Aweful experience. Bought a service plan with new BMW in March 2019. Harry Fairbairn GIFFNOCK refused to service more than once. Paperwork states includes MOT but then was told “not included “. Staff at service centre gave in correct advice last month during brake oil change about when my next service would be due. Went back after the required mileage was done but refused service again. Now the service plan is expiring. No consideration given about less mileage made due to covid lockdown. My car states service due in about 2000 miles but these guys still refused. At the end it appears i paid £399 for one service we only. Wasted so much time revisiting the dealer for servicing as per advice by their own staff after getting the required mileage to be refused again. FEEL CHEATED BY THIs COMPANY. Guys please avoid buying the service plan and also stay away from Harry Fairbairn Giffnock if you can
Purchased a BMW 5 Series from BMW Giffnock and the entire process was easy and simple. Everyone I spoke with from sales staff and managers to the Genius that went through the car with me. Could not have asked for a better experience. Will certainly be back!

I recently bought a car from Harry Fairbairn Giffnock and from the Receptionist to the Sales Staff and Management I can honestly say that everyone was absolutely fantastic! I would definitely recommend them as they have a great selection of cars, great pricing and all the staff are very knowledgeable. We spent time with a Product Genius who was also brilliant! We will be back for our next car for sure.
Visited reception & asked to see used X5 BMW. Receptionist spoke to salesman & told us he would be out to see us. 20 minutes later, no salesman. I’m sorry but if I’m about to spend 50 to 60k on a car, I expect better service. Your loss Harry Fairbairn.

Got a car grom these guys , with a service plan which was valied only in their branches, wasent told that when i was sold the £800 plan. I move to england, and now i cant use it as its valied only at their brances. The ASsistant manager was very rude, it was talking to a brick wall. No help at alll, just simple pointing the finnger and saying you should jave read the terms. After a whole day of searching i got a chance to speak to the manager, well he said he will try, but after chasing for a 6 weeks , and finalky getting to speak to him. The answer was a simple so sorry cant help. Which to me was just seemed like he didnt even try, and that was after waiting for like 6 weeks. Now i am stuck with £800 car service pla and i cant even use it. Which means for the next 4 years every time i service the car i pay 370 pounds out of my pocket. This is not right. As when they sold me the car, they didn not mention that i ciudnt us this pla in England as there was no HF service centers there. Now i am stuck here, no help and defeated. THANKS A!!! Never dealing with these gus again NEVER
Absolutely shocking service from this dealership. Very rude sale staff, seems like a highly pressured sales environment. How is this garage approved BMW? Ray in sales extremely rude and disconnected call. Another sales advisor agreed a price, I've called back the next week as promised and they've said that the offer is no longer available. Spoke to the sales manager James who kept talking over me, didn't care about the service provided by staff and refused to allow me to discuss with store manager. Wouldn't dream of buying a car from here. Nowhere near the service provided by a proper BMW dealer - this dealership is owned by Arnold Clark. AVOID!

Arranged a test drive last Sunday. I appreciate they had issues that day due to what I was told was a burst pipe. Sat about for an hour as even though after emails and two phone calls the prior Thursday they didn't have any record of my booking for a test drive. Waited another 20mins to speak to someone after test drive then gave spec I require on new car and was told I would be contacted Monday or Tuesday. Nothing!!!!! Went to the competition and placed an order on a £46k car today! Remember Harry Fairbairn when it was an independent dealer, was great,,, typical Arnold Clark... bunch of amateurs.
Serviced my car and billed me for 671£. They messed up my bonnet and asked me to pay 345£ to fix this. Never will visit them again. Stay away

I have been a Mercedes buyer/driver for the past 20 yrs loyal as they come both, my wife and I. 14 brand new mercs over the years. Time for a change. Spent an hour plus with a very nice salesman on my wifes day off. Got the figures and went home to make the decision do we leave merc. Returned the following day to do the deal and finalize some figures. Told when I arrived that a customer had shown interest in the car that I was in to finalize. After an hour of back and forward trying to get my numbers to where we needed them I was told the car is sold. Felt used and was being held as a safety net should the other guy not get the finance. After airing my views I was told First come first served.....Hello I was here yesterday and back today ....am I missing something, Yes Mercedes. It would never have happened with them. Sorry BMW Giffnock not good customer service. Showed your true colours !!! its the sale not the customer that takes preference.
