After three phone calls and three promises to call me back with a price, i am still waiting, very poor from Grant & McAllin.
I bought a Car from Grant& M`callin in August 2017. My advice to any prospective costomer, especially if you travel far, in my case 100 miles from home,is. 1,Make sure you are accompanied by the salesman on the test drive, you will have more opportunities to ask questions about the spec and how it works or even exists as you drive.( I regret I didn`t.) 2. Absolutely make sure the Spec or upgrades are as advertised before you make your long journey home.( I regret I didn`t). 3.Absolutely make sure the service the Car comes with will last for 12 months, check the service manual to make sure the relevant boxes are ticked. ( I regret i didn`t). 4. If you get fobbed off or patronised when you phone repeatedly to complain. Persist and persist. I did. 5. if you fail to get all your issues resolved at Grant&Mcallin Write to The board of directors at Burrows Motor company. I got a letter back immediately from their Costomer relationship manager who after initial reluctance dealt with my remaining complaints in a satisfactory manner.

My experience with Grant & McAllin Ltd has been dreadful. My wife and I went a view an Audi A5 seen on Autotrader. We phoned them in advance and drove to the dealership in Sheffield from Birmingham. We looked at the car and asked about the possibility of a test drive. The salesman appeared annoyed and informed us that he had a commitment later. He then implied we couldn’t afford the car (having no knowledge of our financial situation) and told us he didn’t want to waste his time taking the car on a test drive if we didn’t have the means to pay for it. When we pointed out that we could buy the car outright in cash and he was not being helpful he became aggressive and unpleasant. He appeared to pre-judge us and decided we could not afford the car, showing no interest in trying to sell it to us. He was very rude. As we really liked the car we phoned later, spoke to someone else and arranged to view the car the following weekend, however the car was sold and the sales person didn’t even bother to inform us. If this is the pre-sale service it begs the question what happens after they have your money!? We are two professional people (Doctor and I.T. Consultant) and we’ve never been treated in such an unprofessional manner and we would not recommend Grant & McAllin.

I had a car to sell and spoke with Gary, who was very upfront and honest from the outset. He called me back when he said he would and followed up on every occasion. He informed that on the day I was dropping the car off I would be dealing with Tom as he was on leave that particular day. Tom was of the same line as Gary, very honest and upfront, both were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Having driven 3 hours from South Wales, I was made to feel very welcome and my business was appreciated. I would consider dealing with this garage in the future (would have no issue in driving 3 hours to be looked after by this dealership) and can highly recommend their services. Thanks again to both Gary & Tom.
Very good car dealership, there was no pressure at all when browsing, they were very helpful throughout and the car itself is driving well.

I was told when I bought the car ...BMW 520D MOTOR SPORT...... that they had Master Technicians. I returned the car 5 times during the 3 month warranty and they couldn't cure a half second squeak!!!!!! On the last 2 occasions I spent the whole day waiting and they still didn't fix... now saying they will have to go back to BMW and ask why it's happening????? I thought they were all dealer trained MASTER TECHNICIANS? ???? The last resort way to speak to the owner TOM....and you guest it not even he returns his calls after speaking to him just the once!!!! They appear to be offering you some sort of after sales but if that's how Boss treats you....you dont stand a chance!!! PS ... you will have to do all the ringing and running around if you want service from this garage!!!!! The car was still not fixed!!!
