If I could give 0 star I would. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! My sister was sold a cat n car at an extortionate price. She wasn't given an opportunity to test drive as it was stuck between all the other cars. She was deceived and told that a service would be done with a new MOT and receipt to validate this No receipts given and he was not responding to calls. She paid for this extra service!! There was a crack on the windscreen that she was not made aware of with a big smudge mark going across the windscreen. It covered most of the windscreen and doesn't come off. That was a hazard to drive in horrible weather conditions. The car has been juddering for a while. The engine light came on not long after and the mechanic advised to sell it as it would cause her problems. A year later the car started making loud drilling sounds when driven. Then it packed up and wouldn't start. The mechanic said there's 40 faults on it and the cost of it and the unreliability of whether it would make a difference means that he would advise not getting it fixed. So over £2800 for a clapped out banger that is no use to her a year later. Fabulous. Is this how you make business by scamming people? That's not honest at all and I do not call that a righteous way of earning money. You've deceived and lied to get that money!! If I could I would take it back there and demand my money back
Purchased car from Ash @ Garrison Trade Birmingham on 02/04, who described it as a reliable, well-maintained vehicle with full-service history for £3300. Payment made in full on the same day (02/4/23) and cleared onto the account on 03/4/23 – Ash agreed to get the car valeted and serviced and would contact me when the car was ready for collection. Ash contacted me to advise car was ready to collect on 07/04/23 and we made our way to pick up. After driving out of Garrison Garage only a short distance, (2-3 miles) the engine management light started flashing, together with a whining noise from the engine and the car started to lose power. We immediately notified the garage of the problem and advised we were heading back to them, as at this stage, we were only short distance away. Upon returning we were met by Ash’s brother, connected vehicle to a laptop , advising he was running a diagnostics test. He informed the warning light on the dashboard was minor and was caused by fragments in the engine and low fuel levels, then done something on the laptop which erased the flashing warning on the dashboard. He stated this negligible issue would be resolved by refilling diesel, together with the homebound drive of circa 20 miles would flush the engine clear of any minor debris. Not convinced by the explanation, we asked for refund, but he was reluctant to take the car back, advising he was about to close the garage, and the person who had sold us the car (his brother, Ash) had already left. I rang Ash’s number from my phone, which was ignored - I then asked the brother to ring Ash from HIS PHONE, which was surprisingly answered, upon which discussed the reason for our return to garage and my concern the car wasn’t performing as one would normally expect a recently serviced. I requested a refund citing, reliability issues and apprehension over the long distance via motorway to travel back home, to be reiterated with the same response - that by simply re-fuelling, there would be no further problems. Left with little choice, after being ushered out, we refuelled in a nearby petrol station, but around 20 minutes into the driving home journey, experienced a recurrence with the glow plug flashing once again on the dashboard and the car losing power, struggling to gain speed, barely managing 50-60mph. I contacted Ash upon our return @ home on 19:12 on 7/4/23 to advise that despite his insistence that refuelling would eradicate issues, the car had struggled to reach 60mph and not going over 2500 revs. I explained this was particularly hazardous, as the car appeared to be restricted to accelerating so would take an eternity to gain speed from 40mph upwards, so navigating and joining the motorway on our way back at such slow speeds was extremely dangerous. Ash agreed to arrange collection of the car the next day. 10/04 - no-one attended or called. 11/04: Having wasted the entire day enquired about whereabouts of pickup truck, only to be advised collection would now be 11/04 (Tuesday) apparently Ash had forgot it being a bank holiday. 11/04 came and went, again with no pickup or call - left waiting in all day for a no-show. I messaged again as not received any contact from the garage, despite repeatedly asking to be kept informed of approximate pick-up time to enable me to plan my working day. 12/04: vehicle finally collected. Contact was then made by myself on multiple occasions for update since then to be consistently advised “we are investigating the issue, whether it was caused by an oversight during the service” or “we are planning to take it to another mechanic for inspection “ At no point during the interaction, despite repeated promises, was I ever the recipient of a call back to update progress. Instead, I made a series of calls and WhatsApp messages throughout the next 2 weeks for progress updates on 19.04.23, 20.04.23, 26.04.23, 27.04.23, 29.04.23. Voicemails were also left yet promised call-backs did not materialize. I have retained messages on WhatsApp. During contact, I repeatedly requested a refund due to the lack of engagement and constant promises to return calls not being fulfilled. When Ash did manage to answer, he would revert to advising he “was looking into getting this sorted” but repeatedly disregarding requests to supply any definitive view of progress - effectively dismissing the refund request. After numerous efforts, my final message to the garage was on Saturday 29/04 @ 11:51. “Hi ash, after waiting for your response yesterday- which again did not materialise, and I had to chase a response. During this discussion I requested a full refund as I do not have the confidence the car is suitable for my daughter.

