Gosforth Car Centre Screwed us around at every possible moment. Didn't get the agreed damages fixed before purchase, didn't get the vehicle MOT'ed as promised, didn't pass on the required documents, refused to answer calls or texts after the sale, made us wait nearly an hour when making the final purchase, had the cheek to get annoyed with us when we questioned the professionalism of the service. Avoid at all costs. Absolute crooks.

Bought a car a week ago contacted Gosforth Car Centre about the car offer to take a loss if he took it back and both mine and my partners numbers where blocked immediately, lied about the car on the listing should have known better and cancelled the Sale , just a car to get about with our disabled child . You just don’t expect people to be so disgusting and dishonest

Similar to other reviews on here I was promised financial recompense for issues I had with a vehicle I'd purchased from Ian Emery. Ian asked for my bank details and assured me the agreed amount would be transferred . Over the course of several weeks stretching into months Ian made numerous excuses as to why the money hadn't been transferred. I lost count of the number of broken promises he made that the money would be paid. When he eventually ran out of lies he resorted to pretending he couldn't hear me whenever I rang him and ignored my texts.. Ian Emery is a compulsive liar and a rogue trader. My message to anyone thinking about buying from Gosforth Car Centre is save yourself a lot of money and aggravation and go to a genuine dealer instead.
12k I’ve done in the van it’s still under warranty after arguing with me on the phone telling me to spend my own money to fix the van. Gosforth Car Centre repaired gearbox Now they refuse to replace clutch which is on its way out the flywheel is rattling around massive arguments again with the big hard Ian emery what a joker the van now is stuck in a garage having the repairs carried out ignoring my calls and txts because he got shouted at last night baby !!! I got the van it had zero back brakes no washer fluid no tie down for the battery but it passed a straight mot more like a dodgy one this guy is being reported to trading standards and is being slapped with a hefty bill from my solicitors.
Purchased a chiller van back in May from Gosforth Car Centre. Paid to have it delivered down to wales. Upon receiving the van, there were numerous faults including gas leaking from the chiller. Contacted Ian to say there were problems. Given assurances that payment would be sent for repairs. But despite asking for my bank details, no payment was ever received. The van is now off the road as it’s illegal to drive due to a diesel leak. Which now requires further work, with an estimated cost of £500. Contacted Ian Emery severals times to sort out the problems and each time he’s been unhelpful, obstructive, and rude. Will not answer my calls. I now have no choice but to take legal action. Each day the van is off the road I’m loosing trade, and it threatens my whole livelihood. Which is worrying with a family to provide for. Despite being assured by Ian the van was in working order and fit for purpose. All I asked was for the problems to be fixed. Very disappointed and certainly wouldn’t want anyone else to experience the stress I’m currently suffering.

We did pay the bill all we ask was to get it check from garage and send us the bill with we did resolve this as customer was not sure what pipe it was or cost thanks
