Harrots Nissan Wakefield. We got to a deal on a Nissan Leaf. So I decided to do a car check for £7.99 to see if there is any finance on it or been involved in a crash. After phoning Nissan back up to leave my £250 deposit then they said I have to pay £99 Admin fee for my cash sale. Why did they not mention it before I’m now £7.99 out of pocket and I traveled. 85 miles to view the car.... I will not be having a Nissan Leaf now.

I visited you Wakefield branch on Saturday to view a silver 2014 plate Nissan Pathfinder arranged by phone earlier in the week with Andy in sales. My wife and I originally purchased a Pathfinder from Wakefield in 2009 and the service and vehicle was exceptional. We arrived with intention of part exchanging our vehicle and driving away in the new one. We were greeted by Paul in sales who led us to the vehicle. At this point I would like to invite senior management or the dealer principal to personally inspect the vehicle because what my wife and I discovered is still hard to comprehend. In brief the faults we saw before we walked away and left in horror were - Chrome wheel nuts had rusted. Rear bumper had been resprayed with what looked like a aerosol can considering the finish with over spray over the exhaust tail pipe. Rear tyres had been replaced with a cheap chinese budget brand. The rear of the vehicle inside with scrapes in the floor and side panels looked like it had been used as a van. The drivers foot well carpet had either been on fire or had a hole in it. The nearside front of the vehicle had been in a scape , with paintwork damage. The engine bay had been drenched in so much silicon shine spray Im surprised it hadnt slipped out of the engine bay. The general valet the vehicle had recieved was shocking. We left at this point but seriously please check this vehicle for yourself because we were VERY disapointed indeed. It looks like our second visit to purchase a car will be our last with yourselves. Yours very disapointedly Paul & Mary Woodin
To start on a positive the car I bought is fantastic and very hard to find. Now to the negatives. They told a few white lies in regards to the amount of previous owners, I was told it had a full service history which also turned out to be false. The fixtures for the side steps had been cut off, I presume by the previous owner but this wasn't made known to me before purchase. They tried to under sell me on my part exchange and after I argued with basic reason they promptly upped there offer considerably, i know negotiation is a part of car buying but that felt like a simple attempt to rip me off. If you're going to this dealership make sure you do your research as transparency seems to be an issue.