Bought a car from here in January, the said it had a full MOT (which I think was a dodgy one anyway). Next day the car failed to start, had to call out RAC. £134 later I had a new battery. A few days later noticed car pulled to one side, took it to garage, the actual tyre were the wrong size for the car. Now Head gasket has gone. An absolute shit show. They do not deserve any business and yes I could have taken this back but my mom bought me this car and I dont live close to the garage. Just sold the car to be told the car was a write off anyway and Garrison Cars failed to mention that!!!!

I also bought a car from this "garage". If only I had looked at their reviews beforehand. They sold me a heap of junk
Don’t waste your money. I bought a car three months back, problem with gearbox after a month, bunch of scammers idiots who are stealing money from others. Buying in broken cars and selling them for 1000s of pound. This place needs to SERIOUSLY shut down, try to walk away from this street also , organised looters
Purchased a car from here, first week bumper came loose, bracket rusted. 6 weeks later exhaust has gone, car needs 4 new tyres. Definetly not wear and tear as not drove car a lot. Unhelpful people at this garage, wish I had never bought a car from them

Alice in response to THE WORST CAR DEALERSHIP
I wish I had seen your review and all the others before I bought a car from these people. Not happy at all with car I bought. No help from garage at all
I was the owner of one of the biggest accident management companies in the UK for 25 years. Cars involved in accidents that are not repaired under an insurance policy, are categorised subject to damage. If a vehicle is too badly damaged, it is not allowed back on the road. There are thousands of vehicles damaged every month in the UK. The chances of you buying a car that could have been accident damaged and repaired in the past are high. To buy a car where you are told what damage has been caused through accident and repaired by a professional repairer and the vehicle is 25% cheaper is usually great value. I bought a car that was CAT S, from these guys, I asked what the damage had been and checked it over. Bought the car, collected it the day after, fully valeted, for £13250.00. This car would be £18k to £20K without the CAT S. Car drives perfect. You get what you pay for. If you don`t know what you are looking at, pay the AA or RAC to check it out. Do not be put off with CAT S or CAT N. If the car has been repaired properly you could get a bargain.

I bought a car on May 29th and collected it on May 31st as they promised to have it serviced & to repair the obvious faults noticed on the test drive. The engine light came on as I left the garage, but I was assured it was just a sensor & they would repair it if I brought the car back later. I never received proof of the service or repairs, and am confident these were lies to convince me to purchase the car. After 9 attempts at contacting the company, including speaking to the director, Ash, over the phone, I exhausted all options (including offering to return the car) and was forced to repair the car at my expense. Within the first month of owning the car, I was forced to spend £2600 on repairs as the car was deemed unsafe & unroadworthy. The car only cost £2,790!! Repairs included a new head gasket, radiator, battery, brakes and attempts to fix a faulty speedometer (still having difficulties repairing this!). 5 months later I am still paying for repairs that were present when I bought the car. I had no choice but to file a small claims court appeal, which was won without contest as the debtor did not even reply! Despite a county court judgement, I have had to issue bailiffs to collect the money owed. I intend to take this further as this company should not be operating. Do not make the same mistake I did!

Jonny in response to Unsafe car - we had to send bailiffs!
Hi we’re having the same issues with them. Had to spend 1000s on repairs and was wondering about going down the small claims courts is it easy to do? And how expensive is it to do? Thanks
My advice would be to not go anywhere near this garage. I wish I had read the reviews before even entertaining buying a car from them. I purchased a car from them end of August, we still have not received the V5. On first filling up the car I noticed the petrol gauge read full constantly, and the interior lights did not work. We arranged for a mechanic to look over it and do a mini service. He brought it back immediately and stated 'do not drive it, its a death trap'. Unfortunately we were out of our 30 days for money back so we swapped the car for another, taking a mechanic with us. He checked all the vehicles at the same value, all had faults. We told them all the problems with the original vehicle which included a bent bar underneath, no driver air bag, wiring just tied up and not fixed, plus 14 faults registered on a diagnostic machine. They have just put it straight back on the forecourt - DO NOT BUY!
