I Purchased my 2014 Jeep wrangler from Harvey on 18/08/2022. I gave my Kia Sportage which was still on finance and a settlement was needed on the vehicle. All documents were provided to Harvey's. Upon receiving the Jeep, it was filthy with black mould on the inside roof. A mud flap was loose and damaged. I had to request these things get repaired. I drove off qith the vehicle and while driving home I noted my rear shocks were extremely hard hitting on slight bumps. When I got home I checked the undercarriage of the vehicle and saw the shocks were rusted beyond belief and needed replacing. I did so and had them replaced. I called harveys and they had a million stories. But back to my absolute nightmare of a experience. I get a call on 16/09/22 from my finance company saying I missed a payment for my Kia Sportage. I was very surprised as that was meant to have been settled by Harvey's. The agent from the finance company informing me that it will effect my credit profile as it is a missed payment and overdue. To then be told I'm in breach of my fiance agreement. I called Harvey's on 16/09/22 asking what was happening and informing them of what has happened. The Management informs me that it was a oversight/missed as the sales agent didn't give the settlement figure to whomever or whatever. After calling and being pushed from pillar to post and trying to shift blame to the salesman. Management of Harvey's do not stick to their promises to return calls or fix issues with my new Jeep....... I have never been so messed around by a "Professional " car dealer like this in my entire life!!!! Pathetic customer service. In fact it's not Pathetic as it doesn't exist. I have since contacted a Solicitor as I will not be taken advantage of or be treated like a fool. Good luck Harvey's!

Seems to be a common theme with Harvey's , I've just had the same poor customer experience.wished I'd read your review earlier.
So we down graded our car for one from Harvey’s. I we px’d our ford s-max for a ford ka and as the s-max was worth more that left us with £2800 in cashback which they told us they don’t usually do but would in this occasion. So swapped the cars on a Sunday morning and was told that accounts was closed and it would be sorted Monday. Monday came no money so giving them the benefit waited until Tuesday again it wasn’t in so rang back and got some guff about losing my account details which they already had. Spoke to the duty manager and he assured me it would be in Wednesday. No money Wednesday so rang back Thursday and spoke to Steve the branch manager he assured me it would go in today and he would ring back when it did, I got no phone call or money. Eventually spoke to Harvey on Friday who undeservedly had to deal with an upset me and he eventually managed to get my money in my bank. Thank you Harvey. Overall an absolute shambles. The customer service is diabolical the staff on the whole do not care I’m just glad I wasn’t buying a £90,000 Bentley. If I had read the reviews I would never have gone in the first place. Absolutely avoid at all costs.

Seeing some of these reviews I had a relatively lucky escape it seems. But my experience was just as bad. I purchased a car at the start of the year through finance with this dealer. Not 24 hours after taking it away the EML light started to come on and the car would struggle. Told the dealer and they offered the minimal repair which I knew wouldn’t fix the issue. Had an independent inspection done on the car and found a myriad of other problems. So attempted to return the car. They constantly ignored me and promised they’d collect but never did. My saving Grace was that the finance company were fighting my corner strongly and helped me get them to collect the car. It’s taken over 6 months to get my money back and the dealer didn’t even pay me the finance company did in the end. I sent countless emails to several people over the last few months with no replies from any of them. Stay well clear. I wrote a review on Google and that has somehow disappeared and only the good reviews show. PLEASE READ ALL THESE REVIEWS AND DO NOT BUY FROM HARVEYS.
The car in 3 months has required £10 000 of repairs we only paid £12 000. We are left without a car, very little savings and so upset at the callous way this dealer has sold a car that was faulty and has no shame to even care! We have no car and having to use public transport.
Fraudster autocar sales company. DO NOTbuy your car from here. Fraudulent service history on cars sold, mechanical faults with car whilst driving off the forecourt and told to get it fixed locally or call WARRANTYWISE (a company endorsed by Quentin Wilson but do not act on their service) a policy you are forced to buy whilst purchasing car. The Premium Harvey's charge turned out to be double what warrantyWise would otherwise have charged if bought direct but fee is massaged in purchase price of car which also p/ex to complicate the maths,. Tried calling post sales however my salesman karim says needs to refer to Steve who needs to refer to Lisa who needs to refer to Tom who needs to refer to owner who eventually does not respond. Bought car 3 months ago. Worst experience of buying a second hand car. This dealer should be investigated and put on notice. to make a louder voice all review below should be posted on trust Pilot.

Purchased a car through these guys under finance. Was told the “damage” on the car would be fixed within 14 days.. called, emailed. Never got fixed. Refused the car back. CHECK THE MOT STATUS!!!!!!!! our MOT failed and passed THE SAME DAY and we received the car WITH THE DAMAGE that was supposedly fixed on the mot!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!! Now left with an awful car and stuck in a finance contract!!!! DISGUSTING people

Agreed a price, and warranty level, shared pictures of the policy and the level. Car broke down within a day of leaving Harveys Autos, engine management light - the warranty was worthless, they had put me on a different level than agreed when purchasing. Took car back at my own cost, fixed the light - 1 week later engine management light back on. Worst customer service I have experienced. Warranty never resolved despite many promises to do so.

Phoned about a car advertised, was told to just come down and view (no appointmnet needed) but after reading reviews I phoned again to double check car was on site to be told it hadn't even come in yet, took my number and promised me a phone call when it was prepped and I would have first viewing when ready, fast forward 3 months and car is still for sale and I spent my £27000 somewhere else and so glad I did having read all the bad reviews

The worst dealership I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I should have known this would happen when I collected the car only to be told the MOT hadn't been done. Various faults on the car within the first week, refused a refund despite being covered under the Consumer Act 2015. Paid £15k, I've had no car for nearly a week as they've been repairing the faults, they supplied a courtesy car which was battered and their way of dealing with customers that have issues is to ignore them as still waiting for a callback despite requesting one over a dozen times! Angry and frustrated doesn't cut it, in the process of legal action following advice from citizens advice! STAY AWAY!!!

Absolutely awful customer service. I put a deposit on a car that I was going to view and after reading some awful reviews we changed our mind and tang and asked for a refund. I had to ring every day for 9 days as I hadn't been refunded, each day they told me they had done it when they hadn't, they even put the phone down on me one day! I started off very patient and by the 9th day when the sales manager seemed to deny all knowledge of ever speaking to me I lost my patience. I did get my money back but it was hard work!
