Called them today as I had a text saying “gear box oil change due” - got through on the phone for them to further tell me I also needed my air filter and oil filter changing too even though I have a service plan with them and just had the car in for service to be told the service plan does not cover those parts? So £50 a month for an oil change and pollen filter? Not what I expect from a main dealer. They then continue to tell me that to have the gear box change plus the air filter, oil filter changed would cost me £500 this is after they “called their manager” for the best deal but sadly as I’ve already had “discount” on the “parts” a labour rate is usually £250 an hour they can give me five percent off?! Quoted me £250 for an air filter for an a4 2020 reg, plus £66 for the oil filter the rest was oil and labour at £500 total bill. I have now refused and bought the parts directly from their supplier TPS who are genuine part suppliers for Audi /vw at a small cost of £116 inc vat. Time to stop telling lies Audi Portsmouth.

Harwoods Audi Portsmouth from Harwoods Audi Portsmouth in response to Purchase experience
Hi Sue, thanks for your kind words. Matt will be delighted with your feedback. We wish you many miles of happy motoring!
All fine buying the car (2019 RS 5)30239 Miles. But after sales not good. Chasing for the tag for the My Audi log in, that got lost in the process. Was promised that it could log in free of charge, After months of chasing turn out i had to buy a new contract for the app. Went for 1st MOT on 8th of August, 36277 Miles, passed ok, few advisories on the brakes. ("probably need changing around the next MOT next year") Service on 9th of October, 37704 Miles: Brake disks front and rear 100% worn according to Audi standards.... So over 1427 i went from advisory (MOT) to urgent action (Audi standards)?? Cost to replace £3428 I do understand that Audi standards are much higher than MOT standards and i do understand that higher performance cars come with higher price tags for parts than normal cars. I treat my Audi with respect, and not rag it round. So i bought a very nice Audi RS 5, for nearly 50K, with brakes that not even last me 1 year.. according to Audi. I know brakes are not covered under the MOT warranty, and there is enough life in them according to MOT regulations. You would think that if you spent that kind of money on a car they not sell on a daily base, even with being it a used model. You would sell that car according to Audi Standards, being a approved Audi dealer with plenty of RS models in their assortment. P.S. Dominik, you were very happy with your first RS sale.. and your probably not a technical guy like me, but when i raised the issue today, there was not very much response, only you saying that you would talk to your sales manager. And only after a while I receive a call from the service manager, who was only avoiding the subject.. I'm a man of my words.. so the purchase of an R8 is still on the cards like i said, when i bought this one. Although the missus likes a Aston Martin now.. LOL.. Either way, i won't be getting it from Harwoods!!

Audi RS5 from Harwoods Audi Portsmouth in response to Not happy after first service
Hi, the situation is very similar to yours. I also bought an Audi rs5 in Manchester Audi for over £52,000 after driving 2,000 miles. I took the car to my local Audi Portsmouth dealer where it turned out that the brake discs were 100% worn. there was a leak from the rear differential, damage to the window motor and a failure of the SOS system. I informed the Manchester Audi salesperson many times, but there was no response, the car was bought as an approved used Audi, no service history. I am disappointed. Audi Menchester , Audi Manchester has the worst reputation among all Audi dealers in the UK, don't be fooled by the salespeople and their stories, they only want to charge you a lot and collect money.
After sales service by Josef Rahmani was impeccably executed as previously stated attention to detail must be applauded This guy needs recognition and there must be a promotion in the pipeline sooner rather than later WELDONE all including the receptionist/latte girl Kindest Regards Mr Mark Dorey

We visited Audi Potsmouth and we were met by Sergey Gerbanovskiy. He was respectful and very professional. He was so helpful with finding us a car to suit our needs and all documentation concerned with the sale. All the staff were pleasant and we would definitely use Audi in the future.

Dear Shirley, we really appreciate your kind review and are glad to hear we provided you with a great experience. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch, if there is anything we can do to help in future. Have a lovely day!
We're not new to Audi - far from it given this was our 8th but new to Portsmouth Audi. Story goes, wife falls pregnant, 8months in and realises the A3 is too small so upgrade to a used Q3 from PA - Very easy sale as we know these cars inside out so little for PA to do. Test drive = several faults from sat nav not working to cracked sunvisor, Multipoint checks stating work needed to be done but wasnt, illegal tyres (nail in 1x, 1x cracked all over, 1x budget on a Quattro) Collection - none of these were rectified and to top it off, another salesman took the boot roller and book pack for another customers Q3 sale. Documents were already signed so backing out was an issue and the car otherwise was perfect. The A3 was also already signed over by now. It took a further 3 months to rectify the issues which they initially refused to take responsibility for and by this I mean, sales said "not sure what to do", aftersales said "we're not paying to fix it". It also transpired despite ticking the box that the gearbox service was carried out, it was not citing "we did not have the parts at the time and was going to do it pre-sale". Once finally the main bits were resolved, it turns out the number of owners reported by the salesman (and the initial HPI check) was 1 less than what it was by the time the logbook arrived...another lie from portsmouth audi and should have reflected on the price. In short, a complete shambles for what is meant to be a dealership reflecting Audi as a brand. You should be able to trust a dealership from Audi, trust their multipoint check, trust their staff but this was far from it - what we got is the equivalent of a rogue trader. Why did we not reject? We very nearly did but a month before the baby was due, this ordeal took a massive toll and the stress of not having a car so close to the birth was too risky given the complications. My advice? If you can, avoid them. I hate saying this during the current climate but when you have an unroadworthy car being sold by a multimillion pound dealership - something is clearly wrong. If you must go to them, please do check check and re-check. I recorded every conversation including the initial sale - without it, it would have been their word against mine. And if you do have issues they are refusing to resolve, do not leave the dealership until you have management in writing give you a solution of some sort. Bearing in mind every round 100 mile trip cost me time and money which I never got back during the rectifying of issues- unless I had it in writing I could reject the car there and then and/or get in writing the next steps, I refused to leave the dealership. Now I'm sure there will be some box standard reply to this review to which I will say, I gave Harwoods / Portsmouth Audi a chance to respond to our ordeal with a follow-up on the 19th April via email to their customerservice email address CCing a number of Harwoods managers...a month later, they have not even bothered to acknowledge. So this is who you would be dealing with if you purchase from Portsmouth Audi and in actual fact, maybe Harwoods as a group given the above. And finally from their website: We always put our customers first – that is part of the Harwoods promise - this is what they apparently pride themselves with - what a joke.

I bought an Audi TT from Portsmouth Audi in April 2019, We have done 4000 miles, it was called back for safety work to be completed where another Audi garage found so many faults I can only assume that the pre sale checks we’re not completed to any degree of quality/standard. When we approached Portsmouth Audi we received a rude email back, will not be using them again.

I really enjoyed my experience at Portsmouth Audi. Luke Maker looked after me and it was a pleasure to receive such a professional and friendly service. It was the first car I bought but Luke and the team made me feel comfortable throughout the process, exceeding my expectations.
