I purchased a car from Hallmark back in September 2015 and didn't get the chance to see the vehicle before purchase as it was at their other garage a mile up the road, when the car arrived there were so many problems with it around interior seats, external cosmetic issues but they did fix. However, since purchasing the car (9 months) it has been in the garage 3 times with head gasket issues, overheating, leaking water pump and timing belt. I love the car but I am very disappointed with the fact that it has had all these issues and I didn't even get my bunch of flowers to make up for the issues as promised by the owner. I would not recommend anyone getting a car from Hallmark as I can almost guarantee you will have problems with it

I am truly sorry to hear you have had issues with your car, and glad to hear it left us with any issues resolved (although someone forgot the flowers...sorry) I must say though that I feel it a little unreasonable to imply that all the cars we sell will have problems because you have had a few with yours after many months use! It will have been an older car if came from our other site at Freckleton, the PX centre. The faults you mention all sound related, and it is quite possible your mechanic has miss diagnosed the fault and the 3 faults could all be the same simple thing...after all in 9 months, we could hardly have known any fault would appear. Sorry again you where disappointed, I hope we can have the opportunity to be of service again in the future. If ever you need any future assistance we have some great mecanics in our team. Purchased a ford focus a month ago got excellent service, i was surprised a few days after a picked car up to receive a phone call to say they had ordered new number plates for my car that i had not requested but was going to replace myself. The car is great and was reasonable priced for year and mileage compared to other i had looked

Bought a lovely little Peugeot 207 for my daughter to learn to drive in. Customer Service was great. Everything easy and straightforward. No problems at all. Even took my old Vectra as Part exchange (I know you read your reviews - sorry about the state of that - it had been a while since I last seen it!) So thankyou to Hallmark, you have been great to do business with. We'll definitely have a run through to Preston again when we are looking to buy a car. PS Loved the flowers - a lovely gesture.

Best car buying experience I have ever experienced. I first contacted Trevor with Hallmark Cars, through the USAA car buying service and there wasn't a moment I regretted it. He looking up all upcoming maintenance, walked me through everything that had been done and even replaced the spark plugs so I wouldn't have to worry about it in 5,000 miles (when it was scheduled). He contacted the Chrysler company to make sure he had the correct answers to all the questions I had and the whole time was just a genuinely nice person, not just salesman nice. Shortly after I picked up the car, it overheated and when I contacted Hallmark Cars about the issue, they had me bring it back to them the following day. Even though it meant staying after they were closed, Trevor found the issue, fixed the problem, and offered that if anything were to come up again, just to let him know. No matter where the military takes my husband and me, I will surely be returning to Hallmark Cars. I've already suggested to all of my friends and family to do the same.
Bought a car from these about a 6 weeks ago. Can't praise them enough. The sale was very smooth and made me feel 2nd to none. The car is a dream to drive. And they even gave my partner a bouquet of flowers for a thank you. I will definitely recommend them A* service. Thank you.

I would never ever recommend this dealer to anyone who wishes to stay alive. My partner bought a Black Vauxhall insignia as a family car from them last month with the promise of a full 12 month MOT, however on the day he picked the car up he was distracted in every which way when it came to the MOT cert and he left without it,(they will use all sorts of techniques to distract you from important issues, watch out for them giving you flowers for the wives and the constant talking, they also play on the fact you are flustered spending all that money) we called them straight away and they promised to send it in the post and it did not arrive, we realized the card did not have the 12 month MOT as promised and took the car to be checked out, we went to Halfords a reputable garage and had a ten point check what this revealed was unbelievable, The breaks were so dangerous that the car was no fit to drive, it code two code reds on the report front and back, the brake disks were warn to their limits and the break pad at the front was in two pieces, due to this we could not drive the car and it had to be towed back to our home at a cost to us, it was also found that there were odd tyres on the back of the car, the water filter cap was missing, there were no locking nuts on the wheels, the break fluid was very low and the oil change service light was on. When contacting the garage they refused to believe the report from Halfords, and we had a two day battle with the to take the car back, when they finally did take the car back they took two days to refund the money which was a very worrying two days for us, and then they rung to say there was nothing wrong with the car and put it back up for sale, They have been reported to trading standards and are being investigated, this dealer put my whole family at risk and i would never recommend to anyone! please do not use.

Truly sorry this lady is so unhappy with us. We did give a FULL refund and took the car back without any hassle and once we got it back was able to inspect the car and found NO problems except for the damage made to the brakes by Halfords which we replaced. We then had the car re MOT'd for our peace of mind which it passed. We do not sell dangerous cars and on the rare occasion that something is wrong we do our best to rectify. This customer wouldn't give us the opportunity to collect the car and put any problems right, but agreed they were happy to return the car for a full refund and that it would be full and final. Sadly we cant always have happy customers despite our very best efforts. We have been in business under the same name and from the same premises since 1999 and our good reputation is very important to us. We wouldn't still be in business if we did carry on the way this customer has claimed! The new owner of the car is delighted with it, and we hope that customers reading this review can see there is always 2 sides to every story.
I dealt with the owner at Hallmark Cars and was treated very well, I took the car for a test drive, they gave it a full MOT, full valet and everything was as described. Excellent service and I thoroughly recommend them.

Hallmark Cars were actually really quite good, I had a problem with the brakes 3 days in and they were so understanding and helpful, they asked me to bring it down and fixed it their and then, I can't fault the service one bit.

I've known the owner of Hallmark cars for years and its always reassuring to purchase a car from somebody you know and trust, I can say with confidence he is very picky about what cars he buys in and sells and takes pride in what is on his forecourt. I definitely recommend him.

This is the second car I've had from Hallmark Car Sales, I went back to this dealership based on previous good experiences and I'd happily go back again still. I dealt with a different lad who wasn't quite as good as the chap I'd dealt with previously but the car is fine hasn't had any problems too major.
