Avoid them at all costs - because it will undoubtedly cost you. Bought a motorhome from them at start of pandemic, Lots of problems reported to them and appeared OK with it and said when we could all get out it would be sorted. Went to see them by appointment and a very rough man told us to get off property, followed us out and said they wouldn't do anything. Contacted CAB who were very helpful and followed their instructions keeping records of everything. Eventually took them to small claims court ( not the easiest process) and WON. They were absolutely useless - think even the judge could barely believe. Didn't get the full amount we wanted but enough. Frankly I'd have been happy with a fiver just to put them to the inconvenience. PS Robin Guest has been prosecuted by trading standards in the past for selling a dangerous vehicle. Leopards don't change their spots and he doesn't change his ways. PPS Did you know that there doesn't seem to be any verification of reviews put on autotrader? Looking back the good ones all seemed very similar

Bought a SEAT Arosa, no back wiper so bought one as Robin said it wasn’t the motor, low and behold it was the motor. Faulty radio and speakers, refused to pay for it. 2 months in and it’s been scrapped as it had apparently been under water, had a cylinder missing the list goes on. Looks like he doesn’t only sell dodgy cars to women either

Well wish I had seen this before buying my van in August 2019, nothing but problems, vans been back several times and all I hear from there mouths is BS, do not believe a word these guys tell you and avoid, I have just had to pay out nearly 500 for a new fuel pump as it packed up, also had a safety test done and found brake pads and discs are all knackered, needs renewed asap, needs to brake sensors, spare tyre bold, not quite sure hows they got it thru a MOT?? The reason i gave Guests Cars and Commercials a 1 star rating is because I cant go any lower!

Purchased a Jaguar XF from Guests Cars and Commercials. Very pleased with this well maintained car.Would recommend and use again to acquire another car for our company.

2016: We purchased a Chevrolet Captiva and traded in a Vauxhall Zafira. Very nice & friendly at point of sale - even completing our request of snagging work on the Captiva without charge. Outstanding finance on the Zafira was settled into a new loan for the Captiva. I was assured that the Chevy was "HPI clear" but told that they needed to send off all of the paperwork to the finance company for their records - so signed it all off and did the deal. I took delivery but 4 weeks later, found that the Zafira finance was not settled and I needed to pay further instalments! No response to calls until I finally tracked down who told me that he now owned the Zafira and had sent "a cheque" to the Zafira finance company (what sort of car dealership used cheques in 2016?!). 2 weeks of further calls finally resulted in sending me a personal cheque to settle the old Zafira finance myself - but he'd now sold the Zafira (even with my outstanding finance on it... how?.. .well, stick with me, because it gets worse....) 2018: The Chevy had been fine, but 2 years later I needed a bigger car and so went to trade it in with a main dealer who valued the Chevy and then advised that it was a Cat C write-off - he then sent me a copy of the HPI check to confirm this. I contacted the finance company - and they advised that they weren't aware of the Chevy being Cat C - and wouldn't have loaned against the car, if they had known. I now have a car that is worth £4000 less than my outstanding finance and a national car finance company who are as angry as I am - as both of us have been misrepresented, Needless to say, this is now in the hands of the Car Finance's legal team. (I've not left my name due to the ongoing legal situation)

Guest cars and commercials deliver the worst customer service ever... I bought a car from here and the very next day engine light on.... went back for a week to be told that they had spent £500 to fix it (egr valve)..hmmm Picked it up turned the key and guess what engine light... I asked if i got it fixed and sent them a quote before having the work done were they willing to pay? Answer yes of cause if its reasonable. I said not to worry as i work in the trade i will do it at cost. I quoted them on a new EGR valve and fitting £120.. Yes go ahead they said. The mechanic said that they had not changed the egr even though they had apparently spent £500 on a new one. Sent them the bill and no reply.. kept calling and the boss is going to call me back.. this went on everyday for a week. After no reply i went to see them, well..... After waiting 30 mins i got a cheque literally thrown at me. I checked it and they gave me £60 half the amount. I obviously questioned them to be told that this is what we agreed and if i dont like it to get out and they pushed me out the door. You will know the feeling if you meet them. Stay Away.

The proprietor of this Company Mr Guest is either dishonest or stupid. Both reasons not to buy from him! He sold me a truck in June 2017 which over heated from the get-go, and blew up on the motorway 1 month afterwards after having had £900 spent on it with our local garage to rectify the overheating problem. Complete write-off which cost £550 to recover! Apparently Mr Guest had bought it from an auction and claimed he wasn't a mechanic so 'how should I know it had something wrong with it'. However, on inspection by our approved garage it looked as though parts had been replaced recently and it had a warped head gasket - i.e. it had been overheating for a while. He completely washed his hands of the situation and took absolutely no responsibility for it at all. I would never buy from this company again - and watch out for other company names that he uses - he has to avoid reviews such as this one by starting new companies and new reviews!

Poor they will sell a car on finance with no new service done. I advise stay well clear we have a non runner now and still paying finance

This company is currently running under it's 4th business name change in so many years, that alone should ring alarm bells for you! Google Robin Guest, he's been taken to court & lost to a previous victim of his dodgy used cars. My husband & I were unfortunate victims of this company in November 2015 when we purchased a Ford Focus, which we quickly discovered was unfit for purpose. Despite an independent inspection proving this, Robin Guest continued to deny any wrong doing & took a further 4 months to accept the car back & refund myself & the finance company. We are not alone in such experience, there are lots of other unfortunate & angry people they have sold wrecks to: They're impossible to get hold of once you've paid the money & left the site, they genuinely don't give a toss. Thankfully in my case, I did have the finance company on my side, who ended up having to send one of their CEO's down from Leicester to the site in person to thrash out my refund, Robin & David repeatedly made false promises to call me back, or didn't answer my calls/cut me off. Even childish enough to make a quick getaway in a car or hide somewhere on site when they'd seen me approaching. Do you still want to buy a car from these after reading this?!!
