Bought a 21 plate 320 x-drive M sport Pro, only 50 miles on clock, so how did it have over 500 when I collected it ? I have owned BMW in the past, but this was HORRIBLE to drive in any of the settings, NOT comfortable at all, wanders all over the road, when its windy its worse, interior finish blinds you when sun hits it, you can feel the stitching on your back even although these were the top spec seats, the key fob is bigger than the climate control panel, the safety features on this car would rather you hit something or someone rather than go over a white line, this feature needs switched off before every journey, still waiting on a phone call from Manager AUGUSTENOS NENOS McKAY to discuss options of returning the car or having one of their technicians to take me out in the car to show me how to drive it as he has never come across anyone who does not like a 3 series BMW !!! I will wait and see if I ever get the phone call but in the mean time will tell everyone of my experience with Harry Fairbairn aswell as my advice on really driving a BMW for more than half an hour if possible, I was still within my 14 day no quibble return which was ignored, my 30 day return was ignored so had no option but to sell the car and purchase another make from a professional dealer, I will be contacting BMW UK aswell as Munich about this dealer, not liking a car is perfectly normal as everyone has different tastes, likes etc. but to be insulted with I need training on how to drive the car properly is frankly a joke, the internet is full of BMW drivers pleading to have software updates to sharpen the steering and to adjust the steering intervention settings, we can't all be wrong or are we ? My previous 3 series was better to drive and the build quality was far superior too so maybe now I know where the 55kg weight saving on the new g20 model is, build quality is shocking, my 9 year old van is far superior and my new car, Audi A4 is miles ahead as was the 3 I had before that, the ultimate driving machine for me at least is weekends Audi A4, during the week a Renault Master Sport, we buy any car took ours aswell as 3 other bmw and a mini all in one afternoon from same depot. Enough said.
Just this week bought a used BMW 5 GT from Fairbairns in Irvine, the sales person Connor was excellent, with any used car you do expect some level of wear and tear of which there was, however every imperfection we could find was repaired prior to purchase making the car as good as new. The buying experience was enjoyable with no hard sell tactics and a fair asking price for the vehicle.
Would just like to say a massive thank you to Fraser Neilson sales team I am delighted with my new BMW 4series grand coupe Fraser made everything as smooth as possible from start to finish. I appreciate how difficult things are right now and Fraser went the extra mile. Would definitely recommend the branch.

This is the second car we bought from Harry Fairbairn ,when we were going through the paper work I asked if there would be a service plan on this car we were told by the assistant that there would be as our previous car had one and we would not have taken the car without it ,I contacted Harry Fairbairn (Irvine ) to complain and felt the manager Steven Walsh was quite patronising.After contacting customers services, because there was nothing on our paperwork we took it for granted that everything was in place for us as told by our sales assistant .was so angry at the fact that they had given us misleading information . I certainly won’t be buying another car from this dealer in future if they can treat their (Valued Customers) in this way .

Never ever use Harry Fairbairn BMW Irvine. They mis-sold me a 320 xDrive and substituted it with another vehicle from the one I test drove, the one I agreed to purchase. They also refused to inform me as to who the previous keeper was, despite me asking several times. I am certain that the vehicle had been in fact a RENTAL CAR. I submitted a written formal complaint to the general manager. He telephoned admitting the mis-selling and arrogantly told me he was refunding all my money. Instead of trying to find me an alternative vehicle, with money changing, either way, he very arrogantly dismissed me and couldn't get rid of me fast enough. I have lodged a formal complaint with BMW in Munich and they are currently investigating this ROGUE dealership. BEWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Recently brought a BMW 320D Msport + from Harry Fairbairn BMW in Irvine! I paid for the car and additional fees to have the car transported to the midlands as that's closer for me to collect. Delivery arranged for a Monday... Monday came my salesman wasn't working and the Sales manager had no idea what was going on or been arranged. So I called the " click and collect" depot and they had no record of My car being booked in. So here I am 16000 out of pocket and still no car!!!

You are the same as me. I was mis-sold a BMW 320 XdRIVE with nowhere near the spec of the car test driven, the one I agreed to buy. They swapped the cars, and thought I would not notice. They are cheats and liars. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE.
My Mini Clubman was in for boot door adjustment today 20/12/2017 under warranty. Service I was given was excellent staff were friendly and considerate. A customer.very satisfied
I bought a 2013 BMW X1 from Harry Fairbairn BMW in Irvine for over £15500 in Feb 2017 unfortunately I have a brain tumor and unable to drive my son contacted the dealer to see if they could give me a reasonable deal I was gutted to learn they would offer me £11200 that is £4000+ drop on the price I gave what a rip off this is a second hand car we are talking about. I have several friends who have bought new car from the this dealer and are totally in disbelief how they have handled my situation if the dealer wishes to re consider I am sure he knows who I am and a letter in the post would be nice. Very very disgruntled customer I am not holding my breath for a response to this review. And my name is John.

Everyone should avoid these ROGUE DEALERS at ALL costs. They are currently under investigation from BMW, Munich.
Harry Fairbairn in Irvine were great, the customer service was excellent and more importantly the car is excellent. I'm struggling to find a complaint and so I can more than happily give my recommendation to anyone reading my review.
