Bad customer service and no interest in me after I bought the car. The car had multiple small issues even if it is still under warranty. The person that sold it to me not even answered my calls afterwards nor called me back. They are just a SALES department so do not believe you matter. Sadly this is what happened to me. There would be other things to mention but I do not see the point in mentioning them. I do not want to harm anybody with the review but it is fair that people know about Audi Harold Wood and how their attitude changes after you have bought the car.

Went into Harold Wood Audi on 29th Jan to see what the 2018 Q5 were like as I was planning on selling my 2010 Q5 TDI. Ended putting a £1000 deposit on an Audi Q3 Black Edition and it was in Norwich branch. The salesman highlighted that Harold Wood was part of Group1 Audi and Norwich was part of that group, so they could bring the car down for me to see. Deposit was subject to viewing and driving. After I paid the deposit, they were keen to remind me that it costs money to bring the car down so I have to be serious about buying it (so me paying £1000 is not serious?!) The following day, I called them to check how long they can hold the car for and was told 3 days is the average. When I called the Norwich branch on the following Saturday, they said they had sold the Q3 days ago. No one from Harold Wood Audi called me before they sold - as I had paid £1000 to secure the car, and no-one called me afterwards to let me know they had sold it and offer my refund. When I called Harold Wood Audi, they told me that because I asked how long can they hold it for, they considered that I was not serious, so sold it ! I asked for my refund and was told they would process it. I called again on 5th Feb and was told by James it was being processed. I went in 1 week later and was again informed by James it was in being processed. I wrote a review to see if that would anything - no response. Finally, the refund came through on 21 February and today I got a payment slip from Audi Harold Wood stating they only processed the refund on 21 Feb. So they lied to me for weeks and held onto my £1000 deposit for 3 weeks. Really bad service - all they seem to want to do is get those sales in. What is the point of a £1000 deposit to secure a car if the dealership can sell it without asking you to release it? Bunch of wide boys who rely on customers who really want to buy the Audi brand - they could not even tell me if the Q3 had a drive belt, chain, what bhp it had or what type of suspension was fitted as standard. I knew more than they did - could have just done all this at home. Very annoyed with their customer service and behaviour.

Bought a used few week old car. WRONG PLATES SAY NAV DONT WORK HANDS FREE DONT WORK SPEED SIGNAGE DONT WORK WAS NOT ADVISED IT WAS A FEE PAYMENT TO REGISTER THE CAR AFTER IT HAD BEEN IN THE HANDS OF AN AUDI EMPLOYEE. IF ITS TO BE LOOKED AT I HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK .... ALL A BIT OF A MESS BUT THATS THE CAR INDUSTRY FOR YOU.

I sent them a simple email asking about availability for servicing my car seen as their website was not showing available dates. Despite chasing this up twice, this email was apparently too much for them and they literally just ignored it. Do you want the business or not? I get the impression that they simply do not care. I had a terrible experience with Chelmsford Audi last year and now I am just wondering if Audi UK as a whole are just terrible for customer service. I’ll use my local dealer instead.

The customer service we have received from Audi Harold wood is disgusting. We didn’t receive a chassis tag when we purchased the car a year ago. Tried chasing several times. The salesman we originally had, left. No one was calling me back. I finally get through to someone a year later and they tell me I have no evidence on email of the request so I will need to pay around £50 for the chassis tag! Also when taking the car in for a problem the service department sped in the car which showed on the black box and we were penalised with insurance. I’ve bought Audi’s for years. I will never buy it recommend anyone using Audi Harold wood ever again.

This is by far the worst business I have ever dealt with. Jodie in the service department is so rude, if you try to call them you are either told the person you need is busy or the phone just rings and then they hang up. I'm not sure what is going on there but they seriously need some customer service training and proper management. I will never ever return to this Audi and I advise that anyone else steers clear.

Car is just 6 months old when I discovered the car had the wrong numberplate put on when new and I have been driving around with false plates. Correct plates now fitted but no proper apology given from Harold Wood Audi.
“Right where do I start with Harold Wood Audi. Bought a car in January 2019 from Harold wood and what followed was the worst service from the dealer. Seems like all they wanted was to sell the car and that’s it, there job was done. Well after I got my car I found out 3 weeks later that the car was miss built. The back armrest did not have a cup holder and the storage compartment which I should of had. When I first called up, all they said to me is go to the dealer and show it, so I booked my self in but had to wait until April 2019 to see a dealership due to waiting for a loan car (ridiculous). After it was reviewed the lady said to contact Audi uk as they need approval, which I did and I had to raise a complaint. They really messed my complaint, first they were contacting the wrong person as the case handler was calling a different number and then he spoke to the manager from where I got the car - Rob from Harold wood Audi. Now I remember this guy called me when i was first buying my car to sell me the add on.he was really polite and very helpful when I was buying my car. However since I bought my car, Rob refused to help me get the right armrest fixed because the car was sold as “described “ or something and point blank refused to help me. Now In this situation it is his choice if he wants to help me and authorise the right armrest to be fitted but guess what, because there was no business coming from me, he diidnt help me and he said it was as “described” which wasn’t true. Rob the manager- absolutely appalling how he treated me and the service I got. Trust me I came from bmw and the service I got there was 100 times better than AUDI. I raised another complaint with finance company and they said I took to much to come to them to complaint that’s why they won’t help which in-fact I was told to call up the dealership to show them first and went round in circles for the last 5 months. But Rob admitted that the car was miss-built yet no actions taken again. I had a case handler “Mizan Ali”. absolutely shocking and such appalling customer service, I don’t know how he got the job. Overall my experience with Audi was shocking. From the dealer from Audi uk and from the finance company, seems like when the car is sold, they never wanna help there customers. I have given false hope and all I want is the my original arm rest which should have been coming with the car anyway!! And look at all the running around I’m doing. This is not the full review and if I was to explain every detail then I will be writing tons more due to the experience and misleading information I have been given. Absolutely disgusted with AUDI. Overall from the point of sale - there was no help from anyone in Audi. I would defo recommend other dealers like Sytner BMW Which has great customer service. This might just been my experience and other people had a good one, but I thought il express how I was been treated because when shit hits the fan, this is how Audi will treat you. Be wary where you buy your car because the dealer will not help you. Thanks Rob , thank you for making me a valued customer when I bought the car from you !!!”

This is the email I sent to Harold Wood Audi to which I still haven't had a reply/apology. I just wanted you to know that your dealership missed out on a sale to the value of £32,000. I came into your showroom (you’re less than 10 miles from my home) with my wife and was made to feel like I couldn’t afford one of your vehicles, this was based on the way I was dressed (jeans and a polo shirt) and on my wife’s car, a Fiat 500. I was promised I would receive regular updates on what cars had become available for sale but didn’t get a single email. I did explain to the ‘sales’ person that my car, a Range Rover Vogue, would be used in part x but I was waiting for it to be repatriated from Spain. Last month, bought a Q7 (which I’m loving) for £32k., the sales person, was a joy to work with and I am happy that she has earned a decent commission from my sale. I clearly can afford one of your vehicles but unfortunately for you, it will be a cold day in hell before I set foot in your showroom again. Your sales people could do with learning that, you should never judge a book by its cover.
I took my Audi to Harold Wood Audi and received excellent service The staff are very helpful and professional. Thanks to you all.
