An outstanding service experience with the purchase last week of my new car. Every stage from first enquiry, through finance, part exchange and collection was spot on. I bought a MCLAREN 540C from GC Motors March 2020. My call with their sales rep was pleasant and he said that they like to do a single deal with you so you dont see the car and you get photos and with their reputation you buy the car and pick up in one go. I trusted the company agreed on a price for my i8 and when I came to trade it in they tried to drop the offer price of my i8 (which was already rock bottom) - when I refused and wanted my money back (I had foolishly transferred 40K) they played very difficult. They didn't tell me their warranty was not the Maclaren warranty and so had a cap and was far inferior - I cancelled that but they tried to say that the 2-year warranty was a freebee when it wasnt - I lost total trust in them. I eventually bought the car and to my disguised when I got home there was 1.5cm scratch on the bonnet - I told Mike and they sent me a picture of the car from 10 yards away and said there was no scratch. I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
