Went to get my car serviced at Halliwell Jones North Wales BMW. 3 Service staff sitting at desks, 1 was busy. Girl acknowledged me after 5 Minutes, only to tell me her (busy) colleague would deal with me. Waited and waited and waited whilst 'Girl' sat there stroking her hair and eyelashes whilst telling her other unproductive waste of space colleague who she had slept with the night before. She toddles off on stilettos which look as though they would be at home on a circus stilt walker. After 15 minutes I walk out. Disgraceful service from lack lustre uncaring unprofessional bimbo with a dont care less attitude. Just makes me wonder what the other job applicants were like??
I contacted Halliwell Jones North Wales BMW initially as I wanted both a mini for my Daughter and a new BMW X6 for myself both originally on a business lease. I was told I needed to be contacted by their Business Manager Mr David Smith. I waited and waited and made several calls over a few weeks and left several messages. The salesman in Chester even sent an email on my behalf. He never bothered to contact me at all, and I even told their sales staff when I visited the showroom I wouldn’t buy a car off them now due to the pure lack of interest this so called Business Mangager showed towards my enquiries. Halliwell Jones need to know this as I’m sure there are many other people looking for small fleet purchase cars and he is probably only interested in companies dealing with many cars. A total waste of my time, and went elsewhere for the cars in the end.
I ‘m afraid that after reading the reviews of the Llandudno Halliwell Jones, I have to agree with all customers bar the last. I visited the Llandudno branch of HJ looking for a used mini. I met a salesman, told him what I was looking for and he said he would look on line and contact me. Two weeks later, no contact and yet I was seeing on line, cars that fitted my criteria. So I revisited the showroom. First of all the receptionist walked past me with another client without even acknowledging me. One salesman was at his desk very busy with clients so I did not expect any acknowledgment from him. The manager, I assume in the glass cubicle, was on the telephone. On finishing his call did not acknowledge I was there and made no effort to inquire as to my business. I left feeling that I must have been wearing a cloak of invisibility. On my return home I searched for mini dealerships which were NOT Halliwell Jones, only to find the nearest was in Liverpool, I live in Llandudno. I went on line to a company that claim to find the car that fits your requirements. On putting in my details within a few hours I got a phone call from Halliwell Jones to say that they had what I was looking for in Llandudno. I went down immediately, met a lovely salesman, Bradleigh Owen and test drove exactly what I was looking for. I made an appointment to test drive again the following day with a friend. We went to HJ at the appointed time only to find someone else walking towards the car. On approaching the salesman and informing him that I had an arrangement to drive that car at that time was told that they would not be long, in a dismissive manner. The salesman from the previous day was not in but , I had been reassured, by him, that all arrangements had been documented on his computer. When I returned the car I told the salesman that I wished to purchase that mini and therefore wished to put a deposit on it. He told me this could not be done as they had no price for the car. I informed him that I had been given a price the previous day. He told me that he did not have this information. I had to suggest to him that he might like to go into Bradleigh Owen’s computer to check. He seemed reluctant to do this but did eventually. Of course, the information, including price, was there. When I asked if the car would now be taken off the forecourt, he said no, as it was an experience car!, On telephoning Bradleigh on his return I was informed that he had taken the car off the forecourt as soon as he got in. I have experienced discourtesy before at Halliwell Jones Llandudno and therefore purchased my previous 2 minis elsewhere. Halliwell Jones BMW North Wales have now cornered the market in the north west and obviously feel that customer service is no longer a priority.
My husband and I went in today to look at a new Countryman with a view of ordering this as my new company car. After looking around the forecourt and inside a 'salesman' eventually came over and asked us if we needed help. We then went on to explain I was looking at a specific countryman with a view of ordering a new one, The Salesman then went to say they couldn't get hold of them?? Don't know when they could and we'd be lucky - in a very condescending tone !! (This surprised us straightaway) . We'd have to wait a while he told us if we wanted one of these cars. I said this is fine, as I can wait before I put my order in with work. I asked if there was any diesel countryman in stock we could look at, just so I could sit in one and have a ten minute test drive? He asked if this was a company car, we comfirmed it was. He then told us he wouldn't allow us test drive or indeed carry one with us as he wouldn't be getting the business so no! He was sooooo rude, He couldn't be bothered and was very abrupt. I mentioned that this was dreadful and halliwell jones would be getting my business as indeed the car would be brought there for servicing once I had one. He told us they had NO diesel countryman cars for me to look at or test drive. Which we thought was highly unlikely. We told how how applaud we were and asked for his name- he told us he wouldn't give us his name and walked off. All the other various other car dealers we went to today treated us great. I have never been so appalled and indeed phoned MIni and put an official complaint in - I'm pleased to say they were appalled and have escalated this. DONT - I repeat Do NOT buy a car from this dealer they DONT deserve your business. There showroom today was dead - literally no customers in so it wasn't as though we had gone in on a busy day. Just because I am a company car buyer and they personally may or may not get the contract to provide my new car, shouldn't give them the right to behave in this manner. Afterall I am buying a MINI and they are a mini dealership. Dreadful - I repeat dreadful car dealership
Bmw = driving perfection Halliwel Jones North Wales = dealership disaster - waste of time, money and avoid at all costs In short, BMW UK advertises a second hand approved customer charter outlines 10 commitments to high quality. HJNW barely delivers 3/10 commitments with low quality, yet provides many excuses but zero accountability. 1. I purchased a car in cash, yet the dealer did not remove the previous finance, BMW Finance had an interest on my car for 11 months 2. Car handed over needing a full service, HJNW call another dealer 3. Payment - Yes, I’m told you can use Amex, on arrival no you can’t 4. Car bought 1 August, but HJNW decided that June is the right moment for MOT / warranty etc 5. Bad battery 6. Didn’t prepare car to instruction 7. 10 month warranty 8. 10 month MOT 9. Car delivered with cut in tyre 10. Road tax 12x months (yes, 12 months road tax from 1 August - a miracle!) Sales representation, their antics and behaviour could inspire Ricky Gervais to am Oscar. Avoid at all costs

