I saw a car advertised at Hambridge Lane Motor Company and liked it, after speaking with Andy I took him at his word and transferred £500 as a securing deposit. As with all 2nd hand car purchases I did an HPI check just before completing the transaction and low and behold it was a CAT D ... apparently this was new to Andy. The car was not advertised as a CAT D Andy will not return the £500 and is now sending abusive messages.

I brought a car from Hambridge Lane Motor Company with MOTOROLA and when the paperwork arrived from DVLA the car was a cat D write off.When I took it back,Andy the owner turned aggressive and tried to intimidate me.I looked around several cars that all haday damage and checked the number plates with DVLA and found out that they were all write offs.The company has changed names on many occasions and now has been reported to trading standards and are also being investigated by the police.I am awaiting court date for full refund details. All other kind reviews I believe are fake as have spoken to many people who have had the same experience. I believe MOTs are dodgy and cars are not fit for the road.

Well I've bought another car from Hambridge Lane Motor Company and along with the other 5-6 car's I've purchased I've not had any problems and I can only say you get what you pay for cars and service are great.

Hambridge Lane Motor Company were rude, aggressive and the cars were second rate. The seller was a large chap.. He also kept changing his name while on our visit between Gary & Andy. He has also changed the name to Bargain cars. I would advise to avoid at all costs.

Had to take these crooks to court and thankfully we won. they were awful to deal with right off the bat but since we thought the car we spotted was such a good deal, we persevered, they told us the ford we picked was the best on the lot but it broke down within a couple of days. garage told us it was too far gone to bother repairs. asked for a refund over the phone and they were again rude and unpleasant. they agreed to a refund if we brought the car back and refused to cover the cost of moving the car, even though legally they are obliged to do so.

Bought a car they said they would put it through the mot so came back to collet after mot was done thought had a good car tell it started making grinding noises not long after I had & I had a light on my dashboard so booked it in for a service at my local garage who told me it was a death trap shouldn't of passed the mot as I have no breaks body is rusted up so bad that the suspension is going to go through the body of the car. Just been very lucky that it hasn't gone while I've been driving it with my grandkids inside. they are just rip off. would tell everyone to stay away wouldn't even give them 1* if I could it would be -10*

I can only as assume the glowing reviews were left by the owners of Hambridge Lane Motor Company. Uust type their name into your facebook search bar and you can see all the people who have been burned by these guys. Our car broke down within 3 days, took it to a garage and was told that if you knew anything about cars then you should have known it was on its last legs. it was even leaking oil! they are terrible to deal with, awful customer service, so it's hard to talk through your problems with them. avoid at all costs.

I purchased a lovely Astra from Hambridge Lane Motor Company, they were not pushy at all but were there to answer any question. Great car & great service, would defiantly recommend them!!

Bought a little clio recently and very happy with every aspect of my experience with Hambridge Lane Motor Company. The car is great and the service was bar none. Would highly recommend if your looking for a cheap runabout like me. Very happy :)
