We picked up our car today from our salesman ANDY BEESTON at VW INCHCAPE MACCLESFIELD. Andy is an incredible salesman. He went above and beyond to help us with the purchase. He followed up with every promise that he made. Our experience with Andy was reassuring. My husband and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Matt the Manager was also very supportive and made us very welcome and reassured. Thank you.

I had an awful experience with Inchcape VW Macclesfield. The gentleman in the service team I dealt with was rude and made me feel extremely unwelcome. Their technician incorrectly diagnosed an issue with my air conditioning and tried to charge me £1,000 to fix!!!! They charged me £140 for this diagnosis. I took my car to another VW garage for a second opinion and they identified the issue as simply a faulty seal which was covered on the used warranty and cost me £0 to fix. Please avoid Inchcape VW at all costs, the service and advice I received was terrible and incorrect. Inchcape have refused to give me a refund despite their incorrect advice and poor service.

I am looking for a new car and after visiting 3 other garages VW Macclesfield was the best. Anthony was so helpful and friendly.

Travelled 3+ hrs to Macclesfield to view a vehicle after booking in with Andy. Upon arrival we were given amazing service, vehicle was just as described and everyone was very friendly.

I had an issue with my cambelt last year and paid £500 for it to be fix and a year later it had broken again, as it is under warranty so they should do it for free. the customer service of this place is HORRIBLE, they constantly undermined me and my knowledge of my car as well as pass the blame from pillar to post saying none of it was there fault, wouldn't give me a curtesy car and took 2 weeks to fix my own car after saying it would be done within a a couple day!!! the way I was treated by the staff is disgusting and they seriously need to take a course in customer service!! would never recommend getting a car from here! also turns out it was there fault as they hadnt fitted the cambelt properly, changed the bolt or water pump on which could of led to the bolt shattering my engine and even after that they still tried to put the blame on other people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just gonna put the main points about my experience with Macclesfield Volkwagen. Lots of false promises and lies. Rude sales staff with no manners. Purchased my car over four years ago on finance and haven't had any help with any of the issues I've had. Most bizarre thing however was immediately after beginning my financial plan, members of the sales staff were coming into my place of employment begging for a positive review, n regards to the VW customer care post purchase call. They went as far as too lie to me with promises of a 'bag of goodies for my new car' in exchange for a extremely satisfied review which never materialised.

Shocking Service - I have been a loyal customer for 15 years and its clear they have ripped me off. Stated they fixed my car with MOT and Service at a ridiculous price of £825 to find the next day the vehicle was still not functioning correctly - they advised me it would cost me a further £175 to fix - after a complaint letter to the manager they offered to fix it for free and to my upmost disappointment I have just collected the vehicle after promising it will be fixed that actually the fault is still there. After 15 years of being a customer with other family members its safe to say that we will never use this company again and I suggest no one else does either. The least they could have done is give me a refund so I could get it fixed elsewhere. Its clear they do not do anything to your vehicle as I am now having to get it checked by another garage. Absolutely disgusted with the service and treatment by the garage!!!!

Invited to a VIP Event at Macclesfield VW. Allocated a salesman who had no product knowledge or authority to do anything. We were offered a ridiculous trade in on a Golf bought from them. Car described as like new yet £500 less than non VW dealerships. Sales Manager could not even be bothered to acknowledge a person who had bought 3 cars from them. We will never us them again, The contrast who other dealerships within 100 yards of them was huge. Treated with courtesy not contempt. I believe they have become complacent.
