Having had dealings with Guy Salmon Land Rover in Knutsford in the past I am not sure why I am surprised at what has happened today. I purchased my car at the end of June & it’s had several issues. So it went in on Saturday 16th November when I have picked it up just now having not fixed any of them and to be told they are not under warranty. I say I am fuming is an understatement these would of been known about when they sold me the car!! Once they have your cash they don’t care....spend your money in a dealership that deserves it your business!

Sam Smith dealt with me from my first visit to the last. He is courteous friendly professional and above all patient. I’ve never bought a new car before but Sam guided me though the process. A big thanks Sam we got there!

I totally agree with the poor reviews posted on this site. The sales team are, in my view the best ever, but the service team are clearly not able to deliver at all. pre booked recall one month prior to visit yet the parts not in stock / ordered. Then, two months later, a two day job with curtsy car for a Monday, I get a call Saturday to say no car available! the customer satisfaction manager was just not interested in me or my needs at all. if it were not for the excellent sales team, I would never set foot in this place again. I am taking this up with Jaguar land rover directly as, after 8 disco's from new, I feel completely deflated. I have a lot of bad service history with guy Salmon over 20 years now.
Our brand new Range Rover (not purchased from this branch) has had several issues from 3 months old resulting in us having nearly 11 weeks of time that it’s spent in different land rover garages. We have yet another issue and have been advised by Land Rover Knutsford we’ll have to wait 5 weeks for our car to be seen as I need a replacement car for the 2 days that it’ll be with them. When I questioned this the service advisor argued with me and had a very rude manner.

I have spent many hundreds of thousands of pounds at guy salmon Knutsford. I have rarely been totally satisfied though more satisfied with the sales team. The aftersales and service department must be the worst in the world. They appear to be indifferent as to customer care even though they have a duty of care responsibility. I can only conclude that as I purchase my cars outright that it somehow places me in a lower category than the Hp or lease customer, and as they are often company paid for cars , the users of those cars are indifferent to the service , care etc And are happy to sit in the newly refurbished premises sipping free coffee and granola. I just need and DEMAND. A standard of care that reflects my status as a paying customer. Or is that a bygone era ? I suppose I’ll only know by switching brands.
Guy Salmon Land Rover in Knusford has got to be the worst one ever for a service you ring up and told they will ring you back and guess what they never do. To be told when I arrived to pick my car up it’s not had a valet as they didn’t have time even though I ask them to do it and they said yes not a problem when I dropped it off at 7-30am pickup at 4-30
We bought a Discovery here via an inexperienced and unprofessional sales team. Car delivered in a substandard condition and with no real handover. The car had to be returned 6 times in 6 months, one issue being a major safety issue. Customers service manager was terrible, barely interested in helping and seemed too busy dealing with numerous other customer complaints, never calls back or answers basic questions. Would never buy from here again. The only positive is the poor service team who really do their best cleaning up after such a terrible sales team and customer service
We went in to Guy Salmon Land Rover in Knutsford today willing to buy a car, very pleasant sales person asked us how much we wanted to spend we told him how much per month He found us a car we might be interested in then he went to see his manager , I think one plays manager and one doesn’t bit like good cop, bad cop.. after 1.5 hrs they came up with a figure 150.00 more than we wanted to pay . I would of preferred them to say you will have to pay a lot more for that spec . We felt conned if they had been upfront we would of understood
I bought a Range Rover Evoque from Alexio Vieira, what a fantastic guy. Very professional, kept me constantly informed, delivered on time, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Guy Salmon Knutsford, every single member of the team deserve great credit for the way they make you feel very welcome.

We bought a Discovery Sport from Heather at Guy Salmon Knutsford . Heather and her finance colleague Kellee were Professional , friendly and a pleasure to deal with . What I like about Heather is that everything she says she will do , return phone calls, meeting a delivery date etc , She does ! This is our second car we have bought from her at Knutsford and will not be the last
