Spoke to Gary about a car late on Friday and arranged to call in the following day. He has been great to deal with although the car sold itself it drove like new and is a great price with very little miles on the clock and a full service history and new MOT. The car is spotlessly clean and doesn't have a mark on it, and I was made aware of warranties etc on the engine and gears as you would with a used car. I would definitely go back and use again and recommend to friends. So far so good.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR REVIEW.
Rogue trader alert! Phoned High Peak Cars earlier in the day to let him know that I was on my way to come and purchase one of his cars. We spoke a couple of times and he agreed and said he would wait for me. I did say it would be a 4 hour drive to get to him. Ten minutes before I got to his garage he sent a text saying "sorry car now sold" He was like a little scared alter boy and couldn't even answer his phone. Stay well clear of High Peak Cars.

I have a rogue review from a prospective customer who was travelling to view a car we had in stock, we had other customers coming to view as well on the same day. We always ask if they want to leave a securing deposit while they are travelling, but all declined. The car was purchased by another customer, I then informed all the other prospective customers that it had been sold out of courtesy. I have had abusive e mail and spoof adverts with my mobile number listed by the above, very malicious, unjust and unfair.
I purchased a car from High Peak Cars. I had an issue with it within 2 months- the car lurched and would drag, often on the motorway. This was an intermittent problem. I went back to High Peak Cars where he stated (after asking the current mileage) my warranty was either 3 months or less than 1000 miles- whichever came first- and I had done just over 1000 miles. I stated he had not said that when I bought it- he only stated that it came with a warranty when I asked. I've since learned to ask for everything in writing! He attempted to rectify it in "good faith" by sending me to a mechanic he knew. The mechanic seemed nice enough but I was clearly fobbed off. The problem persisted intermittently. High Peak Cars were unwilling to help me further. I contacted Citizen's Advice, but to take him to court seemed costly, both financially and emotionally. I took the car to be fixed somewhere independently. It cost me over £400 to have the pressure regulator solenoids replaced. Not long after this, I took the car for its first MOT since purchasing it, which it failed, costing me over £300. I've recently sold it for a lot less than I purchased it for, and now feel comfortable leaving a negative review. I certainly won't be recommending High Peak Cars to anyone!

Kimberley purchased @ eleven year old one owner Peugeot 206 1.4 lx automatic with 41615 miles, and eleven service stamps for £1695. She collected the car on 20 September 2014. She phoned me on 12 November 2014 to inform me she had an intermittent fault, she had covered over 2000 miles in that period. I did inform her that she was out of the three month/1000 mile warranty period, but as a show of good faith I asked her to take her car to a specialist in Whaley bridge to check the transmission for any faults, she was not fobbed off in any way. No fault could be found @ the time. On 26 February 2015 (vosa records) the 206 failed an mot @ 45470 miles on two suspension arm rubbers NOT £300 of work. The 206 @ the last mot on 9th February 2017 (vosa) has now travelled 56153 miles by another owner, and is obviously still going strong. I like to put the record straight, we sell older good value for money vehicles with full service history to nice customers whom we look after.
