The experience I've had with them over the last week or so is shocking at best. My Leaf Tekna was due a full service and its first MOT. The people at Glynn Hopkin told me that it failed its MOT because one of the headlights was out of alignment. I asked what it needs to pass its MOT and was told that I need a whole new headlight. It would have cost £748 and £57 fitting. I asked if I could source my own part. They agreed. Once I sourced the part, I took it to an indie garage and asked how much they would charge to fit the new headlight. They told me £65 which was one hours labour. He then asked me what was wrong with the one on my car. After explaining what was wrong, he asked me to open the bonnet to have a look. He showed me the problem and then fixed it in less than five minutes. He didn't charge me!! There was a small white plastic cog that was missing. That was all. All Glynn Hopkin had to do was turn the piece in the middle using a pair of plyers (or a radiator bleed key) and the headlight would adjust. I then went back to Glynn Hopkin to address the situation as to why they wouldn't do what the indie garage did. The service manager explained that if a part is broken, they will not attempt to fix anything. All they will do is change a part. Even after discussing with them the benefit of reducing my bill from £805 to nothing, they insisted that they would never try and fix something. I really do feel that I was being taken for a ride. What might have cost me £805 did in fact cost me NOTHING. Luckily the headlight that I purchased was returned.

I brought my car for cash a year ago at Nissan Watford for cash. They lied to me about the deposit and said i lied about wanting Bluetooth. The manager refused to call me even after I called a few time. Now last month I found they had taxed my car a month before I bought it and charged me £160 on top of the £8,500 I had paid in cash. The tax is £130 Year . I tried to complain to head office but but was continued to be treated like I had done something wrong. The dealer who sold me the car acted like a saint throughout but after the sale made me feel like I was nothing. I would never use this dealership again.
Excellent when buying a new car that is in warranty. Took my Nissan Juke in for 4th year service, out of warranty. They found numerous parts that might need changing and were willing to do this for me for £1200!!!. Nothing whatsover ever mentioned for first 3 years under warranty. I actually had a problem with the car as it broke down and RAC were called. They advised Nissan of the problem, this was relayed to Nissan Watford and they chose to ignore this and change a part that didn't need changing. Car subsequently broke down again on the way home in North of UK. You need a good garage when your car has a problem.not when its routine. They would not listen to me the customer. I will never use them again.
