!! So not bothered about trading standards..?we only live 2 miles away so word of mouth to all the locals will do enough damage to them and there useless reputation. Have fun guys!!

I've just bought a VW Tiguan R Line from Forton Motors and I love it. I can't praise them enough for their customer service as they helped me pick the perfect car based on what I was looking for. I cannot stop smiling after my purchase/choice. Lovely showroom with a great range of cars to choose from with really helpful staff. I highly recommend.

"Part Exchanged my Hyundai for Jaguar"

Well from the moment I stepped onto the forecourt looking to part exchange my Hyundai I was met by the owner Steve who said have a look around I’m in that office just there should you have any questions (not pestered at all). We did a deal on a 4WD but after a couple of days I realised it wasn’t for me and to my surprise Steve was up for doing a deal which worked well for me. I requested a tow bar be fitted and Steve said shop around and get a few prices as he knew a tow bar fitter who in the end I used as price was competitive with quotes I had got myself. Steve allowed me the use of the 4WD for a week at no extra cost.
I can say with honesty I found the experience great and wonderful to get attention when I wanted it good old fashioned customer service. When Steve wasn’t available his back up Stewart was knowledgeable and obviously kept informed by Steve as to what was going on on a day to day basis. 10 out of 10 guys I’m really pleased with the Jaguar and even more pleased to have received a call 4 days after my purchase asking if all was ok and I was happy, WHICH I AM. Highly recommend Forton Motors
