Let me be your hindsight…JUST DONT! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND TAKE 2 MINUTES TO READ THIS REVIEW AS THEYVE PERMANENTLY CLOSED ON GOOGLE PREVIOUSLY SO MY REVIEW HAS WENT! AVOID AVOID AVOID! So I’ll start with just walk away. We unfortunately saw a 2020 Hyundai Tucson N-Line (cat N), we drove 3 and a half hours to view and purchase. After a quick 5 minute test drive and a look around the car we agreed to buy this, big mistake. Firstly they said there wouldn’t be any warranty with the car having cat N history, even though it was advertised with 3 months. We were about to walk away because who would pay £10600 on any car without warranty. In the end we got 6 months AA warranty, which turns out to be useless (see the service records attached as warranty is rejected due to ‘sketchy/fake’ paperwork). We filled up at the garage nearby, on restart the engine management light came on, mr Hussain answered the call and said all newer cars have this light come up when fuel is low, obviously that’s not true He came and cleared the code. It was DPF, they said drive in a lower gear on the motorway to clear it. The car drove fine all the way home but again on restart the engine light came on but also with driving through town in lower gears we found 2nd gear would pop out of gear. With having AA warranty we took it to a garage that was on the AA list. They scanned the car for faults and it brought up 3. They also recommended with the car having less than 60,000 miles and age to use Hyundai for the gearbox issue. Hessle Hyundai immediately found the engine was NOT the original engine so therefore void of manufacturer warranty. So we now have zero idea of how many miles this engine has done. We immediately phoned mr Hussain to say we’d like to return the car as per consumer rights act 2015, not fit for purpose or as listed. Mr Hussain laughed and said they would not accept the car back So back to Mer-tech garage for the AA warranty, they removed the gearbox and sent it to a specialist. His words are on the photo below “this vehicle should not be driven, the gearbox is beyond repair, dangerous to drive”. No oil was even in the gearbox. To replace the gearbox with brand new it was quoted all in £9500 Mer-tek went to the warranty company but was rejected as stated before due to the service records not been true. So AA warranty is also void! We have wrote twice to H2 stating our intent to return the vehicle, after the 2nd letter mr Hussain phoned my girlfriend to explain that he wasn’t taking the car and accepted that we will follow the procedure to get our money back. I have left a review on auto trader for them, they replied stating that because the car was listed as salvage we knew it was sold as seen. Their reply has been removed by feefo due to false content. What they dont know is immediately I contacted auto trader to complain. I have the full original scripture of the listing. Yes we knew the car had cat N history(I did a carVertical check also) but it was listed as mechanically sound and good condition inside and out. No mention of salvage. Everything we have put is factual with proof of everything said and done, whether this is receipts from the garages, post office for letters with copies and phone data. They have tried to make us out to be lier’s on their auto trader reply. Please show us where it stated salvage? On their own website they changed the wording of the tucson to say engine management light comes on sometimes but doesn’t affect the car. We have screenshot of their original post on the website where it doesn’t say anything about engine light. And also in a text message reply on day 1 he stated the light never came on before so it was weird I’m expecting some smart reply but please remember their reply on auto trader feedback has been removed for being false We will continue to use social media to warn people of H2 Autos and are on with using the mediation for the next step via AA website. H2 Autos have failed on every point that we as a consumer has. I aim to get the AA approved removed from them. Because like me, seeing a trusted brand like AA on their listings did sway us into going to look at the car Please note I did this review on google and now they have permanently closed and hidden themselves!!! Look elsewhere please
