Went to view a car at Harveys Autos after driving all over the pot hole car park after reading reviews don't think I will bother sounds like no afters ales and leave you with a bad car if anything goes wrong thank goodness for reviews I read.
Harveys Autos are absolutely beyond useless! Customer service and after-sales 0 stars. When you purchase a £23k car, do you expect it to have an Engine Management Light on the day after? Well, I was gifted the day after to a lovely EML. Considering the vehicle had just been MOT'd at their own MOT garage, this seemed odd. I was told by Scott it just needs a "reset" and it'll go away, after going to get it diagnosed the cause of it was down to a malfunctioning coolant thermostat, so this needed replacing. I rang Scott and was told to send them the quotes so they could rectify this fault. I was initially told that if I wanted to return the vehicle, I couldn't as the money was transferred from the finance company to the dealer, surely this was a reversible action? I was told to get quotes and get back to them. So, I purchased the new part from Mercedes, got a quote for labor from a local garage and sent them it. Scott then rang me to ask for the V5 document from the vehicle I part exchanged, I sent this the same day along with the quotes for the EML work. I've got no reply since, rang 4 times and emailed 3 times. They only care when you're buying the vehicle or they want something from you, if you have faults with the vehicle good luck getting them to cough up and pay for the repair! They most definitely cleared codes before the vehicle was test driven and MOT'd. I'd advice anyone to purchase a vehicle from an alternative dealership unless you want to be chasing a problem, which is their duty to repair.

I feel your pain but luckily or unluckily I only lost the £200 deposit (which they advise verbally is refundable but GET IT IN WRITING its not) rather than proceeding with the heap of junk they were trying to peddle off their forecourt. listed 12 faults at test drive, Buyer beware if you are looking for a dealer who has your best interest, go elsewhere. They have all the excuses, dealership just changed hands, (companies house suggests otherwise) salesman has since left, 4 days later? Verbal agreement so not interested, they even admitted the already had a deposit on the car but the buyer had not responded and they had LOADS! of interest in the car. Just beware before you buy and part with any money. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING FIRST.
Harveys Autos are completely untrustworthy, they failed to undertake even the simplest of jobs prior to collection, their 5* Warranty covers virtually nothing. Salesmen don’t return calls, once they have your money they will not do anything to rectify any faults. Do not use them, avoid at all costs

I have to say my bad experience to everyone who wants buy the car from Harveys Autos , i have bought the ranger rover evoque few weeks ago , and the front lock door was broken just when I took the car home . The car is shaking when I want turn left or right after a day i got the car , the battery went flat twice. I asked for refund but they said they will repair the car. So I gave them the chance. The day I went to pick the car up they apparently charge the auto battery to 100% and fixed everything about it. The same day when I got to work the auto battery went flat and I couldn’t start the car again. I have tried to ask them for refund few times but they let me wait for 2 more day before the said no. Now they have the car in their garage. I have just got bad condition car so anybody thinking to buy a car from them just be ready ask them for the refund policy first, for me it made me so upset. It has been nearly 2 weeks without any car...

Hello, Please see the google review customer left and my response Car has been repaired and customer was given the same car to drive in Range Rover Evoque whilst car was being repaired. Since car was collected i havent heard any further issues reported. Harveys Autos always try to sort any issues with cars to the best of our ability.

Bought a car from Harvey’s Autos and part exchanged my old car , thought everything was ok until after 9 weeks of waiting for the log book to come decided to ring to enquire where it was . Phoned loads of times to be told they would ring back . Still waiting on a call back each time I ring just get fobbed off . Also receiving parking tickets for the car I traded in which is still in my name because it went to auction ??? Appalling after service DO NOT USE AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!!!!!

We have also experienced the same issue around the log book. We thought it had been completed online when we were present at the garage. We called the DVLA today and they explained that we weren’t the registered owners and now we have to pay to update this information. Although they are a friendly bunch who don’t hassle you to purchase cars, they are clearly lacking in professionalism.
I have recently bought an SUV from Harveys Autos and I was very impressed with their knowledge of a huge range of vehicles. They are friendly and certainly go the extra mile for their customers. If they haven't got what you are looking for in stock they go out and find one for you. Every car that leaves them has an AA check to ensure there is no nasty surprises. They serviced it, MOTd it and valeted it. I would recommend them whole heartedly. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for making buying a car stress free.

Paid Harveys Autos full asking price for an auto C Max. When I picked it up the two jobs I'd asked them to do hadn't been done and on the way home the auto gearbox failed at 70mph on the motorway. They claimed it was my responsibility to return the vehicle to them, which is contrary to the consumer rights act 2015. I also had to make a complaint to the AA and use their mediation service to get my money refunded. Be wary.

Harveys Autos made buying my car really simple and hassle free would recommend to my family and friends.
It’s very sad to say this, but it was a very bad experience buying a car from this dealer, without telling me the history of the car and Also Selling it me without servicing the car at all that’s rubbish from a car dealership. I will never advise someone to buy a car from your garage I spend almost £1000 fixing the car .
