My step mum and I visited the VW Heritage Bristol on a sunny, but slightly chilly Saturday Afternoon. Upon arrival we were greeted by a tidy and polite mannered lady who asked us if we had an appointment. We were then escorted to a luxurious seating area where we were offered tea, coffee or a cold can of coke. Tom came over and introduced himself within minutes, He had a polite and friendly manner about him. We briefly discussed our requirements before setting off on a test drive in a new polo. We watched in owe, as Tom expertly maneuvered the vehicle out of the tight parking space. Not only was I impressed by the smoothness of the drive but the quality of the interior and finish. Tom was the perfect passenger. He informed us about the features and gadgets whilst we played general levy- ‘jungljst massive’ on the car play stereo. When we returned Tom gave us some more refreshments whilst we discussed crucial details such as financial options and the colour of the car.😋 Tom was professional and very helpful throughout and we feel like we came away with an amazing deal and I look forward to returning in the future!
After buying a brand new 2016 polo and discovering a swimming pool in my footwell they took 2 weeks investigating where it was coming from and totally dismantled the car until it was just an empty shell. The manager at the time said he would not accept it back if it was his. I rejected the car and it took 4 months fighting them and VW direct for a vehicle exchange to then discover the replacement had issues with the steering wheel/steering column constantly pinging/clicking when i moved the steering wheel. The car was booked in 4 times to be sorted. Their Customer service is so bad, not returning calls, blatantly lying and being very unhelpful. Not what you expect from VW. I seriously think there are issues with the quality of new cars since production moved to South Africa. There was another customer rejecting their polo at the same time as me for the same fault. Now thats 2 at the same branch, how many world wide? There appears to be serious staffing issues as I have seen 4 different managers in the last 12 months each time having to go through the whole story from the beginning. I cannot even begin to tell the full story in this review. Eventually I traded in my 2nd 9 month old polo as have no faith or trust in the brand. I emailed branch to tell them i had sold the car as i was not happy with their lack of support sorting out the issues. They never replied. Will never set foot in this dealership again. Would not even give them 1 star but had to to write this review.
Went to VW garage to look at getting a new car, Jansen was fantastic in helping took me round a range of different cars until I found the one right for me with the best pay plan. Will definitely be going back with my girlfriend so she can get a new car. Great customer service.
My daughter and I visited the showroom on a rainy Sunday afternoon. My daughter had her heart set on a VW Polo. We looked around a few cars on the forecourt. There were no sales people around. Two came out,after around 10 minutes, one swearing, then went back in again. Not a word said to us. We then entered the showroom where a man on the front desk asked what we were looking for. My daughter said she wanted to know what the boot space was like on a Polo. One assistant showed us the new Polo but didn’t open the boot. Another said we could look at the ones on the forecourt as one was open. Not once did anyone offer to show us. They didn’t seem to want to get wet. We looked, couldn’t find one open, so we left. We had £15k cash. They missed out. I think my daughter is looking for a Ford now.
