I purchased a Dacia Duster recently from Glyn Hopkin Dacia, it was a fantastic experience, the whole process was made very easy and understandable by Rahat. I'm really enjoying the new car and it's totally the car I needed.

The most god-awful dealership you will ever deal with. I begged my wife not to buy a Renault as of the previous experience I had with this depot. She pushed ahead and purchased a Zoe. I have to say, it's a great little car. However, the paint has come away on the front bumper. It started around the sensor and got worse, so I suspect water ingress there. They are refusing to fix due to a barely noticeable chip far from the paint defect. This is typical of this dealership trying to weasel out of repair work. If you read this review, then purchase from this dealership, then you only have yourself to blame.

We had an appointment at 12 and the guy was busy with a different customer- he didn’t even acknowledge us or make eye contact even though he walked past a few times. Another guy tried to help but we knew more about the product than he did - having watched a couple of videos - he should have just said I don’t know. Total waste of a morning and sales simply don’t know their stuff and don’t have the good manners to apologise. Place needs a good dust too.

I miss-sold a Megane E TECH from Glyn Hopkin, and it has been the most disappointing vehicle in my ownership experience. The advertised mileage falls significantly short of reality; during winter, I only manage to achieve around 140 miles with preconditioning and conservative driving. Renault call the poor range a 'feature' and is as per their expectations. Moreover, the car has numerous issues. The alarm system alone has been repaired five times and still malfunctions. It has spent weeks in the garage on multiple occasions. Glyn Hopkin and Renault’s customer service has been atrocious, consistently refusing to acknowledge any liability. Additionally, the car depreciates rapidly. As a result of this dreadful ordeal, the stress endured, and the significant time wasted, I will never entertain the idea of purchasing a Renault again. Additionally, I strongly discourage engaging with Glyn Hopkin due to my exceptionally negative experience with them. I strongly recommend anyone contemplating buying a Megane or Scenic E TECH to conduct thorough research and explore online forums beforehand.

Buying a new car from Dacia St Albans was a made to be easy, sales advisor Rabat made the experience seamless, he did everything that was needed and a little extra, well done young man l think you will go far.

All round not a good experience for many reasons. Just feels like they are over keen to take your money but not to ensure everything is done correctly or to the standard you are paying for. Staff are openly critical if the service and valet dept too.
