This review is based purely on my experience as a customer of the Go Vauxhall service dept. I have no experience of purchasing a vehicle from them. I am a business analyst who has run Vauxhalls for the past 10 years. I recognise great customer service when I see it and feel it is important to feed back on it as all too often folk only post when service falls below par. Over the past 2 years I have used Go Vauxhall Crawley on several occasions having previously been a customer of Stevens (different ownership and staff) who were based at the same site. I was apprehensive of using a new dealership due to historic poor experiences of dealerships 10+ years ago. I needn't have worried, Go Vauxhall Crawley service dept offered a professional and friendly service from the off and have taken care of all my servicing and MOT needs on my 2 vehicles. On one occasion when Go Vauxhalls service fell short of the mark they recognised it straight away and made sure that I was looked after and reimbursed for my out of pocket expenses without quibble. The servicing rates are reasonable, you can wait whilst your vehicle is serviced in the comfort of their lounge area and enjoy free hot and cold drinks and watch TV. The first thing the service technicians do is a vehicle health check which is accompanied by a video of the underside of the vehicle focussing on the tyres, braking, suspension and exhaust. This is a nice touch. The service I receive from one particular member of the service front desk team called Lauren is truly something quite remarkable. Lauren always gives me the impression that she enjoys her job and it reflects in the way she treats her customers, service is always provided efficiently to all customers, service with a smile and Lauren demonstrates a solid understanding of her subject matter ensuring that the customer is fully informed and at ease. Also importantly Lauren makes the customer feel valued and their custom appreciated. I do hope that the efforts Lauren invests in looking after her customers and making them feel welcome are appreciated and rewarded by her line management and that she is recognised as a role model by and for other customer facing staff both at the Crawley dealership and elsewhere. Well done Lauren and the rest of the team!
