I have just purchased an RS4 from Aidi Stockport. I had a couple of other dealerships and makes of car in mind but after dealing with Chris Atkinson initially it was clear that I was going to buy off him. As the process unfolded Chris didn't disappoint with great communication right up to hand over when he even came off annual leave to deliver my car on the day that I wanted. Thanks Chris

The staff are basically taking the piss: disinterested in serving general public, snooty, lazy, unresponsive, pushing spam email. Night and day with other car showrooms in the area. So unprofessional and disinterested in your custom it was shocking.

I found that once they basically had the deal anything else didn't matter, called several times for a problem to be sorted and they really couldn't be bothered. I doubt very much my next car will be bought from that branch after have at lease 3 car from that branch previously very very disappointing.

I bought a pre-owned car in the morning from Inchcape Stockport, drove it home, parked it and then found it wouldn't start when I wanted to go out in the afternoon. The AA got it started for me, but advised me that the battery was completely dead and so I would have to drive it straight back to Inchcape. They did replace the battery, but it took a full week to do. Having picked up the car for a second time and driven it home I noticed it had acquired a dent, but because I had driven the car away, they won't repair it. Unfortunately, this follows similar problems with my previous car when it was serviced at Inchcape, Macclesfield. Perhaps it's company policy to do this sort of thing, I wouldn't recommend as aftercare is dreadful. Use VW World.
