Harrogate Audi are really good at selling you a car and that is where it ends. Once you have purchased the car, the staff are no longer helpful, they don’t care, are rude, lie, bully and I have to say are THE worst ever company to deal with. The comments I have made can all be backed up by the evidence I have accumulated from recorded conversations and correspondence that has been kept !
AVOID Harrogate Audi! They were very helpful to sell us a car but there is no aftercare and poor customer service !! The sunroof exploded while driving down the motorway at 70mph.......(the car is 2 years old). We were told that it must have been impact damage that caused this to occur, even after they admitted there was no evidence of impact and that it was not covered by warranty. We have only had this car 1 year and 6 months.The bill came to £1200! After challenging them they offered us a part ‘good will gesture’ to reduce the cost to half. We were told several different things from a number of different people. We had no proof that the warranty had said no to paying for the work, so we asked the service manager Lexi, to send the forms that were submitted. After agreeing twice to send over the forms that apparently had been sent to warranty they were not received. To date we have never received them. We have been lied too on more than one occasion and eventually threatened that if we do not pay for the work or remove the car from their workshop, that it was going to be put outside, where it could get wet. This was said in a conversation that was recorded between someone acting on our behalf and the service manager Lexi and during a later conversation with Audi UK . After having no choice we had to let them do the work. If you ever decide to deal with Audi in Knaresborough, ensure you record any conversations you have, keep all e mails, as they have lied and bullied throughout this incident. Strong words I know but we have recorded proof !! We are currently taking further advise to determine our next steps as the proof that we have now collated make for a court case against them. I will never be using Audi again and have had amazing assistance from Arnold Clark in York, who have supported us in finding a conclusion to this awful situation. Please please be careful when dealing with this appalling company, who think nothing of treating their customers despicably, with distain, contempt and are happy to lie in order to get what they want, a sale without looking after their customer after they have purchased from them.
Disgusting service and horrible trip to Harrogate Audi, Shocking & Unbelievable such a nice dealership but no care for the world, felt diabolical with the buying experience, called next day to inform manager/staff promised a call back next morning but still awaiting??? Once you buy a car its aftercare service is non existence you are on your own literally...BE AWARE. sold me a car with so many issues and it was an approved used Audi these guys claim to say keep away & well clear as just after your money....I had to sell the car privately, unbearable and disgusting....

Had a problem with a number plate (discolored). Attended the show room and explained the problem. Had a replacement fitted with 15 minutes. All staff at Harrogate Audi were friendly, special thanks to Joe who sorted it.
I have bought a car from Harrogate Audi and had cars serviced by them, in fact my Audi was there a few months ago for a gearbox service. Yesterday i rang because i had a query regarding some work they had done...service team was busy, so i left my number and was promised a call back...4 hours later no call...so i rang back...same result...busy we will call you back...its now midday the following day and i have no call, the impression i get that is if they are not making money from you they are not interested....i think i will seriously considering taking my car elsewhere
I bought my car from Harrogate Audi late in 2013. I have used them for servicing, MOT and any other work required. My car has been damaged twice whilst in for servicing, damage to both boot seals a d damage to the steering wheel. Both times they have brushed me off with "general wear and tear" and that they didnt damage my car. No care for customer satisfaction, once they have your money they are not interested.

bought Audi new from Harrogate Audi, no problems at time. Now three years old. Get impression can't be bothered with me, quoting ridiculously priced MOT, having advised me to get one early before making future decisions. Also, very unhelpful on options for buying a new car - no sense of any care or interest in me as a customer and no real explanation as to what options might be good to consider. Feel really let down. Now having to pay for a very expensive service, which is due, while I ponder and research where to go from here. (although I bought a new car, there were two points on which I was misinformed before purchase hence the 4 rather than 5 stars for 'as described')| Others have used the word 'arrogant' Reluctantly, I have to agree - that's how they come across.
I had vowed never to give Audi Harrogate the time of day again but I thought they couldn't be still that arrogant; Wrong ;It bewilders me the levels that Audi Harrogate will go to to alienate and insult their customers. My car is now 3 years old and I was looking to buy a new one. Like most people I work and as such decided to have a look at the forecourt at 20 past 8 on a very light clear evening. All of a sudden this aggressive voice came over a tannoy telling me to vacate the premises immediately, no please, no asking just aggression.My Avante car was in plain view and I was with my wife and son; hardly vandals. I have finally had enough of this tinpot company and it's a BMW 320 for me
This has to be our best experience of car buying we have ever had. Arrived to look at the new Q2 and nothing was too much trouble. We were asked if we would like a coffee or drink & were promptly brought one & sandwiches & delicious cake as well. We were taken out for a test drive,not just a brief one but a good long drive where we could really get to grips with it. Needless to say we bought one with what we thought was a very good deal. Highly recommend Harrogate Audi.
I am a Sytner customer who has just been told to "keep my eyes peeled on the website" having missed two cars that had been sold but still appear on the website at Harrogate!!!!! Its OK I wont waste your time because you are apparently prepared to waste mine!
