I travelled 250 miles up from Torbay to buy my Freelander from Ricci @ Greenacres 4 x 4. Having initially viewed his stock on auto trader, then on line plus you tube. I was really extremely impressed with his overall professionalism, the service I received from him and his set up. Clearly Ricci is a true specialist in his field. Ricci was very welcoming on arrival. There was absolutely no pressure or sales pitch from him.. I was left alone for a good amount of time to really inspect the vehicle of my choice. All his stock was immaculate and covered in individual dust covers. I saw the car I wanted having had the pick of his current stock. I viewed it, test drove it for half an hour or so and bought it from him all within about an hour. It was a low mileage, one owner from new vehicle which had been absolutely immaculately presented and had undergone a full valet inside and out. The vehicle also had a good service history. Over coffee, Ricci provided all the necessary information, history and paperwork with the vehicle and was very helpful with all queries raised. Why bother going to a main dealer and paying their inflated prices. This dealership is first class and everything that you would hope for when buying a used car. I looked at a few Range Rovers before visiting Greenacres 4x4, The only downside was the business was hard to find and a rough road, but then again that's why you buy a 4x4. I found Ricci the owner very helpful and not at all pushy. He basically left me with the car to inspect and then we went with a test drive. Again no pressure. I then bought the Range Rover Vogue and collected late evening. Unfortunately on the way home the car went into limp mode. I called Ricci and his response was 110%. He collected the car at 7.30am the next morning ( I live almost 50 miles away) and it was then taken to a Range Rover expert. It was found that a sensor had failed (Air map sensor). Know one could have foreseen this fault and Ricci was on the phone to try and track down 2 new sensors (only 1 failed), I also was on the internet trying to find them but almost all were on a couple of days delivery. The next day my car was delivered back with some other items replaced that the specialist said were OK but should be changed at a later date. Ricci had them replaced at no cost to me, as he wanted the car 100%. In the past I have bought many cars and to be honest I find main dealers fantastic when your buying, however when you have a problem they don't wish to know. In Greenacres 4x4 case I cannot fault them and would highly recommend them. Thank you Ricci.
