My husband bought a Nissan navara from this garage 5 months ago, it has been in the workshop for 2 weeks now and cost us over £2000 to be fixed, not to mention the money my husband has lost through loss of earnings! The car was deemed dangerous and we were told to take it off the road. I have called the garage to discuss the issues with this car but unfortunately the guy is not interested in talking to me, apparently I need to put everything in writing and he will come back to me, so more of our time wasted! I am happy to put a report together and list the lengthy issues with this truck as my 2 children were in this vehicle when it broke down on the motorway. The attitude of the bloke I spoke to (Anthony) is appalling and unprofessional,I have worked in the motor trade for over 10 years and i can honestly say nothing has ever left our forecourt in this state. I will be in touch with this garage after some advice from trading standards.
I recently bought a Bentley Continental GT from Clayton at GM, as with any car of that complexity it had a few issues that became apparent after a few days. Clayton (the garage owner) went out off his way to resolve them issues, car was booked into a specialist in Cheltenham and he even lent me a car to borrow while the work was done. Reading some of the other reviews I can not believe its even the same garage - very happy to recommend to anyone and i would add that I am in no way related to GM,
Buyer also sells cars in eBay under the name of Jaguarimports - name was change 2nd of January 2016 from GM Cars Cheltenham - visited the showroom to see a car and after 15 mins walked away, the car advertised had been badly refurbished, the leather looked like it had been painted with a thick layer of later paint and the removable hard top was hidden out of view -why, because it looked like it had been dropped and had a massive dent in the roof !
Bought a car from GM Cheltenham. Work was agreed at time of sale. The garage then refused to pay for the work as they had to fix something in the part exchange car (that they had test driven). Have had to chase for weeks to be finally told they will not pay for the work. Never buy a car from GM Cheltenham they are not at all trustworthy in my opinion.

Offered full refund, but customer refused, as they did not want there part exchange back, due to knowingly trading in with a major fault, it seems okay to sell me a faulty vehicle, but not the other way round, we sell hundreds of cars over 37 years, not all are perfect I accept, but you cannot trade in, dodgy vehicles, we ask if it drives okay, the customer thinks it is okay to lie, to a motor trader, honesty works both way, or at least it should.
I am currently dealing with trading standards and have a representative working with me against this garage. I was sold a car that has been highly dangerous. I have had to spend lots of money to still not have conquered the problem. I have 2 children. The salesmam let me drive off telling me a lie that the radio had only been disconnected whilst on the for court. Since plugging in the radio i have had a drained battery. So i can only use the car if bumped. It has had steering problems and an electric leak. Ford looked at it to see wires had been cut and taped. It was an utter mess. They had it back to sort. Well the problem is still there. After a new battery and alternator at my expense the battery has completely drained again. I was told it had been sorted. But when i arrived early to pick up the car i found it outside with cobwebs attached from the wheel arches to the tyres. We rang and the chap said it's not back from the garage who's fixing it yet. "Hmm funny that i we were looking right at it" it clearly hadn't been driven that day. Since buying the car i have only been able to use it for a week. It cost 8k plus further expenses. They do not answer my calls and will not except responsibility that the car was dodgey from the start. I am heart broken and very out of pocket. I do not recommend at all. They told me the car had new tyres on. These were clearly used as it didn't get through it mot. They let me driving off with an electric leak and a steering malfunction with my baby. I know my rights. They can keep ignoring me but i will get what i am owed in due time

Please can you let me know who is dealing with this. As I would also like to bring a case against this company. Have sold me a car which should never have passed a mot as car was illegal. Also the car was classed as a fire risk and had to have extensive work to be put right. Thanks dave.

The customer, left this review , before we could diagnose the mystery fault, we had the car back, loaned her a car, had it on test for a month, NO FAULTS, it went to a Ford Dealership, No Faults, it did not malfunction once, in the 2 times we had it back, in the end the only conclusion was, radio interference to her remote key, although this seemed far fetched, it appears quite common, we asked her not to leave key near her wi-Fi hub, we have never heard from her again, so assume that was it, never was she ignored, or left without a car.
