Went through the whole motions of agreeing finance of a BMW 318i Sports Coupe 2.0 2012 this May. Instantly found an issues with the right tire. Insisted it was at first a tire fault, we debunked that and then he insisted it was a brake problem and would be fixed for free and ready to pick up tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and now it has come to light it is actually a coil spring. No bid deal at all and again offered to be fixed within 2 days. 2 Days comes and the garage had somehow then broken the wheel hub repairing the car and will now take another 3 days to be fixed. Compensation offered of free delivery and a discounted warranty for the mistake. Delivery comes, Car driving fine on test drive. 50 miles into purchase, engine light ''Full power not available due to engine fault. Please report to your nearest BMW service'' Called up and instantly without even explaining the problem fully he insisting that it needs to be filled up with petrol and drove around for a couple of days to be fixed. It takes one quick google search to check that these are no way related. On top of this, we check the suspension and coils more closely and he has only replaced one coil. Again any google search will indicate that coil springs are replaced in pairs as the suspension and lift of the car needs to be even. Although I can not say for certain as a full BMW service was not done as we had seen enough to know this car is not road legal let alone selling worthy. But we are pretty certain the HPFP was on its way out. For the 3rd time now we are driving this car back, this time for a refund. A fair 50 mile trip from east to West London. Car returns and his excuse is this ''With all the covid-19 happenings we don't have time to check the car properly. Although car was advertised as no issues and fully serviced. Upon further inspection, the service was dated back to march when the car was purchased by us in May. (My mistake as I should have been vigilant) On top of this all, the car I had part exchanged the PREVIOUS DAY was sold on to we buy any car within hours. So after refunding I was left with no car which through persistently we got refunded the cash price we exchanged the car at. In all fairness, a refund on both the part exchange and my deposit on the finance was refunded. But the Un-professionalism and lack of knowledge about the car he sold is unforgivable. Lots of time and money wasted into the journeys for this car. This is also an AA approved dealership yet failed to meet many of the requirements an AA approved dealer must comply. All cars must be checked thoroughly and cars must be provided with a minimum of 6 months left on the MOT which again was not done and only had 4 months left. The rule when buying a car is to be vigilant of sales sharks but I was blinded by the fact this car on the test drive was great and also had no visible engine problems. But within a few miles of owning this it was clear the cracks had been either ignored, not noticed or papered over. I would say take your custom to a more reputable dealer that has a knowledge of the car he is selling. Although speculation, im pretty sure the engine light was wiped and not expected to show until our 14 day cancellation period was over. And to top it off this ''Free delivery'' Was just a part time mechanic driving the car to me. Taking my car back, and then asking for money to get petrol so he can take the car back home. Stay away unless you are ready to inspect these cars thoroughly yourself or are ready to put a lot of work into unseen issues.

We have just experienced the same problem. Purchased. car and within 70 miles service light came on and car then went into limp mode. Delivered to us with boot door pistons broken therefore unable to stay open without holding it and also passenger side window not working. This is just a few things we have had issues with after delivery.

Sorted my finance out to purchase car.drove all the way from oxford told dealer i could meet him earlier told me to wait till 2pm as in a meeting.text me at 12.58 to say car is sold even tho deposit was paid to hold car.disgusting wasted my time fuel etc no compensation!!!!

Heston Cars London were really helpful, pick me from the tube station. the car as perfect as it was in advert. For sure buy my next car from them.
Poor customer service and sold me a car which within 2 weeks needs repairs. Charges you a £90 admin fee for no reason and overcharged for insurance. An unhappy costly experience with Heston Cars London Ltd.
