We recently bought a Ford Mondeo from Matt at Hallmark Cars. The experience from start to finish was exemplary. Matt sent us a fabulous detailed video on the car we wanted, as due to Covid restrictions we were unable to test drive in person. He kept in contact as our car required a new rear light so we wern't left wondering when our car would be ready. He is a genuine honest guy and we really cant recommend this place enough. Our friends have also purchased recently and they are over the moon with their car. If you are worried about buying a car, this is the place to buy from, you will definitely be well looked after.

Enquired about a Honda Civic on the phone and due to COVID-19 restrictions Matthew sent a detailed video of the car to us. All queries were answered promptly. In order to trade our car I sent a video to Matthew and we struck a deal. The Honda was delivered to our home and Matthew picked up our old car which we had originally bought from Hallmark cars so we are returning customers. All done very smoothly. 6 months RAC warranty. Thanks for a great service.
Bought a Ford focus from this garage around 11 months ago, filled out some information online and got a call the next morning where I said "do not run any credit checks on me until I have been to see the car" to which they agreed. Then when I got there they had run my details through 4 different companies and the price of the car was £500 more than it stated online. Seeing as my credit would have taken a bash I got the car, straight away had numerous problems that still haven't been sorted, every time I've made contact I've been fobbed off. Then around a month ago after I've barely used the car due to lockdown my engine has blown up leaving me with either a 3k garage bill or to pay the remaining 4k of finance. Thanks Hallmark cars 👍

Hi Luke as per my email last night when i responded straight away to your complaint about the turbo failing after you having owned the car for a year, i am really sorry your car has developed this sudden fault. I am still awaiting a response to my email and you seem to have chosen to have a bit of an imaccurate and unfair rant on social media instead of talking to me. We prepared the car for you back in march last year with a new mot with new brake discs and pads and new tyres which were only advisories on the mot but we did them along with the service to ensure the car left us right. It then developed a problem with the starter motor about a month after you bought it and we immediately had this replaced without any quibble or delay. No one fobbed you off. I am therefore a little upset to hear you say we 'fobbed you off' as this is clearly not the case Also i disagree that The car was £500 more than quoted. Neither did we harm your credit scoring but got you a quote for finance as you requested and then accepted without compliant or comment about this either. Now a year later the turbo has failed and i understand your upset but think it unfair to try and make out we have done anything wrong. It is unreasonable to expect us to guarantee a used car for this length of time or to think we could have known such a fault could have occured a year down the line. As you can see from the majority of our reviews our customers are very happy with the service we privide, and selling approx 500 cars a year for the last 20 uears with VERY FEW genuine complaints makes me feel very proud of my excellent reputation. we work very hard at selling quality cars at fair prices with good customer service. I am truly sorry your car has broken down but would ask you remove this innacurate and unfair review. Regards Matt

I couldn't have asked for a smoother transaction. I rang Matthew at Hallmark cars indicating my interest in one of his cars. Due to the Covid restrictions I wasn't able to test drive it but Matthew did send me a video tour of the car along with pictures of the log book and service details. I liked what I saw and agreed to buy. He had the car mot'd and agreed a fair exchange price on my existing car. The new car came with a free 6month RAC warranty and 12 months breakdown cover so I was more than happy. It took only 3 days from ringing to collecting.

Recently bought a second hand car from Hallmark Cars and found the service efficient and professional. Once I expressed an interest in a car, Matthew maintained regular contact by phone and email and arranged for it to undergo a service and MOT. Collected the car by arrangement but encountered a minor problem the day after sale. Matthew arranged a home visit and rectified the problem. I can't recommend this dealer enough - professional, personable and prepared to go the extra mile for the customer.

Lovely experience through all the process of buying our Seat Leon. Mark is a great salesman with a passion for a great customer service. Always been scared of second hand cars, but the fact that Mark offered a brand new MOT and service on the car, gave us peace of mind and assured us in our decision. We definitely explore Hallmark cars again if we need another car in the future.
