The worst kind of car experience, all glossy and professional on the outside, real dubious business ethics on the inside. I bought a car at the beginning of Jan, with the reassurance the car had been serviced and also had a 52 point check done, close to the end of Jan, just 27 days after the purchase, the cam belt snapped leaving me stranded 400 miles from home. I’m now three months later and Hexon are refusing to pay me back my statutory refund as the goods where faulty at the point of sale. They refused me a courtesy car, refused to pick the car up and so far 3 months down the line, I’ve had to get a solicitor involved as they are refusing to refund me. Avoid at all costs.

I went to these guys, and Seb was straight to the point. Asked me what i wanted to buy and the budget. I was happy with the car i got. No fuss, no sales pitch. Thats how I like to do business. Highly recommended if you want a straight forward purchase.

Purchased a vehicle in August 2021 from Hexon Cars. Car appeared to be in good order for a second hand vehicle, minor marks etc as to be expected. But there were serious issues. ---- Negative Points: Within 4 months the vehicle had failed with a serious mechanical issue. Notice was sent to company who instructed Lawgistics to represent them. Between the company and Lawgistics this drew the issue out for a further 5 months to try and rectify the issue. I would take items advertised and described with a large pinch of salt, If you read the reviews on here, auto trader and other sources you will notice a similar pattern regarding servicing and other points. I believe that the defect that was present when the vehicle was sold (confirmed by an independent vehicle examiner) was of serious nature that could have caused serious harm. Similar reviews on here and auto trader state similar issues with bolts not being tightened or inserted correctly. The company had a slow uptake on communication via email, telephone or messages, sometimes completely lacking. This issue has been commented on numerous times by other reviews. Being a distant purchase I was unable to physically call in to speak to the company. Due to issues not being resolved fully by Lawgistics the company was taken to County Court (Small Claims Court) for the issues. Final judgement was ruled March 2023, in my favour. The contents of this will remain confidential along with the settlement received. Initial offers for purchasing the car back was laughable, especially with the vehicle examiners report. I would advise anyone making a purchase to put a deposit or part payment on a credit card to give you Section 75 protection on the total cost, along with sticking to Consumer Rights which prevailed in this case. Some of the reviews posted on auto trader, google, their site that are positive have been made up "because homies from my country work here" or are from the company directors (Check names vs companies house). ---- Positive Points: The staff are friendly enough when you can speak to them, they are polite and usually friendly. The vehicles that they sell are valeted, whilst not to a high detailed standard to make the car like new, but to a good standard that anyone would be happy with. After all it is a second hand car. Their stock of vehicles and pricing is reasonable compared to other companies within the South of England. I travelled to them for a specific type of vehicle that no one else had available due to the popularity of them. They were willing to have a vehicle given a new MOT as it had less than 6 months, and held the vehicle for a week whilst arrangements were made. They also assisted by allowing a courtesy car to sit in there compound for collection after I had made the purchase. ---- Personal Belief is that whilst this is not a operator, they do border heavily on the line of trader. The moral of Little Red Riding Hood should be applied here. I personally would not purchase from them again, although I wish the staff no malice and hopefully they can implement internal changes to better their customer service experience.

Bought a car from them stating cam belt had been replaced recently, within a week the car broke down and was found to be the camb belt, although within their warranty they refused to pick the car up, I had to pay for the repair myself. No offer from them to pay, Customer service terrible.
