brought a car from this garage in January 2018 in good faith only to find out after a short few weeks of taking it to my own garage that it was completely dangerous due to the numerous things wrong with it,. The bill for repair was hundreds . how the hell can this garage sell such bad condition cars? I phoned them up and they are utterly rude. He didn't want to know he just hung up on me!!!! disgusting way to run a business..

Many thanks for your review, we take our customer service very seriously and is our priority.... We Supply all our 16 year old £800 Part Exchange Clearance cars with the balance of mot not normally less than 6 months and as such will require a degree of maintenance, servicing and upkeep, furthermore as a wear and tear serviceable item it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect that a New shock and spring would need replacing on a new mot some 6 months later,We would suggest that the £300 pounds quoted for a headlight adjustment,shock absorber and a coil spring replacement to be a tad excessive
Spent the week looking at cars. Travelled 500 miles to GW Hall and Son. Wish we'd met Ged from the the outset. Great service, great deal, great smile. Couldn't be happier to find car we wanted.

Initial positive experience with GW Hall & Son turned negative unfortunately, advice is to get any car you buy checked by your own garage before committing to purchase. The car we bought broke down in middle of the road twice shortly after buying it due to failed fuel injectors. It then started making a terrible rattling noise and badly leaking oil about week after 3month warranty. Our garage advised the car needs significant work and infact they’d seen car before and advised previous owners to sell. We spoke to G.W. Hall who advised they’d give us a partial refund, as is our right under the consumer rights act, citizens advice bureau confirmed this, but first we had to take car to their garage to review. We did this and can only assume they were also advised how much work needed doing so have since refused and have told us to take them to court!

Many thanks for your review, we take customer service very seriously.... We supply all our £1500 cars with a 3 month warranty and if you experience problems within the 3 month warranty we rectify any mechanical failure, however when the 3 month has passed the warranty naturally has finished....3000 miles of use and continuing to drive the car with less than minimum required oil is not our responsibility....furthermore when your husband accused us of being dishonorable and a liar... plus morals etc.. we naturally refused any gesture of goodwill after our 3 month warranty had passed

Can't complain, excellent service would recommend GW Hall and Son and definately use again.
The dealers at Cars Direct have been very good. I have had some issues with the car and they have been very happy to help and fixed every issue. When I collected the car it had been cleaned to a good standard and I would definitely say its good value for money.
