I rarely write reviews, however my car purchase from this so called reputable business was a joke from start to finish. Firstly Henley Cars advertise the car that isn’t even at their premises yet. When it does arrive a week or so later it’s in a really poor condition (2 alloy wheels refurbished in completely different colours) which means you have to wait even longer for them to rectify the multiple problems. I had 2 other issues with the car within my warranty period and both times was painful trying to organise them to rectify the problem. I am still waiting for a refund from them for a diagnostic report I had to carry out independently. This was well over a month ago and now they are refusing to return my calls when I chase them! I have bought many of cars from smaller independent garages and this is by far the worse experience I have had! Oh and stay clear of Sean and Barry, as soon as the car is bought they haven’t got a clue what customer service is! Do yourself a favour and pay a little extra and go to a decent dealer that doesn’t leave you ripping your hair out.
Purchased a car from this 'dealership' in good faith. The vehicle turned out to have multiple faults and accident damage. To try and cut a long story short… I picked up the car on the Monday and noticed a severe vibration from the nearside front. Initially all tyre pressures were checked but the problem still remained. On closer inspection I found that all 4 tyres were illegal (large cuts and grooves on inner side wall), nearside front wheel was buckled and multiple alignment issues and replacement panels. I took the car to an independent inspector and they confirmed these issues for me. I returned the car to the ‘dealership’, discussed the issues with a very aggressive Barry (complete contrast to when he sold the car, possibly guilt) to which he responded with some excuses and mainly ‘I can’t comment on that’. Explained that I wanted to reject the car against the Consumer Rights Act, to which he responded, ‘I can’t comment on that’. Henley Cars then wanted to carry out their own inspection with ‘Karl from down the road’ (Karl Fisher Autos Ltd) who found no damage or issues what so ever. Completely contradicting the initial report that was conducted. They drove the car off their premises onto a neighbouring business, handed me they keys and expected me to leave. I left the vehicle in that very same location and kept the keys. Luckily, the car was purchased through MotoNovo finance, so I technically don’t own the vehicle. With help from the financial ombudsman they took on the case to find whether the vehicle had sustained damage and could be rejected through the consumer rights act. They initiated a company called ACE (Automotive Consulting Engineers Limited), to conduct another technical report on the vehicle. They found all the issues that I had initially noted and more. A quote from their report ‘We can conclude based on the visible evidence that the vehicle has clearly sustained accident damage, we anticipate to the nearside front corner.’ and many others. This car should have never been sold in this condition and it should have never passed its MOT prior to the sale. It was my mistake to trust a dealership and not inspect the car correctly, but it’s their responsibility to sell vehicle that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. I strongly advise anyone not to use this company – there are plenty of good trustworthy dealerships out there. It was a long month without a vehicle and borrowing cars and its people like this, which give this used car industry a bad name. Know your legal rights, don’t back off and never allow people like this to conduct ‘Business’. Avoid Henley Cars Ltd and avoid Karl Fisher Autos Ltd.

I had exactly the same situation. Henley sold me a broken car that has not one but over 30 faults. And they are in collusion with Alphera Financial Services who reject to take the car back a week after these faults were found. The are massive fraud.
I have had my Citroen for a few months now. When I received it, it was clean and in vety good shape and a good price. The dealers have been helpful. I am having an issue with the car at the moment but that's currently being looked into. Up to now I am happy and I would recommend Henley Cars.

I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. The dealers were knowledgeable and helpful and the car was clean and in really good condition. I have had no issues with the car at all and I have had it for over 6 months.

Bought a Land Rover Freelander 2, there were a few problems with the car when I went to have a look, only cosmetic which didn't put me off buying it, but Chris wouldn't let me drive it away until they had fixed them. Very friendly people and very helpful, would happily do business with again. Had the car 8 months now and had no problems with it what so ever!
I am happy with the service I received when I went to Henley Cars. I purchased a BMW back in August. I have had one issue but the dealership paid for the parts to be changed at a local garage. I am happy with the car and the aftercare was great. I would recommend.

It's the 2nd car I've purchased from Henley Cars. As per my first visit, the sales team were helpful and readily available to answer any questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Lots of variety and competitive prices.
Wonderful service, helpful friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. I was recommended by friend who also had a great experience and no issues at all.
Do not buy a car from these. ive had a few cars in my time but this has got to be the worst dealer out there, if you have any warranty claims, they will do their up most best to steer round it. They are all cocky salesman who are happy to sell you a car, but as soon as it leaves the garage they don't want to know. I brought a corsa vxr 4 months ago and at the moment im fighting with the finance company to reject the car, because Henley cars will not buy it back as they know what has been done to it. they fitted a standard exhaust to the car to hide the fact it had been modified and remapped for more power. the clutch is noisy, theres a misfire, the negative terminal on the battery gets hot and there is a noise from the cambelt area. Henley cars was unhelpful and it was like talking to the wall with sid.
The owner / director of this dealership, Mr David Bishop, REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE the consumer rights act of October 2015, which clearly states that if the vehicle has a fault within 6 months of purchase, then in the eyes of the law, the fault was present PRIOR TO PURCHASE and therefore the dealership has a duty to put the fault right AT THEIR EXPENSE. I purchased a vauxhall insignia from these people on July 1st 2016. On October 21st the cam belt snapped. At first, the repair garage quoted £2,000 to repair. I contacted Mr bishop and he simply stated that the 90 warranty had expired. Please note the 90 day warranty is now nil and void foll6the new law introduced in October 2015. When I quoted this new law to him he said "oh. OK. I'll go 50/50 with you" why would I do that when the law states he is liable for the full amount? As it turned out, the repairs costs were just £579.24. Given that he'd offered to pay £1,000, it would seem reasonable to assume that he would be happy tof pay the new amount. I informed him. He said he would seek legal advice and get back to me by October 28th. He didn't get back to me and I've heard nothing from him since. I'll now be putting him in court and it will cost him a lot more. High court enforcement will be utilised if needed. I'll get what's owed to me by hook or by crook Mr bishop. You can be sure of it. DO NOT BUT FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.