A nightmare! Mini Assist recovered us to Halliwell Jones at Llandudno Junction with a fault in the clutch. It was four days before the clutch was replaced and the mini was ready for collection only on the fifth. It cost £2300!!! The rate for the job was £120 an hour! A straw poll of quotes for the job later from independent garages in the area produced £1200 at the top and the cheapest less than £700. Their sense of responsibility for us (my wife is disabled) as owners of a Mini recovered to them (and customers) was nil. We sat for four hours awaiting the hire car due under the recovery and we could not have been more invisible. At 7 pm (8 hours after breakdown) we were at last under way for the final 50 miles. The lesson I've learned is avoid Mini dealership in terms of cost and mind-boggling inefficiency. But what about the warranty, you ask. Forget it. A clutch will count as wear and tear, even if you've driven for less than 4k

My wife and i decided to go to look for a newer car and decided to go to bmw llandudno this morning monday 28th may as we were passing it was hard for him to let us look at the cars but eventually he let us in but said we cant have the keys ( like we were going to run away with them ) after looking at the 2 bmw's we asked a few questions because we were really interested and then he made out will that be all and walked away from us my question is to the boss or owner why is it that you dont want to make any effort as we have also tried to book our bmw in for services etc in the past and this also was very hard work SO FOR ANYONE READING THIS PLEASE PASS ON BY LLANDUDNO BMW i really do hope that the CEO reads this and you change, unless you dont care either !!

I am writing this review as I have just got home from work and found out that Halliwell Jones (Llandudno Junction) has just basically bullied and manipulated my 65 yr old mother who went to pick up her brand new mini as a retirement present to herself. Others I know had warned her not to go there (including my partner who has had major aggro accessing aftercare when she bought a used mini from them with the TLC package) but she fell in love with the car. They could not have been nicer when buying, they offered her a trade in on her Hyundai Veloster which was very low. To be fair it was not in great condition as it had minor dents in as a small tree fell on it, for this reason she accepted the very low offer. She signed the finance agreement and she waited until her new mini was ready to pick up. As she is a decent and honest person, she nevertheless got a full service and valet on the Veloster which cost a small fortune. She went to pick up her new mini but the 'salesman' said there was a dent in the sill and would cost her an extra £250. She said no, after a forced discussion she said she no longer wanted the mini, but lo and behold they said it was too late, if she did not pay she basically owned both cars and that if she didn't take it they would drop it off at her home address. The 'salesman' then went to the backroom to get the 'opinion' from the mechanics. 4 came out, you can guess their response. The 'salesman' then said they would do the repair work for £100. Mum was basically forced into paying for the extra work, obviously this was very upsetting for her. What should have been a nice experience turned out to be a huge let down and an intimidating time, so I'm pretty very upset to put it politely. I have been told by my partner and mum not to visit to 'air my concerns', otherwise I would be waiting at their door at opening time as I am not as easy to con as a 65 yr old lady. DO NOT USE this dealer especially if you are a female, it's a swish salesroom but they are Arthur Daley's in disguise. go to another dealer, mini's are nice cars but the aftercare in HJ Llandudno Junction is appalling.
Very helpful and polite, i went into the garage with the aims of buying a mini and ended up coming out with 2! Staff are very nice and was on the road within an hour
