They don't have a correct vat number on there sales forms the company says its been trading years but have only just gone onto company house. Hiding something. Keep away buy a car from any where else but here. Forton Motors lie to your face.

With response to your review Dazza I would like to again inform that Forton Motors are a well established business having been trading here since 2003 up to date and our previous premises since 1986 and definitely have nothing to hide, as we are a very successful business. All our team here at Forton Motors have always been credited for their fantastic customer service and complete honesty. We think this review from yourself is down to a slight noise on the vehicle, which we both spoke about at point of sale, however sometime later you say we didn't mention this noise at point of sale, so as a good will gesture from ourselves, we agreed to have a look at your car. Instead you have taken your vehicle to a neighboring garage for them to have a look at, as you told us that you didn't want us to diagnose the slight noise for you. Then I believe you collected your car then drove away without paying them! We can't understand this review as you being a customer, you came in to Forton Motors after you placed your review on our website. Then approximately a week later you called in to Forton Motors on the (19th December) not mentioning anything to do with the noise and in polite conversation you wished us a Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year!!

After taking the vehicle to a local garage that you told me to I did you didn't pay the bill as it was your bill to pay Stuart told me to take it to this local garage on your say so. You tried to get out of paying our finance off until we brought the letter in. Steve you lie to your customers faces then lie lie lie You don't do the right thing for the customer and your Vat recipient are wrong my solicitor has told me this But you know this already.

Stuart was very helpful and knowledgeable, it was a first class service and car. I would recommend Forton Motors.

Went to look at a car from Fonton Motors and didn't last two minutes. Stuart was very rude couldn't even smile and acted like he weren't interested. He was yurning like he was bored and couldn't wait to get rid of us.. Disgusting I won't be going there again

Just bought a Freelander from Forton motors, the help I got from Stuart was outstanding, nothing was to much trouble, the Freelander was in very good used condition, and with all the extras, new tyres , battery . service etc, was good value for the money, on driving the vehicle, found it to be a very smooth ride and in good mechanical condition, very happy customer. I have bought my very first car from Forton motors it’s a silver polo and I absolutely love it . The staff were all great (especially Steve) and helped me find a car that wouldn’t be too expensive to insure with being a new driver . I have had the car since May 2017 and all is still running smoothly . I definitely would recommend Forton motors .

I bought a Honda crv from Forton Motors, happy with it up to now, only got it on Friday but was told it would do more to the gallon than it does not to happy about that both people who I dealt with were very helpful and pleasant.

Forton Motors is a family run business situated between Preston and Lancaster. We are 3 minutes from Junction 33, M6 Motorway. With over 30 years experience in the Motor industry. After leaving school in 1980 serving an apprenticeship as a BMW mechanic , this giving a very good knowledge of our vehicles that we sell to our customers. Starting at our first premises in 1987 building a good reputation, as our business expanded we had to relocate. In 2003 we moved to our present larger premises.
We sell a variety of vehicles including diesel cars, family hatchbacks, MPV's, 4x4's and motor homes. We have a wide range of vehicles to suit all budgets. We offer excellent customer service and pride ourselves on our vehicles that we sell regardless of price. Our vehicles are competitively priced as we do not have huge overheads.
At Forton Motors you will not be hassled by pushy sales staff. You will simply be assisted by myself or loyal staff who have been employed by us for approx 13 years. All our vehicles are valeted to a very high standard. We can arrange delivery of your vehicle and offer a wide range of warranties.
We can help with finance and offer competitive finance packages (subject to status). Our finance is straight talking without confusing customers into something they do not require. We are happy to consider part exchange and welcome any vehicles including motorbikes, motor homes and caravans.
