Do not purchase a vehicle from this garage they are thoroughly dishonest and should be avoided at all costs. I recently purchased a car from Glendale Garage Limited and was offered a 6 month warranty. Three months and 3 days after receiving the car a major fault appeared that was checked over by my reliable garage and I was advised that there was a crack in the cylinder that looked like it had been there for some time and had been covered with silicon. I contacted the garage expecting they would collect the car and look at this for a repair or refund. Marc and the owner basically denied all responsibility for the vehicle and claimed that this had been caused by driver misuse. How and why they come to this conclusion I will never know. The car had not been driven much and there were not many additional miles. They said that they would do nothing. I suggested a third party inspection but they still said the car was not their responsibility and blamed my employee (with no evidence - the car had been driven carefully and not very much) for causing the catastrophic engine failure. I then contacted the warranty company and they advised that Glendale had only taken out a 3 month warranty, not 6 months as agreed and as specified on the sale receipt document. This is patently dishonest. I purchased the car for my company from a garage as I believed this would provide greater security should there be an issue under the warranty period. This company should be avoided at all costs. They talk the talk at the point of sale and then wash their hands with any after sales care and responsibility. I will be taking them to a small claims court and have already contacted Trading Standards about this company. You have been warned. Stay away from this company or pay the consequences.

I have had my car from Glendale Garage for a week now and absolutely love it. When I first went and saw it there was no pressure sales pitch. Marc was very friendly down to earth, could instantly tell it was a family run garage and could understand why the workshop was so busy, I know if I have any problems I don't have a doubt about informing them. Well done you all
