Arranged to pick up car Saturday am. Was ready and in tip top condition. They were happy to explain all aspects of car and to tax online for me.
Recently been into Forton Motors as thinking of changing my current vehicle. My last 4 cars including my current one, have been supplied by them. I’ve had no problems with any of them, and any queries or issues I’ve had (which have only ever been minor), have been dealt with efficiently. They are currently sourcing my next vehicle for me, and they were very helpful. Would definitely recommend
Recently bought my first car from Forton Motors and was very impressed with the whole experience. Extremely helpful and attentive throughout. I had a slight delay with the car due to the transfer of private number plates, however this was nothing to do with the garage and they were very understanding and helpful in sorting it out as quickly as possible for me. The car was exactly as described and I am more than pleased with it. I would definitely recommend Stuart and Steve from the garage, in particular Stuart who has dealt with the purchase and was a pleasure to do business with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Forton Motors to anyone thinking of purchasing a car. It can be a daunting experience but not here. Thanks again to both of you and hope you enjoyed the mince pies! I will be back when the time comes to change my car again although this may not be for a while as I love the car so much!
Review title says everything. What an arrogant, unfriendly bunch. Customer Service Excellence? This dealer has not heard of it. Most certainly can not recommend Forton Motors.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS in response to Arrogant. Unprofessional. Unhelpful.
The same for myself. They told me new front disks had been fitted, they hadn't. They were unsafe and I paid to have them replaced, the gearbox/clutch is faulty, the stop start doesn't work. I've sent multiple emails which they say they never received (I have proof they did). I sent a recorded delivery letter of complaint which they signed for with an "X". They have constantly lied in their response to my complaint on here. My case is now with trading standards and I shall publish the outcome nationwide. Seriously, avoid this place at all costs.
I'v had a car, bought from Forton Motors, a little over a month. I can't use it now, due to a fault. I am now being told that they do not offer any after sales service, are not responsible for the faults the car was sold with and will not help or even discuss the matter further.

We are sorry that you had a problem with your car, after 2000 miles / 4 weeks you phoned to say you felt a loss of power, because you live 130 miles away we agreed for you to take to a garage of your choice, we paid for repair. we were then contacted by you to say the car was still the same so we arranged for your car to be collected from you and relayed to another garage, you refused this ! We do our best to look after our customers and their cars however unfortunately some cars that are over 10 years old and coverd well over 100,000 miles can sometimes show faults, again we did our best to help.
Forton Motors is a family run business situated between Preston and Lancaster. We are 3 minutes from Junction 33, M6 Motorway. With over 30 years experience in the Motor industry. After leaving school in 1980 serving an apprenticeship as a BMW mechanic , this giving a very good knowledge of our vehicles that we sell to our customers. Starting at our first premises in 1987 building a good reputation, as our business expanded we had to relocate. In 2003 we moved to our present larger premises.
We sell a variety of vehicles including diesel cars, family hatchbacks, MPV's, 4x4's and motor homes. We have a wide range of vehicles to suit all budgets. We offer excellent customer service and pride ourselves on our vehicles that we sell regardless of price. Our vehicles are competitively priced as we do not have huge overheads.
At Forton Motors you will not be hassled by pushy sales staff. You will simply be assisted by myself or loyal staff who have been employed by us for approx 13 years. All our vehicles are valeted to a very high standard. We can arrange delivery of your vehicle and offer a wide range of warranties.
We can help with finance and offer competitive finance packages (subject to status). Our finance is straight talking without confusing customers into something they do not require. We are happy to consider part exchange and welcome any vehicles including motorbikes, motor homes and caravans.
