I've bought two cars from Frankby motors, with around 5 years in between and cannot fault their after-sales service. The first was a 1970 Sprite, they were honest to a fault and incredibly helpful. The car is a joy to own and they have continued to offer me helpful advice over the intervening years. Because of this we bought my partner's most recent car from them, after around 2 months this developed a few problems (through no fault of the dealer) - these were sorted immediately and without any question. My partner attended as a single female and felt she was taken seriously and well looked after - we have both since recommended Frankby motors to colleagues and friends. Thank you!

I have recently bought a car from Frankby Motors and found the salesman Cliff to be very helpful. He let me test drive a number of vehicles with no pressure at all. I made up my mind and decided on one particular car. The day I collected the car it was presented extremely well. Valeted and looked like new! Many thanks. I must admit I was suprised to read the negative reviews however I take as I find and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
No complaints here, i bought my 2008 audi tt from here in july 2017. Drivers side window was replaced and developed a fault 10 months after the sale. Even tho the 6 month warranty had expired, cliff and ray sorted it out same day. To me that very good after sales service. Thanks guys, much appreciated
My sons friend bought a car from Frankby Motors, Greasby last year (2017). After about 200 miles the engine blew up because of a fault in the coolant system. It was taken back to the dealers where the owner/manager Clifford Wallace refused to have anything to do with it. The warranty was worthless. An examination by an automotive engineer revealed numerous historical leaks to this vehicles coolant system present prior to sale. Ten months later in the Birkenhead County Court the case against Wallace (Frankby Motors) was proven and a County Court Judgement was registered against this company and Wallace had to refund the cost of the car and all additional expenses. A most unpleasant experience which we will never repeat. Take my advice and 'GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, ANYWHERE ELSE'.

everybody conected to this sale and case knows that you drove the car for to long after it overheated when a simple radiator hose had split by going over a hump at high speed and cooked the engine . you then came back after driving it 200 miles and demanded money back without giving us the oppertunity to fix for you , you also came in with other people and became very agressive towards me which is why i then did not want to deal with you anymore , everyone knows frankby motors would help anyone
FRANKBY MOTORS> Mini was purchased February 2017. Lasted a week and less than 200 miles before complete engine failure. Radiator and cooling system disintegrated. Breakdown Recovery to Frankby Motors expecting refund or repair. The owner of Frankby Motors denied any responsibility and due to his lies and delaying tactics it took a year before Birkenhead County Court could get him before the judge. Independent expert evidence proved the car was inherently faulty and should not have been on the road. He attended court to contest the case but produced no defence. Costs and expenses awarded against him. He paid the judgment, then had the car repaired and put it back on sale at a higher price than before!

Strange that numerous wonderful reviews of Wallace- Frankby Motors have appeared since the account of the County Court Judgment appeared here. Despite the dates shown they weren’t there previously. The subscribers must have received exceptional treatment as it’s unusual for customers to report on good service. That’s more common with complaints, such as the account of the Mini for which Wallace denied any responsibility, was aggressive and showed his ‘warranty’ to be worthless, Rather than pay his inflated prices for old cars without guarantees, buy one from the auction-same as used car dealers.
I have already recommended Frankby Motors to family and friends. My car was absolutely immaculate when I went to pick it up and everyone at the dealership made me feel at ease and not intimidated at all. I would go again.
