Very surprised to see some bad reviews for Highbury Motors as the car, service and staff were impeccable.......Bought an Audi a3 5 door off these guys back in January and absolutely love the car. The guy, Bob who took us on our test drive was very reassuring and very informative, and after being at 3 dealerships prior to this one, it became apparent, their customer care and service was paramount. Don't get me wrong, my husband and i can be very fussy at times and don't like confrontation like some car sales garages we previously experienced, however Paul the salesman especially made us feel at ease and comfortable and guided us into the sort of vehicle that was practicable for us......Haven't had one problem with Betsy (sorry guys), I love her and would quite happily purchase again. Sorry to hear other reviews, but I personally am a happy egg!!! Thanks guys. All the best for the future. Emma and Mark. x
Utterly terrible service and product quality. We bought a family car which, within a few days, broke down whilst driving my young family on the motorway due to a failure with the fuel injector. Highbury Motors fixed the problem but a few weeks later the car wouldn't start due to an oil leak. Our mechanic looked at the car and listed numerous things as to why the car was unfit to drive, one of which was that it had been in a front end collision. This was news to us. Under the Consumer Rights Act we were entitled to a full refund - what a battle it has been, complete with shocking customer service and a complete lack of ethics. They gave us a partial refund. This company does not care if the car you drive away is safe...all they care about is the money. DO NOT BUY FROM HIGHBURY MOTORS, or whatever the other names they operate under in order to try and distance themselves from their hideous reputation.

The staff here at Highbury Motors were really helpful especially the driver/handy man who took us on our test drive. Once we purchased my new white Bmw, he helped fix my boyfriends cd player on his car which hadn't worked in forever. We are happy with our car and would recommend these guys. Thanks Highbury team. Also i must add they had the most gorgeous dog. Kay & Andre x

We emailed the Highbury Motors about a car on a Friday night around 6pm, and he got back to us almost immediately, stating that the car was available and set up a time for us to view and test drive the car between 2pm-3pm. He asked us to call and confirm availability the next morn, so we did and were told the car wasn't on the lot and no one from sales was available, to call again later, As we were already in the area, we just stopped by about half an hour after that. The sales guy told us that the car was at a different lot in Bristol, being prepped at the workshop as they had just received it. He told us to come back between 2-3, but to call before. We are not local to Bristol and drove a 3 hour round trip to make it to Bristol for the day. We called him at 1:30 for him to tell us that he still didn't have the car, and that he would call us when he got it. At 4:30pm, as we hadn't heard from him, we stopped by the lot again, where the guy casually mugged us off and said "still don't have it, can't get a driver to deliver the car", and there were three guys that worked there just sitting behind desks and not one other customer in the yard. No apology, only explained when we asked him to, and was generally just dismissive and unhelpful. We were ready to purchase a car today and drive it home, and he couldn't have cared less. I don't care if they're giving a car away, I wouldn't take it from this dealer. If you're so unreliable that you can't even call to keep us updated, when you're clearly not doing anything else, then I surely don't trust you to sell me a reliable car. Good luck in this business, but I don't see you being successful in it. Try a bit of customer service next time.

I found a great BMW on the website at £500 less than the price on the window. They honoured the lower price. The man who took us on the test drive, Bob, was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. He gave me some free mats and valeted the car to a high standard. I've had no problems with it so far and am a happy customer, especially as they took my old car on p-ex even though it was in a poor state.
A work colleague recommended Highbury Motors to me and I brought my BMW off them. They were very helpful in finding me the right car for my needs and their customer service was great. They answered all my questions and provided me with useful additional information. The car was showroom clean when I picked it up and drives beautifully. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Bought my second car from here at the beginning of summer and just went back to upgrade to a 5 door as I'm having a baby. Good customer service and they were very helpful. surprisingly they offered me a great deal on my part exchanger to. Every experience is different in my opinion. I defiantly recommend them x

I had had a few issues with my car from Highbury Motors. Its been back in the garage for abut 3 weeks now while they try to resolve the issue which is the turbo. The car was relatively clean and in good condition when i received it but the after sales are not very good and I wouldn't recommend.

BEWARE anyone looking for a quality car from a good sales company I purchased a BMW 5 series from Highbury Motors for almost £5300 which promises of full service, checks and fresh MOT! By the time I had driven from Bristol to Exeter the problems started and got continually worse. Engine management, loss of power, sensors failing, safety features failing, worn tyres from worn bushes and no tracking etc. Despite many correspondence and calls requesting a refund which I was promised if car wasn't fixed and the car going back after my mechanic had outlined all the issues they still hadn't fixed it and covered it up with quick fix ways! I'm now stuck with a car that has no power in top gears and at least £2500 worth of work doing inc DPF AND DUAL FLY WHEEL ETC! Out of pocket by £5300 plus what I have already had to spend on diagnostics and new tyres and also lied too about the V5 which despite being told they had ordered one they hadn't so again had to pay and sort myself with nothing but excuses! Now going thru legal channels, trading standards, visa disputes and then my own retribution!

Hi, Going through a similar problem with them - picked up a car 3 weeks ago and the engine warning light came on, having tests done to confirm the issue(s) as have been told it could potentially be the valve guides which can cost up to £800 to fix, bought the car for £2350 so not willing to pay that. I know all my rights so I'm entitled to a full refund or repair after diagnostics, how are you getting on with claiming the money back through legal channels? Interested to hear an update. Cheers
